The SpaceOur homey ranch-style house is comfortable and quiet, we have no indoor pets and we do not smoke. We will do everything we can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible! Guest AccessGuests have a television with cable in the bedroom, and will share a bathroom with the hosts. Our beautiful outdoor spaces can be used by guests. A large 32' front porch with an old fashioned swing awaits, or go to the backyard and sit under the gazebo top on the 12x20 deck, which is a perfect place to dine in the country air. We also have a small garden seating area for 4 with an umbrella table, where you can watch the locals drive by or just enjoy the flowers in the summer. Want to watch the game or catch a movie but still be outdoors? Use our jumbo outdoor TV on the front porch! Interaction with GuestsWe lead busy lives but are generally home in the evenings. Join us in the living room if you choose, we are open to sharing our spaces with you, or do your own thing, we're fine either way! The NeighborhoodWe live a very rural town of 600 people in the rolling hills of Bourbon County. People are very friendly and down to earth here. There's not much to do here in town but it's the perfect place to just unwind and get away from it all. We have two convenience stores, a Dollar General a post office and multiple churches. The SpaceAbove Gallery St. George, this apartment features original art, elegant design, oriental rugs, and beautiful furnishings. This space is a 900 sq. ft. one-bedroom apartment that houses overflow art from the gallery. The building is over 100 years old and located right in downtown Paris. It's usually a very quiet town after 10 pm, but occasional street noise can't be excluded. The apartment includes a kitchen, large bedroom, bathroom, and open concept living and dining room. The kitchen is brand new and fully equipped. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room, so the apartment can sleep 4 comfortably. The brand new bathroom is small but efficient, with a large shower but no tub. Linens, towels, soap, and shampoo are provided. Paris is a beautiful older rural town with a vibrant and charming downtown. It is revitalizing and has many restaurants, cafés, antiques stores, and galleries! Its vibrant and charming downtown is full of restaurants, cafés, antique stores, and galleries! It is surrounded by famous Thoroughbred horse farms and is close driving distance to Lexington, Keeneland, and the Horse Park. You will be living directly on Main St. The benefits are being steps away from restaurants, shops, and pubs. There may be some street noise and one previous guest commented on a train horn (the old train line is a about a quarter mile away). Getting AroundStreet parking available. Within walking distance to restaurants, bank, laundry, and shopping. 30 minutes to Kentucky Horse Park and 40 minutes to Keeneland Race Course.

Smart TV Channels include Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, Amazon, PBS, NBA, NHL, ESPN, Disney, Pandora, Spotify, Blockbuster and RedBox on Demand, M2Go, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), YouTube and so much more available for your pleasure! The full kitchen with electric range, full size fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, waffle maker and all of the necessary items awaits your culinary prowess, or if you prefer, allow us to make your home-cooked meals and comfort foods for you! Behind the kitchen is a dining area/breakfast nook, and the bathroom is on the first floor as well. The second floor is one large room, partially divided, and we can provide a more complete division of the rooms if you so choose. The main room has two queen beds, two dressers, nightstand, clock radio, electric fireplace and 24" flat screen SMART TV with a DVD player for your entertainment. The other side of the divider has an office area with a writing desk, books for you to browse and a cozy twin bed. This makes a great kids room, extra room, etc. Just outside the upstairs door is a 12x20 deck with seating. Enjoy a starlit night from your 2nd story observatory, and if you choose, you can even sleep under the stars with your own airbed. A small charcoal grill is available for your use, as are all of the outdoor spaces on our properties. We have a (seasonal) fire pit area, a covered gazebo with a dining table and seating for 6, an umbrella table on the patio that seats 4, and a cute little table for two on the front porch. Subject to seasons, of course! North Middletown, nestled in the rolling hills of Bourbon County, sits among some of the finest horse farms in the world. Take a tour of the historic and awesome farms, while you're here, or visit one of the many attractions such as the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, The Red Mile, Red River Gorge, the Ruth Hunt Candy Factory, etc. The list of historic homes, museums and attractions could go on for pages, to see some more, check out Lexington area visitor web sites. You will be away from the hectic city life, here with us, in a town of less than 600 friendly people. From the house, you are within walking distance of two stores where you can grab a pizza, a beer or some locally made Ale-8-1, hit the tanning beds or do your laundry! Within a 15 minute to one hour's drive, you can do anything you choose! We are 24 miles from Lexington or Georgetown (Toyota is there!) and within 90 minutes you can be in Louisville or Cincinnati, Ohio. Who would have thought you could be so far out in the country and so close to conveniences and metro-life all at the same time? Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire house! The SpaceYour room includes a full size bed, 32" HDTV with cable and DVD player, wireless internet, 4 cup coffeemaker, snacks, private half bath, all linens, armchair and ottoman, desk and chair, plenty of space in dresser and closet areas. Outdoors we have a 32' front porch with a big porch swing, chairs and bench for enjoying the country air, along with a 12x20 deck and a patio with umbrella table. All outdoor spaces are available for guest use including our patio, deck and front porch with a 5' swing.     