The SpaceSecluded house in a private neighborhood in a rural area, on Guarda do Embau beach, about 50 quilometers south of Florianopolis, Santa Catarina's capital. Guarda do Embau was once listed by a magazine as one of the ten best places to surf in Brazil.

In this house, two bedrooms accommodate four people, two more can sleep in living room if needed. 15 minute walk to the beach, privacy, silence, lots of trees.
You'll have the whole house, but will share the entrance, since there is a studio (also for rent) in the back of the land: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/9061739
Very simple, a very "rootsy" environment. You'll see cows grazing around...
The house is full of books and the kitchen and living room are connected, which invites sharing food and stories with friends...
Perfect for summer vacation (December to March in south hemisphere), kind of cold in winter.
The house has no phone or internet.
Praia da Pinheira has two beaches:
1 - To go to Praia de Cima you can either walk or drive. It’s a small beach with almost no waves. There is a nice bar right on the sand towards the end of the beach called Passarinho. Enjoy a beer with fried shrimps or fish
2 - The main beach runs alongside downtown. It’s big and more popular.
Guarda do Embau has also two beaches. You have to walk to get to them, but if you prefer not to walk so much you can drive and park downtown - however, I don’t recommend it, since parking can be an issue during the summer.
1 - Take the little boat to cross the river to get to the bigger beach. Once there you will find tents where you can buy beverages and food. They also offer chairs and sun umbrellas for rent.
2 - The other one you just walk a trail. By the end of the beach there is a very popular bar called Evori, inside an old fishing hut. Walking a little more you get to Prainha - the most deserted beach of all them, really beautiful.
To walk to Guarda from the house: walk until the end of the street and turn left (the opposite side of the gate). Follow the trail: you will first cross a small bridge, then walk alongside a field, than pass some houses, cross another gate and another small bridge then the trail leads into a little patch of forest. By the end of the woods you’ll see a gate on your right and a street. Take that and you’ll be downtown. It’s a really nice trail and it takes about 10 to 15 minutes. If you do this at night, take a flashlight with you.
- Go to downtown Pinheira. There are two supermarkets and many grocery stores. Go to Sacolão for fresh fruit, vegetables and local goods, like corn bread and cheese. You have to go left on the main road and pass the gas station. It looks pretty much just like a warehouse.
- Pinheira also has laundry, internet places, restaurants etc. But for nicer places to eat, go to Guarda. Guest AccessGuests have access to the whole house and backyard.
Entrance, gate and parking shared with studio's guests. Getting Around45 km from Florianopolis
