The SpaceGreat lakefront log cabin on the shore of Mooselookmeguntic Lake. Queen bed in the master, twin bunk in the other room. Large yard, flat lawn at the lake, sandy bottom swimming area. Bald Mountain is in the back yard (easy 1.3 mile hike to incredible views of the Rangeley Lakes area). Close to shopping, restaurants and activities for the kids. The best part is that you can listen to the water lapping the shore and loons singing. The bathroom and kitchen were redone a few years ago. Linens are provided. You are responsible for leaving the cabin clean and ready for the next guests (cleaning supplies provided). We rent Saturday 2pm to Saturday 10am only. No split weeks. No pets, please. You'll have the use of our kayaks and canoes and can rent motor boats or take water skiing lessons nearby. The Rangeley Lakes region is famous for hunting, fishing, hiking and all type of outdoor recreation. We love it there and hope that you will love it, too! There is wi-fi access, but no TV. Bring a good book and enjoy a week without screen time. You'll enjoy the break. Guest AccessThe yard, the lake, kayaks, canoe, water toys and the great outdoors. We love to share our beautiful neck of the woods. Interaction with GuestsAs much or as little as you would like. This property shares the waterfront with the main house. You might encounter your hostess reading a book in a chair out front. Feel free to pull up a chair and hear stories about the area or sit by yourself and enjoy the lake, we're not picky. You should always feel comfortable using the entire yard. Please don't be shy. The NeighborhoodWe are a typical lakefront setting. You can see and hear other camps from our camp. That said, Mooselookmeguntic is a very quiet lake, with few boats. The neighborhood is generally quiet. Jet skis are not allowed on Mooselookmeguntic Lake. Other Things to NoteWe are often asked is this is a good place to bring kids. It is an awesome place to bring older kids (over 5), but it is tough for the little kids. The reason for this is because we have a dock and not a beach. Families with little kids often prefer a beach.

Great private cabin rental, ready to go for 2016, June through early October. Tastefully decorated, old world charm. Franklin fireplace and plenty of firewood to add to the mood! Loons will lull you to sleep. Beautiful forest and lakeshore setting, great views out 3 picture windows to Mooselookmeguntic lake and the mountains. Large deck; private setting. Dock at waterfront, rental also includes use of our 2 canoes. Our kids catch trout for breakfast right off the dock! Mooring ready for your boat if needed. I'll be more than happy to describe more for you, and to 'host' you with ideas and suggestions to make your vacation perfect. We rent occasionally; this isn't a business. The benefit to you is a great place with a personal, warm touch! We've kept the place fairly 'old fashioned' and like a true cabin. We don't have any television; this is on purpose. It really gives families and friends the chance to rediscover some of the lost arts; card games, wonderful conversations by the fire and reading great novels! Beds: 1 Queen Bed, 2 Twin Beds Deposits: Full payment must be received prior to beginning of stay. 10% discount for any vacation days scheduled for use in October. Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check Other Fees: No other charges. Firewood, canoe included in charge. No linens. And, no smoking please! Thank you!
