The tents are located within a Mesquite Bosque (woodland) with sites so secluded that glampers won’t see other tourists in the area. This glamping site allows guests to disconnect, enjoy the wildlife, and relish in the peace and quiet of nature. These luxury tents are made of beautiful mustard-yellow canvas, and they sit atop a large Fir-wood platform. The tents measure 20 feet long, 14 feet wide, and 10 feet high. Both come with an incredibly comfortable and adjustable sleep number queen-size bed, cotton linens, and adjustable cooling fans. The private outdoor bathroom includes a hot and cold shower, a rustic copper sink, large/soft towels, and an indoor, state-of-the-art Incinerator toilet. Additionally, these luxury tents are equipped with rustic wooden furniture, energy-saving lights, a mesquite-fired wood stove, nature-based art, and a nature library. Both ends of the luxury tent have stylish mesh screen doors, allowing fresh air circulation to help regulate the temperature as desired, and ensuring that the local wild creatures stay outside.. In addition, glampers can access both ends of their luxury tent via retractable stairways that lead to the outdoor decks on each side of the platform—the perfect spot for a glass of wine or a good book! It is possible to also choose to relax in a spacious cotton hammock located in a private sitting area just outside the tent.

The Neighborhood'Patagonia is an eclectic, funky, little artisan town that loves to be discovered.' Step back... to a place steeped in the mining, ranching, and railroad history that built the West. Step back to a place where residents share stories at the post office and local businesses are still owned by local people... no traffic signals and no chain stores. The Town of Patagonia is appropriately proud of its history and distinctive character. The community is quirky, warm and funky and likes it that way. Patagonia is filled with a surprising diversity of eccentric, creative, neighborly folks from all walks of life embodying a distinct 'Live and Let Live' feeling, while loving and celebrating what makes Patagonia so authentically itself. Situated at just over 4,000 feet elevation, between the Santa Rita Mountains and the Patagonia Mountains, our village is nestled in the lush, extraordinarily bio-diverse riparian corridor of Sonoita Creek. The area’s scenic beauty and unique ecology boast the greatest diversity of plant and animal species to be found in the US. With its' favorable climate and a growing colony of artisans and artists, Patagonia is a soft, colorful spot in which to land and explore. Birders, fishermen and hikers share the streets with shoppers looking for that perfect and unique gift -- and everyone revels in the year-round delightful weather. Getting AroundPatagonia is a small, somewhat remote village of about 1000 folks. Another 1000 souls occupy the immediate rural environs. The entire town is slightly larger than one square mile. You'll need your own vehicle to get to and fro, as there are no train stations or taxis that serve our little hamlet. (Well, there IS a train station, but it's been converted into the town hall and the tracks have been transformed into a scenic walking trail.) Distance to nearest airports: - Nogales International Airport: 11 miles - Tucson International Airport: 55 miles - Phoenix International Airport: 170 miles Distance to other points of interest: - U.S./Mexico border: 18 miles - Nogales, AZ: 18 miles - Tucson, AZ: 70 miles - Sierra Vista, AZ: 45 miles - Sonoita, AZ: 12 miles - Bisbee, AZ: 65 miles - Tubac, AZ: 35 miles - Tombstone, AZ: 50 miles - Green Valley, AZ: 53 miles - Karchner Caverns: 42 miles - Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum: 75 miles - Kitt Peak Observatory: 110 miles - Sedona, AZ: 300 miles - Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico: 270 miles - San Diego: 470 miles - Santa Fe: 520 miles Other Things to NotePatagonia is oh-so-lovely and super-funky -- in the best of all possible ways! It's a bit reminiscent of Bisbee, Arizona, in all its' artsy, exuberant glory. We love Bisbee, too -- AND we're biased to feel that Patagonia occupies the better 'feng shui' siting on the land... nestled cozily, rather than clinging to the steep caliche hillsides, with an international diversity and authentic Borderlands vibe. Patagonia is, in many ways, a Mexican town inside the U.S. border. (And it wasn't too very long ago that this spot was, in fact, IN Mexico.) One of the charms of this sweet and welcoming village is the sheer diversity of the types of homes... arranged in a slapdash, democratic patchwork of vintage raw mud adobe miners' cabins, tidy Mission-style bungalows, funky artists' compounds, multi-generational decades-old trailers, tidy manufactured homes, straw bale dwellings, geodesic domes, and newer monied mini-estates. Our humble little casita is smack-dab in the middle of this refreshingly random quilt! Be prepared to be refreshed by the unpretentious antithesis to modern hyper-planned pseudo-towns. C'mon down and savor life just north of the colorful border! Rusted corrugated tin, with its unpretentious and rustic, artsy ease, may never have enchanted you quite so!

One of the charms of this sweet and welcoming village is the sheer diversity of the types of homes... arranged in a slapdash, democratic patchwork of vintage raw mud adobe miners' cabins, tidy Mission-style bungalows, funky artists' compounds, multi-generational decades-old trailers, cobbled-together shacks, tidy manufactured homes, straw bale homes, geodesic domes and newer monied mini-estates. Our humble little casita is smack-dab in the middle of this refreshingly random quilt! Be prepared to be entertained by Patagonia's unpretentious antithesis to modern, hyper-planned, pseudo-neighborhoods. C'mon down and savor life just north of the colorful border! Rusted corrugated tin, with its easy-going, rustic ease, may never have enchanted you quite so.

NOTE: We have a swamp cooler which is a type of air conditioner. Evaporative swamp coolers use their simple cooling technology to inject moisture into the air, cooling your home or office through evaporation. This added moisture can keep your eyes and skin from drying out. Traditional air conditioners remove moisture from the air, which can be difficult on your eyes and can cause your skin to dry out and crack. If you suffer from asthma or allergies, an evaporate cooler can help with your symptoms. Dry air can aggravate allergies and asthma, especially in children and the elderly, so an evaporative cooler and the added moisture it provides can be particularly beneficial.
