We are the perfect stop for visitors passing by on Highway 101 – with easy freeway access, gas station, and gourmet deli nearby. Most importantly, our guests tell us that our double bed is very comfortable!
Shell Beach is a quaint community on California's Central Coast. This is a small town where the ocean is within walking distance no matter where you are. We love it here and feel very grateful to live in such a beautiful place. We live in a comfortable 1970's house in a quiet cul-de-sac a couple of blocks from the ocean. We are a short walk to nearby beach resorts where you can grab happy hour and watch one of our amazing sunsets. Or if you'd rather BYOB and picnic, you can walk to the beach or one of the nearby parks (and surf spot) a block away. We're also within walking distance to coffee shops, a brew house, authentic sushi, and a great little Mexican restaurant. Guest AccessYour private bathroom and shower is located across the hallway. You are welcome to use the kitchen and keep food in the fridge. Continental breakfast of coffee, tea, and muffins is provided. Help yourself to yogurt, creamer, milk, and beer on the top shelf of the fridge! Interaction with GuestsWe are a pretty active couple and are busy most weekends. We many not be home for check-in and if you're staying one night there is a chance we may not get to meet at all. BUT, if time allows we love hanging out and are more than happy to give lots of recommendations. The NeighborhoodWe live in a quiet family friendly neighborhood that's great for walks, sunsets, and watching surfers. We're within walking distance to several coffee shops, restaurants, bars, beach, a park to watch our gorgeous sunsets, and a great market.
Nearby activities include hiking, kayaking, surfing, biking, wine tasting – we are smack dab in the middle of wine country! We've highlighted all of our favorite hangouts in our Airbnb Guidebook!

Other than that Uber or a cab are your best bets if you don't have a car or don't feel like driving. Other Things to NoteWe kindly request that you do not park in the driveway. Instead, you'll find plenty of parking in the cul-de-sac along the street as you pull into the driveway (right side please).
