This is a rural property surrounded by farm and ranch land. During the daylight hours, it is not a quiet place. There can be noise from tractors doing agriculture work, noise from livestock, a train that passes on the other side of the valley, a nearby shooting range (open from dawn to dusk), and hikers / bikers all using the trail head at the county park. Of course all of that quiets down at night.
The houses in the neighborhood are not close.
There are no restaurants in the neighborhood, but your hosts will be happy to recommend several favorites in Corvallis and Philomath as well as the Oregon coast. Getting AroundThis is a rural property located 10 minutes from Philomath, 20 minutes from Corvallis, and 50 minutes from the Oregon coast town of Newport. With prior arrangement your host may transport you to venues.