The SpaceThis space has a private entrance, and is the walk out basement portion of a house on a gated property with 70 acres. Our family stays on the 2 floors above the basement. There is access to a pond with a canoe and kayak that can be used by guests, as well as kids bikes and scooters and a long driveway on which to ride them, and a big trampoline. There are also paths along the property including some through the woods, as well as a primitive camping area with a fire pit along a creek on the property for those who want to rough it! Guest AccessGuests have access to 2 bedrooms, full bath, and a sitting room equipped with a futon couch, a TV, microwave, small fridge and dishes (Please note that there is not a full kitchen). No cable but netflix is available. Also, there are walking paths around the farm and through the woods, creek and camping area, fire pit with wood, chimnea, long private drive, and gas grill. The NeighborhoodThis is a rural home with plenty of privacy. It is about 11 miles from I-75 in Georgetown.     The SpaceThe Amish built cabin is brand new but is furnished with recycled, reclaimed, repurposed and reused materials. Enjoy our old "washtub" for your bath/shower. Pallet furnishings, and historical memorabilia abound in this space. A great history lesson for the youngsters or an opportunity to revisit the ways of yesteryear for anyone.     The SpaceForest Retreat was the home of Thomas Metcalf, the 10th governor of Kentucky, designed and built by him around 1814 and restored in 1935 by Dr. and Mrs. Eslie Asbury, 17 beautifully landscaped acres on Kentucky's most scenic highway from Lexington to Maysville, with a stone wall perimeter, the historic property is considered an entire district with its 1806 Tavern, The stone barn, Main House, Carriage House, Guest House and historic cemetery where the Metcalf's along with the Asbury's are laid to rest. Forest Retreat was also home to the 1954 Kentucky Derby Winner Determine whose grave marker is also located on the property. Forest Retreat is considered one of Kentucky's best preserved examples of country federal design with décor and furnishings in the federal style, circa 1790 to 1840, additional modern amenities added to make guests feel at home, come sleep in "The Governor's Bedroom", dine in the gorgeous dining room where Andrew Jackson dined on his way to his inauguration as president of the United States. The NeighborhoodDowntown Paris is in the middle of a renaissance period, with quaint new shops, incredible local eateries, a micro brewery, a small-batch distillery, and plenty of charm. This apartment is right in the heart of downtown, within walking distance to all of it! Getting AroundYou'll be within walking distance of various restaurants and shops; and just a short drive from Lexington. There is street parking and a free public parking lot within the same block. Other Things to NoteDuring the Spring and Fall, Keeneland, the Paris Art Walk, and Secretariat Festival are a great weekend attraction. During the Summer, there are always great live musicians and local fare during festivals and Third Thursdays.

      Harp Innis is a historic farm situated on 10 acres amidst the most beautiful horse country in the Lexington Bluegrass region. The property is conveniently located for easy access to all of Lexington's attractions yet offers the privacy and space of being out on a secluded farm in the country. The Kentucky Horse Park is an beautiful 15 minute drive and you can be to UK in downtown Lexington, Keeneland and Bluegrass Airport in less than a half an hour. It is also a perfect home base for exploring the local Bourbon Trail! The main house comfortably sleeps 6 in 3 Queen bedrooms and has 2 full baths and 1 half bath. A free standing "Casita", available with your rental, is located adjacent to the main house with a private, lockable entrance sleeps an additional 4 between a lofted bed and a Queen sleeper sofa. Hutchison Station was part of the L&N; railroad system between 1890/1950, it still has the original hardwood floors, 12' ceilings and much of the original molding. Many of the original families still live in the area.           Forest Retreat was the home of Thomas Metcalf, the 10th governor of Kentucky, designed and built by him around 1814 and restored in 1935 by Dr. and Mrs. Eslie Asbury, 17 beautifully landscaped acres on Kentucky's most scenic highway from Lexington to Maysville, with a stone wall perimeter, the historic property is considered an entire district with its 1806 Tavern, The stone barn, Main House, Carriage House, Guest House and historic cemetery where the Metcalf's along with the Asbury's are laid to rest.             Welcome to Hutchison Station, our renovated 1890’s train depot. Explore the horse farms, Bourbon trail and central KY while staying on our working thoroughbred horse farm right in the heart of the bluegrass. Hutchison Station was part of the L&N railroad system between 1890 and 1950 with passenger and freight service between Lexington and Paris. It was the center of the local community and included a post office, 2 blacksmith shops, general store and cattle pens. Hutchison station is divided into two ground floor apartments. The “Limerick” (named for Lisa’s event horse) has hardwood flooring throughout, 12’ ceilings and is furnished with local handcrafted and antique furniture. The Limerick has two en-suite bedrooms each with a king size bed. The living area includes counter seating for four plus table seating for four. Hutchison station is approx half way between Lexington and Paris- • 10 minutes to downtown Paris. • 15 minutes to the Kentucky Horse Park • 20 minute to downtown Lexington. John-George and Sadie our miniature donkeys happily accept treats.
