Vinyls, CDs, DVDs, books in English, French and Spanish, guitar and darbouka are available. No TV at home, most people use their laptop nowadays.

The apartment is at the end of a long driveway, not on the road, hence its quiet and light.

Bus, train, cafés, Countdown, PaknSave, Huckleberry organic department store, Dress Smart, library, churches, etc.. at our door. Including Onehunga Aquasport swimming pools and gym (outdoor in summer, and indoor all year round) 600 metres away. In addition to cheap and second-hand shops to organise your van before you set off on the road!
One Tree Hill / Cornwall Park is 3 blocks away, great for exercise, walks, free outdoor tai chi on Saturday mornings, views, nature (sheep included!).
Night market on Mondays, until 10pm.
The Dolphin Theatre puts up 6 or 7 shows a year.
Pleasant walk to Mangere Mount and crater.
1.5km walk to Onehunga foreshore.
Exactly half way between the city / CBD / Princes Wharf / Wynyard Quarter and the airport (10kms from each). Downtown in 30 mins by train, from Onehunga station.
If you fly directly to Auckland, bus 380 ($5) will drop you off 500 metres from home, by the library. And I'll pick you up from there, no worries. Interaction with GuestsBreakfast offered: I'll do my best to meet your diet requirements. All other meals you have to buy for yourself. Shops, cafes, restaurants, takeaways round the corner. But you're welcome to use some basic ingredients of mine to cook for yourself, and replace them if need be.
