The SpaceThis is a double-room in our peaceful guesthouse. We provide local food, hospitality, and a sense of home. We also have a kitchen which our guests are welcome to use.
The room has a double bed, a wardrobe and bench-seat, wifi, and shares a bathroom with one other room. Usually you'll have the bathroom to yourself. If you don't want a double-bed, we also have a double room available which has two single beds. Please just let us know your preference when you book.
There is hot-water in the bathroom, and we have 24-hour electricity. The location is very quiet during the night.
Breakfast is included in the price of the room. We can also provide other food if required during the day. Guest AccessGuests will have access to their rooms and all the common areas of the guesthouse. We have a small library space, rooftop, and a kitchen with a dining area and TV. Interaction with GuestsWe will be present during our guest's stay and can help them organize any trekking they would like to do in the local area. We also run a small primary school, called Medaka Family School, in Saping Village, which is 30 kms from Dhulikhel. Some of our guests come up to stay in Saping village, to experience rural Nepalese life for a few days. We also welcome volunteer teachers who would like to spend time in Saping teaching the children at the school. The NeighborhoodThe guesthouse neighbourhood is very peaceful. You will get partial mountain views from our rooftop, and beautiful Himalayan vistas just a 2 minute walk from the house. We can provide food for our guests, but there are also restaurants located very close to the house. Getting AroundWe are located a 15 minute walk from the Dhulikhel Bus Station, and are 1 hour from Kathmandu. We can pick you up from the station if you call ahead to organize this.
