    The SpaceIt's a newly renovated house, all carpeted, with high ceilings, decorative cornice work, fireplace in each bedroom (not functional though!). The best thing about is an amazing location. Guest AccessThe guests will have an access to the living area of the house, as well as a backyard. The room is fitted with a small bar fridge and tea and coffee facilities, and for the longer stays you will have an access to the kitchen and cooking facilities. Interaction with GuestsAs much as the guest feels comfortable with. It would be great to have a chat from time to time, I'm happy to share my local knowledge and travel tips. I do not, however, stay at the property at the time, but I am available to answer your question via phone or email. The NeighborhoodIt's a lovely, quiet residential area at the doorstep of Melbourne Uni campus with it's majestic, victorian buildings. Vast, green grounds of Royal Park are 2 min away, and famous Queen Victoria Market is just down the street, withing a walking distance or short tram ride. Getting AroundExtremely convinient. Tram stop is 100m from our doorstep, and from there it's just a few stops to CBD. Other Things to NoteIs speak English, Polish and Spanish. Please note that there this is a private bedroom in a shared house, which means there are other people living at the property (between five and seven). Although there are two separate toilets, the bathroom with a bath and a shower is shared. And since it's a private property, there no locks on the door - we trust each other and our guests:)

    The SpaceClose to the city but without the noise or rush. Peaceful village atmosphere with a little cafe within the neighbourhood. Royal Park at the end of the street-(Melbourne's largest inner-city park!) sit by the duckpond or walk around 'straw-field'. City skyline is visible from here too. Taxis to and from the airport are about $60. Starbus shuttle services our area about $25 and we're in zone 2 under Parkville. UBER black is available from the airport and both UBER Black and UBER X available to the airport. We also have parking permit for onstreet parking if needed. Guests have exclusive access to their room and own bathroom. We're fairly busy but happy to have the occasional chat. It gives you the sense of being in a village with wide tree lined streets and lovely birds, but yet close to the city. Trams into the city or market (number 19) are at the end of the street. 10 minutes to Queen Vic market and another 5 or so to CBD. Market is open everyday except Monday and Wednesdays. Lygon street cinema, cafés, restaurants, gelateria, chocolate store, supermarket etc are within walking distance. We have a dog. She is a sweet (if not a bit chubby) Labrador. She likes to greet everybody and will try to say she hasn't been fed... Guest AccessGuests have access to their own private bathroom and bedroom. The rest of the house if private. Guest bedroom is equipped with toaster, kettle and a bar fridge. There is also a parking permit available for guests upon request and in advance for on-street parking within the area. Interaction with GuestsWe're fairly busy but happy to have the occasional chat! The NeighborhoodParkville gives you the sense of being in a village with tree lined streets and lovely birds, but yet close to the city when needed. The area has a beautiful sense of space and light. The architecture is mainly mid to late Victorian with old Wardlow house featured in 'Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries' around the corner on Park St. Being close to the universities and hospitals we live amongst a merry bunch of drs., academics and uni students! For those looking to study, Melbourne University is 556m away, Melbourne Business School is 857m, and Monash University 1.2 km. For those in medical research, also in similar proximity are the Women's Hospital the Royal Childrens Hospital and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Getting AroundTrams into the city or market are at the end of the street. It is called Morrah St stop or stop number 12. The tram number is 19 and also stops at Queen Victoria market on route to the city. The CBD is about 10 minutes tram ride from stop 12. UBER X and black is also available in Melbourne with a trip to the city under $10. Other Things to NoteWe have a dog. She is a sweet and gentle chocolate Labrador. She likes to greet everyone just to make sure she gets an extra pat in. If 3 guests staying, a sprung mattress is offered for the 3rd guest made-up with the same standard of linens as the main bed.

