The SpaceACCOMMODATION Our house is in a quiet , safe and friendly neighbourhood. We can accommodate up to 4 guests. There are several popular restaurants to choose from within walking distance. We are 10kms away from Cape Town Airport International . We are happy to advise you about getting around in Cape Town and our apartment has maps and guides for a variety of activities. We can also arrange activities for you to go like extreme sports, safaris, etc. YOUR SPACE AND FACILITIES Four people can comfortably be accommodated. We offer 2 en-suite bedrooms with a lot of built in cupboards. We offer a queen size double bed or 2 single beds in the main bedroom and 2 single beds (bunker) in the second bedroom. Both rooms have pocket-spring mattresses and the linen and towels are supplied. On arrival we also supply a toothbrush, toothpaste and tissues. We also have a patio where you can have a BBQ or just enjoy a drink. Your main bedroom is fitted with a full DSTV, ceiling fan and air conditioner. Your kitchen is fully catered for. You have your own fridge, stove, microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. On arrival, you will get a fruit bowl, breakfast foods, like eggs, bacon, cereal, bread, yoghurt etc. You have your own set of keys for the duration of your stay. We have fast wireless internet for the use of internet and emails only. If you want to do laundry there is a washing machine and lots of drying space outside. We supply hand soap and shower gel. OTHER POINTS OF NOTE We have 4 friendly cats that like to interact with humans. No smoking allowed inside the house. Minimum stay is preferably 3 days and longer stays (over 2 weeks) are negotiable depending on the time of the year. Guest AccessYou will have your private entrance and own key and use of the BBQ facility. You will also have the double bedroom and en suite bathroom as well as a second bedroom with own shower, toilet and basin. You also have your own private fully equipped kitchen with a stove, fridge, microwave, washing machine, kettle, iron, toaster. I have an umbrella and backrests for your use as well as beach towels for your beach days. For a picnic you will also find a cooler box for the foodies and drinks. You have off street parking on the premises with CCTV. Interaction with GuestsWe love to interact with our guests, but also allow them to their privacy. I will advise you on where to go and what to do if you allow me to do that. The safety of our guests is very important to us and we will tell you what would be advisable to do. For people staying for a week or longer, we normally try to get together (if they like and if the time allows) to get to know them better. When leaving, our guests became like family. Rixie is always available in person or on the phone. The NeighborhoodWe love the fact that we can take long walks in parks. We are in a safe, secure suburb and close to well known restaurants that serve seafood, steaks, pasta and sushi. For shopping, Canal Walk, N1 City as well as V & A Waterfront are 5 to 20 minutes drive away with outstanding shops and restaurants. We are on the doorstep of vineyears such as De Grendel, Meerendal, Diemersdal and Durbanville Hills and also close to the internationally known Stellenbosh Wine Route and Franschoek Valley where you can go for a cheese board and wine tasting. We are centrally located between Table View, Blaauwberg Strand and Big Bay, known for kite surfing as well as surfing, Camps Bay, the 4 beaches of Clifton and Gordons Bay and the Strand known for sunbathing and fishing. We have 2 excellent supermarkets (Pick n Pay and Spar) 500m from the home. Getting AroundWe are very close to the N1 (500m) which takes you everywhere. We are in the middle between the City, wine farms and different beaches. The airport is close by. The infrastructure in Cape Town is excellent and it is very easy to drive even if you are used to drive on the right side of the road. We have parking on site with CCTV cameras. There is convenient public transport in the area, alternatively I can arrange a taxi or tour. However we always advise people to rent a car because the public transport is not always reliable and safe. Other Things to NoteWe are 500m from the N1 which is the road to take you everywhere. Although there is public transport available, it is always better to have your own transport. I can also arrange for a taxi or tour.

De Grendal, Meerendal, Diemersdal and Durbanville Hills is a short drive away as well as Stellenbosch wine route. We are also close to Big Bay, Table View and Blaauwberg Strand for surfing and kite surfing as well as Clifton, Camps Bay, Strand and Gordons Bay. Getting AroundWe are 500m from the N1 which takes you everywhere. We are in the middle of the wine yards and the city/Waterfront as well as Bloubergstrand. It is very easy for anybody to get around with a car. There are local buses and taxi services available, but it is always better to have your own transport. Other Things to NoteThe safest way to go around is to rent a car because the public transport is not safe or reliable. It is very easy to drive on our roads - the infrastructure is excellent. Access to the N1, which is the road to take you to all major attractions is 500m from the home. However there is public transport available if you wish or I can organise a taxi or tour for you, but the best is to hire a car to make sure you get the best of your stay.

Small family that lives in a 7 bedroom house; all rooms fitted with an un-suite bathroom and air conditioner, as well as satellite TV. We have 2 dogs (Boxers) and are 20 min. walk from a selection of shops, movie houses and 15 min, by car away from the beach. The nearest Game Park is 45min. drive away. We can park 5 cars in our yard should the guest decide to rent a car for their stay.

My home is a 20 min drive from the airport and from Cape Town City Centre. The closest beach (Blouberg) is about 15 min drive. There is a public gym 2 min walking distance from my home as well as 2 shopping centres where groceries or amenities can be purchased. Guest AccessGuests have access to my entire home. Interaction with GuestsAs much as you need me, so I will be available. I run my own business from home, so my time is very flexible. The NeighborhoodPlanet Fitness Gym is just two min walking distance from my home, as well as two shopping centres that includes Spar, Pick n Pay and Woolworths. Also within close range are the following eateries: Chinese, Pub, Steak, Coffee Cafes, KFC, Bistro, Steers, Spur. Getting AroundI have ample space for parking - the neighbourhood is safe. Unfortunately there isn't readily available public transport from my house. Most guests who don't have their own transport use Uber or taxi services. Other Things to NoteMy three small dogs are part of the family and aren't locked away. They are friendly house pets.

      The SpaceA lovely room in a Beagle friendly home. As owner of the Beagle BnB I have decided to open up the BnB idea to other Beagle owners with friendly and sociable Beagles. The chance for you to come and holiday in the Cape without having to worry about your hounds. They can stay here with me and the other Beagles that may be staying. There is off street parking. There is free WiFi, a washer and dryer and a small garden (smoking outside please). I am a qualified chef and can provide meals at an additional cost (please let me know if you would like me to e-mail the menu choices to you). Please also let me know if you require your stay to include a basic continental breakfast (R50 per person). The kitchen is available for use with prior arrangement. I work from home as a caterer too so the kitchen is not always freely available but it shouldn't be a big problem. The prices includes one Beagle, any additional hounds a charge of R75 per day per hound will be added to your bill. All places of interest such as city centre, beaches, malls are very accessible within about 15 to 20 minutes. The apartment is in a private home but has a private entrance and parking bay as well as a private patio. Guests have their own private bathroom with shower, little lounge with kitchenette and dining table, private parking and entrance and private patio. The kitchenette is fully equipped. Guests have access to a shared garden and pool and are welcome to use the washing machine and tumble dryer if needed. The apartment has DStv with South African and German TV channels. A wider bouquet can be arranged. We are a small family, so not very noisy :) If guests like interaction they are welcome to join us for weekend barbecues in the garden and we are very happy to assist them with planning their stay. We also often welcome business people who prefer peace and quiet on their return "home" which our property can definitely provide as it is very private. For business people we offer a laundry and cleaning service at an extra cost. Our neighbourhood is set on a hill overlooking Cape Town. It is very safe and close to highways and places of interest.
