Our luxurious, contemporary-styled 145-room hotel is situated just 400m from Cape Town International Airport. Guests can enjoy all we have to offer in the way of luxury rooms, innovative conference facilities, dining and much more! Hotel Verde affords travellers a convenient location from which to host a business meeting, catch up on emails, and have a rest before flying out or getting to an appointment. With free Wi-Fi, gym and an outdoor jogging trail and rock pool set in the tranquil wetlands, there is much to keep you occupied. We also have facilities for freshening up before in between flights and a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport every 30 minutes on request. An early breakfast menu is available for the red-eye traveller, or you can just select something from our VerDeli that is open 24/7. In keeping with our green philosophy, everything we do and everything we offer is about sustainability and protecting our environment – plasma screens throughout the hotel speak our green language encouraging our guests to follow suit and take what you learn or experience home with you. Standard Rooms (from R 1655): Each one of our 130 standard rooms has been equipped and designed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. Rooms are available in your choice of an open or closed plan design. Studio Rooms (from R 1945): Our 8 studio rooms include a king or twin bed arrangement, a sleeper couch and a private bathroom. Children under 12 stay and eat breakfast for free! Universally Accessible Rooms (from R 1655): Our two universally accessible rooms provide all of the features of a standard room but meet with the international standards of universally accessible design. Executive Rooms (from R 2235): Each of our four executive rooms includes a bedroom, private bathroom, and lounge and kitchenette area. The kitchenette has crockery and cutlery for four people, a washing up area, a microwave and a seated dining area. Both the main bedroom and the lounge include an interactive television system, and sofas in the lounge can be converted into sleeper couches. Executive Suites (from R 2252): We have one executive suite, which accommodates up to six people. It includes two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, a comfortable lounge and a fully equipped kitchenette. We grow our own herbs and lettuces, which are incorporated into dishes on a seasonal basis. All other ingredients are responsibly sourced from suppliers within a 160-kilometre radius of the hotel. Breakfast Buffet: We serve breakfast from 04h30 to 10h00 to ensure that our guests catching early flights are still able to get a bite in. Travellers from all over the world constantly commend our extensive breakfast spread. A wide selection of fresh fruits, nuts, muesli’s, breads, pastries, cold meats and juices, as well as a full English breakfast is what you can expect. Bar: Our bar is open from noon to 01h00 daily. We offer unique cocktails and wines, as well as, craft beers from local brewers to encourage small businesses. The beers are available on tap to reduce the carbon footprint involved in transportation and packaging. Similarly, we filter, bottle and carbonate water on site into reusable glass bottles. Our red wine selection is showcased in a glass case, which the hotel’s innovative cooling system keeps at just the right temperature. Conferencing & Events: We offer eight state-of-the-art conferencing and events venues ideal for productive meetings, workshops, launches and special events. High-tech audio-visual equipment is built into each of our conferencing venues and is included in the rates, as are Wi-Fi and secure parking. To direct delegates, we'll display your company’s logo on a digital screen in the foyer and outside the relevant venue. This is done as we start to turn away other potential guests to ensure availability for your requested dates. The balance of your accommodation is due 30 days prior to your arrival and becomes non-refundable at this time. We suggest that guests purchase sufficient travel insurance to cover your expenses in the event that you need to change or cancel your reservation.
