It is a shorter walk to our Supermarket for you to get supplies.

Your secure car park is close to the elevator that takes you to your apartment Interaction with GuestsWelcome to Vista 403 Vista 403 is in Oxleys Apartments which are situated on the waterfront in Picton, at the eastern (marina) end of London Quay. The address is 6 London Quay. #403 is on the 4th floor of Tower 2. Arrival – Your keys can be found in the Apartment in Picton key box, which is located on the right hand side of the apartment entrance (opposite the apartment contact list and key pad). The combination for the box is 634. Your keys are numbers 8 (and 10 if you require a second set). Getting in – •By Car - drive around the building, turn up Endeavour Lane and swipe the stem near the roller gate, on the ground floor. Park your car in the space identified as 403. Take the door to Tower 2, (behind your car and across the parking space). •By foot - Swipe the module on the left of the door, then use your swipe to open the second door. The Tower 2 lift is straight ahead. Check in time is after 2.00pm. Kitchen – Basic condiments, coffee, tea, flour, salt pepper etc, are supplied, however please replenish if you use them up. Bedrooms – Your beds will be made up when you arrive. All linen is provided, but you may wish to bring extra towels for swimming. Further information. On the kitchen bench you will find a booklet “Living at 403”. In this you will read of all the other information you will require for a comfortable stay, including Internet connection. Departure – You should vacate the apartment before 10 am. On departure please leave all keys on the kitchen bench. Please help us to keep our accommodation up to scratch by filling in the check-out sheet before you leave. Picton - the heart of the Sounds - is where arrive from and leave for the North Island. But it has a myriad of things to do and see for a few days, before moving on. Picton, at the top of the South, is a conservation hub. Ask about the ecological projects going on in and around the town. Getting AroundYour apartment is a short walk to all the facilities. Other Things to NoteMake the most of the cafes and restaurants surrounding your apartment. We enjoy Le Cafe, but we frequent many others as well. Enjoy the Marlborough Sounds, with all the water facilities just across the road. Sample the glorious wines of the region.

Two Small children under 6 go free if Booking The Picton View Suite. A very generous three course breakfast is included in your tariff , special needs catered for. We have a disabled friendly room downstairs with its own private lounge and opens out onto a private (email hidden) is available for interested parties who like to go bush walking, deer shooting wild pig hunting and open sea fishing. The NeighborhoodWe have a very pleasant perfumed garden. Kippilaw House is a 10 minute stroll into the centre of Picton walking through a lovely Marina. We live in a well appointed safe neighbourhood close to excellent walking tracks that look out onto the Marlborough sounds. We are rated by the industry as 5***** and have lived up to that states Getting AroundThere is no public transport we offer a pick up and delivery service when required into Picton but are with in reasonable walking distance if preferred. Other Things to NoteBill and Margaret are professional Hospitality hosts of many years standing in Hotels, restaurants deli's and Bed and Breakfasts. We are professional caterers and still operate at the local Farmer Market every Sunday as Gourmet Deli from a 3.8 mtr covered trailer.

The Picton View Suite has an extra King bed with a double sofa bed in library for children under 6 who go free. 2 adults $50 extra each on sofa bed which includes breakfasts.. Picton is a small sea port town which is rapidly growing in popularity. Getting AroundWe have no Taxis but can order a shuttle service to get about, we collet and drop off guests at the Ferry and Train.     The SpaceMilton Cottage is a homely, sunny, two bedroom cottage in Picton, New Zealand. Picton is the gateway to Marlborough Sounds and the cottage is only five minutes from the ferry terminal connecting the North and South Islands of New Zealand. The room provided has a separate entry opening onto a small breakfast deck so you can have complete privacy if desired. Renovations have just been completed so guests now have their own bathroom and outdoor deck. The nightly rate includes a continental breakfast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt toast and tea or coffee. As the cottage is the hosts home the kitchen and the rest of the living space are not included as part of the BNB arangement. Excellent restaurants, cafes and bars are a ten minute walk away on Picton foreshore. Milton Cottage is a 25 minute drive from the famous Marlborough vineyards, cycleway and walkways of the Sounds. The Cottage sits between the Picton and Waikawa marinas and so is an excellent position for boaties needing some time on dry land close to boat and marina services. From the vantage point at the top of the Picton to Waikawa cycle/ walking track wonderful views of the Sounds can be taken in. Swimming is excellent at near- by beaches and walks are beautiful and accessible. The host is a fledgling ceramic artist with studio on site and will happily introduce guests to artists in Marlborough. Guest AccessGuests have access to their bedroom , deck and bathroom with their own key to come and go Interaction with GuestsI welcome guests and happily answer guests questions but generally leave them to have the privacy most prefer. As I live in the cottage and work from my living room space guests have to feel comfortable to eat breakfast from the tray provided either outdoors or if weather is cold or wet to eat in their bedroom. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is very quiet, leafy and green and within easy walking distance of the town. Getting AroundThere is a shuttle service, Picton Shuttles available from the ferry terminal to any part of Picton for guests who have luggage. the number for this service is at the Ferry terminal ticket counter. Other Things to NoteThere is plenty of off street parking below the cottage.

                The SpaceOur home has a separate 3 bedroom 2 bathroom guest wing which is separated from the main wing by a long hall/gallery. It has a small kitchenette for breakfast preparation so people can have privacy or join us as they wish. Native Birdsong is one of 3 options and is one Queen room with private ensuite. Guest AccessGuests are able to use all the facilities including the laundry, washing machine . We have 2 outdoor washing lines also. The guest wing has hairdryers in each bathroom and a shared iron and ironing board by the kitchenette. There are multiple exit doors so you can choose which way you arrive and park vehicles. Interaction with GuestsAlister and Sarah are available for help most of the time. They are happy to organise wine tours and helicopter or boat rides and fishing trips. We both work away from home so cannot at this time guarantee to cook a breakfast which is why we only offer a continental breakfast. The NeighborhoodWe have special places to eat in Picton and Blenheim and will advise you on arrival. Getting AroundWe are a couple of kilometres out of Picton but there is a really good local shuttle if we are not available to drive you. Including fishing trips, helicopter rides. wine tours and even massages for those weary after walking the Queen Charlotte track.

                The SpaceOur space is different because its a home not a hotel . We love having guests and learning about different places from our guests. Guest AccessIn our house you can access our upstairs lounge and the bathroom and toilet, if you want there is a laundry or I can do the laundry for you. There is also a balcony looking out at the front of the house. There is access to our garden area where the fruit trees are and seats just to sit and relax. Interaction with GuestsWe can put you on to the right people if your wanting to do walks or tramping sailing fishing or wine tours. etc We also provide dinner for a charge as I like cooking and baking. If you wanted to go on a picnic I also provide for a charge a picnic lunch which includes a bottle of wine. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is very quiet but we love it this way as we wake up to the sound of native birds. Getting Aroundwe are close to all amenaties the Ferry is five minutes away the centre of town is 5 mins away. a five minute walk will take you to a beautiful beach and marina with bar and restaurant . There is taxis available or shuttles. There are a lot of car rentals in Picton. The ferry is on our doorstep as is the airport. Sounds air have a shuttle which will pick you up or drop you off. Other Things to NoteWe have an Irishwolfhound as a pet hes a very gentle dog we take him around the schools to teach children how to approach a big dog, hes a pussy really. we also have a small white dog.
