PRICING / SEASONAL RATES: From November 1 - March 31, our overnight pricing is a fraction of the regular in-season rates. From April 1 - October 31, we charge in-season pricing, but we still offer percentage discounts for multiple night reservations. All guests at Halcomb's Knob Bed and Breakfast are daily served full four (4) course breakfasts with complimentary evening desserts!
KING SUITE, one of two first floor rooms, offers a panoramic view of the southwest rolling landscape overlooking our cattle pastures. CHILDREN: due to the approximately of farm ponds near the Inn, we are unable to accommodate children at the "walking age". Children over the age of 16 accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 are welcome.
PETS: Our farm and Inn are home to two personal pets - 1 dog and 1 cat; and as a working farm at various times of the year we have livestock on-farm. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate your personal pets, no matter how well-behaved. For their safety and our animals' safety, please leave your pets at home. Guest AccessAs owners, we will live on the premises. The Gathering Room and Dining Room, as well as screened porch and deck, and general farm and woodlands are common areas open to all guests. Due to health department restrictions, guests are prohibited from utilizing the Inn's kitchen located adjacent to the Dining Room. Interaction with GuestsHalcomb's Knob B&B is also our home, and as such we have regular interactions with our guests, but we also allow our guests plenty of individual relaxation time. The NeighborhoodOur B&B sits in the rolling hills of the Appalachian foothills, home to a diverse array of fauna and flora. Depending upon the season of your stay, you may be awakened to the chorus of coyotes or the rat-tat-tat of our flourishing woodpecker population. Our agricultural setting is rural, with stars as your nightlights and the wind as your "traffic". Getting AroundNo public transportation is available. Guests must relay upon their own mode of transportation whether by cycle or automobile. LOCATION: We're located just six miles for I-75, exit 76. 30 miles from Lexington, 11 miles from Richmond, and 8 miles from "downtown" Berea. However, please be aware, after the sun sets, the rural roads of this area are not lighted which may make navigation to our Inn difficult. Within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival, we will send you detailed travel directions, PLEASE follow these directions, as more often than not, GPS systems fail to bring you to the Inn's door - instead leaving you in a cow pasture.
