Interaction with GuestsWe will welcome you to our home and provide travel information about our area. You are welcome to visit with us, go for a walk on the trails behind the house, or just come and go. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is a quiet dead-end street. There are walking trails behind the house if you want to take a quiet walk. Getting AroundYou will need a car as there is no public transportation where we live. Sorry! Other Things to NoteWe have new cat named Zoro. He is a bit timid so you may not see him during your visit. Acadia National Park was established to protect the area's spectacular scenic values, Maine's rock bound coast, its coastal and its offshore islands as characterized by the geologic features, natural history and the native plant and animal life. A warm, rustic, old-time Maine camp. Large kitchen, picture windows to the pond, deck with grill, and open loft plan make this cabin great for families. The swimming is great, with dock, raft, and wading area with rocks to sit on. The view of Parks Pond Bluff is really special. Take one of two kayaks or a canoe around the pond, known for being relatively quiet and clean with good fishing. Hike up the side of the bluff for a spectacular view, or through the woods to nearby Eagle Bluff. A great place to be in summer to escape the heat, but the gas-fired stove makes for a cozy place stay to see the fall foliage as well. *Before June 30 or after September 6 you can rent for as few two nights.*