    Good property not far from the centre. Small pool. SS0309 Location Located close to the Central Business District with easy access to Melbourne Zoo, Colonial Stadium, Lygon Street Restaurants, Queen Victoria Markets, Victorian Arts Centre, Southgate Shopping and the National Gallery of Victoria. Distance 2 kms to city centre 17 kms to the nearest airport (melbourne airport) 2 km to the nearest station (north melbourne) 2 km to the nearest fair site (exhbition centre) Rooms Rooms are medium size and are in good condition. Small bathrooms. Restaurant Cafe and Bar is a Brasserie style cafe with modern decor near the hotel lobby. The Bar has an extensive range of beers, wines and spirits. Lobby Lobby is small but stylish with minimalist lines.

    The SpaceThis private bedroom is light and comfortable and easily accommodates two people. The house is located approximately 100m from the University of Melbourne, and 200m from the Royal Melbourne and Royal Women's hospitals. It is also a very short walk to the number 19, 55, and 59 trams into the city. Alternatively, it is a 15minutes walk into the city. There are also two beautiful parks located nearby. The available room is located upstairs, and has a window that overlooks the leafy street below. Guests are provided with towels, shampoo and conditioner, washing detergent, hair dryer and straightener, hot water bottles, and public transport cards (known as myki). In the available room, guests are also provided with a remote controlled fan, clothes rack and coat hangers, and a full length mirror. Guests can also use the household washing machine and refrigerator if they wish. Communal tea and coffee are also provided. Guest AccessGuests will be provided with a key upon arrival. Interaction with GuestsInteraction with the five tenants will be minimal as the house is so large, and the tenants have independent and busy lifestyles. However, you might interact with some of the tenants with whom you will share the upstairs bathroom, and the kitchen. We generally expect our guests to be independent, and to do their own thing during their stay. We do not expect guests to chat, wine, or dine with the tenants, but are welcome to do so, if they so choose. The NeighborhoodThe Parkville area features wide leafy streets, Victorian style houses, with cobbled lane ways. The area is very safe and quiet. Getting AroundOur house is located very close to the number 19, 55, and 59 trams, all of which go into the city. A map to these tram lines has been provided in your room. The nearest taxi rank can be located at the front of the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Alternatively, a taxi can be hailed from either Royal Parade or Flemington Road. Other Things to NoteWireless internet is also available. I do NOT have parking permits for guests. Although the there is parking near to my home it is strictly limited to 2hour periods between 7am and 9pm. Guests can leave their bags at the house before and after check in/out times. I only ask that you let me know in advance if you wish to do this. The room does not have heating – as the house is so large and is an older design, heating is ineffective. However, I have provided very warm bedding and hot water bottles, so guests will not be cold at night. As mentioned, the room is located upstairs. If you have problems climbing stairs, I suggest finding a more appropriate property. :) Please note, airbnb is not like a hotel - I proudly provide my guests with as many comforts as possible, and I sincerely hope they enjoy their stay. Hosts are not, however, expected to provide additional services and/or amenities than what they have advertised. There's a spacious kitchen and bathroom for you to use as well as laundry, internet, towels, shampoo, hangers/wardrobe space and communal balcony. (The park across the road or even the median strip on your doorstep is very green and nice for a picnic.) *** please be aware there will be no communal lounge space as I will use that as my bedroom/workspace while I have guests. You will have access to the large kitchen and bathroom as well as your private bedroom of course. Guest AccessBackyard! There's a leafy median strip in 5m, playground/park in 30m and the super large parklands 60m away with exercise paths, ovals, playgrounds, sportsgrounds and zoo.         This terrace house is a cozy hub in safe and sound Parkville, just 10 tram to the CBD. Room comes with a private balcony overlooking Royal Park where pet owners let their dogs run free- the atmosphere compares to home everyday of the week. Running tracks outside the door step and a restaurants, general stores, cafes within walking distance. Guests are welcome to use kitchen/living room to relax, make feasts and even entertain in the courtyard. Best suited to couples, and loan travellers.
