Both Katerina and Persa properties are ideal to be rented and shared among friends. We run our home on a photo-voltaic system grow our own vegetables, oranges, lemons, and this year we had 24 limes! our olive trees are coming along nicely too though not quite self sufficient it keeps us occupied! The bedrooms are set out as such that it is great for couples sharing or families that require a degree of privacy.         Luxury 2 bedroom apartment overlooking communal heated swimming pool. The apartment consists of a spacious kitchen containing all kitchen White Goods you are likely to require during your stay, along with a water cooler providing a separate supply of drinking water. There is an adequate supply of crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, serving dishes, coffee maker, toastie machine, blender, storage boxes and kitchen utensils. There is a large breakfast bar and four stools. The living room consists of 2 leather sofas, coffee table and flat screen TV and DVD. Broadband / Wi Fi is available. There are two large bedrooms with king size beds, bedside cabinets and lamps. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with ample hanging space including coat hangers. There is a large bathroom with bath / over shower. All doors and windows benefit from Fly Screens. Black out blinds are on all windows. The apartment is situated on a quiet, established complex that overlooks orchards and olive groves. There is a communal swimming pool which is heated during winter months and a number of sun beds are available around the pool area. The complex is suitable for all ages although does not provide any facilities for children.. POLIS Polis is a small village located in the National Park, in the Akamas Peninsula. This is an excellent area for walking, cycling, swimming, fishing, snorkelling and diving whilst retaining a very laid back way of life. The area provides ample shops for day to day food and living requirements. There are also Banks, Chemists, Opticians along with some local craft shops. There is also a museum. Within the village square there are a number of quality restaurant and cafĂŠ bars. Additional quality restaurants can be found in nearby Latchi. Polis Village is within easy walking distance of the the complex. Latchi is a 5 minute drive from the complex. Polis beach is around a 20 minute walk, through the orchards, via purpose built road. A walkway connects Polis Beach and Latchi Harbour. During the summer months many festivals are held in Polis and the surrounding area where local entertainment can be experienced. Prices are based on two bedroom use however discounts may be available where only one bedroom is required.

Of the two Larnaca is the larger. Airlines include Easyjet, British Airways, Monarch and Cyprus Airways. Norwgian operate flights from Scandinavia. Ryanair  fly out of London Stansted to Paphos. Further along the coast visit the Baths of Aphrodite where it is believed she came to bathe, a quiet and tranquil place to visit. Latchi Marina is about 8km from the property, here there is a variety of eating places where you must try the fish that has been caught that day and brought into the harbour. Or, sit in one of the harbourside restaurants/tavernas and just people watch. If you are feeling energetic try some of the water sports or take a trip on one of the glass bottom boats out along the Akamas Peninsula and see nature at its best, well worth the time and effort. Take your swimming costume though as the boat moors in a wonderful cove to allow you to swim or snorkel and take refreshments, normally provided. For those who enjoy the game of golf the closest course is Tsada Golf Club established in 1994, the first course designed by Donald Steel. Par 72 - 6,855 yards and located amongst vineyards, next to a 12th century monastery it is bathed in cooling sea breezes in the summer season. A short drive away is stunning Latchi Harbour, with an excellent choice of lovely restaurants on the front. Alternatively, you can drive to the tiny Pomos Harbour for peace and tranquillity. Dine al fresco on the apartment's private balcony, not overlooked, which boasts far-reaching views over the Akamas mountains. This apartment has the added advantage of two bathrooms (one with shower etc). A 20% non refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking with the balance to be paid six weeks prior to departure. Downstairs you find two twin bedrooms, second bathroom, living/dining room and kitchen. Outside is a very big mature garden with big trees, a 5 x 11 m swimming pool, terrace overlooking pool . It's a 5 minutes drive or a 20 minutes walk to the beach. The villa is fully licensed by the Cyprus Tourism Organization. Forty two kilometres from Paphos on the northern coast of the island is Polis, a more relaxed agricultural town in a green and rural setting with many small coffee shops and restaurants which serve genuine local dishes, not always just tourist fare. The coast here, stretching from the friendly village of Pyrgos in the east to the Baths of Aphrodite and Akamas Peninsula Nature Reserve in the west, is more remote and quite different from that on the southern side of Cyprus, with a series of sandy bays, rocky outcrops and mountains plunging into the sea. Fields of pecan, banana, peach, citrus, olive and tobacco surround many villages, and generally speaking tourism has not had a marked effect on this lovely area so far, with development only in one or two areas. High on a hilltop is Droushia with magnificently dizzy views to Polis and the sea. Although the villagers put themselves on the map by building their own hotel, the old rural life goes on exactly as before, with donkeys and dark-eyed oxen much in evidence. This is a peaceful and lovely haven, all the better for some very good tavernas. You can drive to Latchi with its fish restaurants and souvenir shops in about fifteen minutes, southwards through the vineyards to Peyia in twenty-five and about the same to Paphos on the old Polis road. Akourdhalia is a traditional village in the hills not far from Droushia, where village life carries on as it always has, unchanged for centuries. Well off the usual tourist circuit is Pyrgos, a sleepy uncommercialised fishing village and an ideal base from which to explore lovely unspoiled countryside, to visit Cedar Valley and (if you are lucky) glimpse the fleet and elusive wild mouflon. There are a couple of tavernas and coffee shops, banks, a post office and market. The village claims to boast the best climate in Cyprus and the sunsets here are dramatically spectacular. Very much an ethnic area with no bars or souvenir shops. Above Polis, on the way to the heavily wooded Paphos Forest are the traditional villages of Lysos and Peristerona. Watersports with instruction are available at Latchi throughout the summer. Here are excellent beaches of coarse sand or shingle, the sea is sparkling and clear and boat trips along the Akamas coast can be taken. The resort has swelled in recent years and now includes tourist shops, bars and banking facilities as well as the long established waterside fish tavernas. A little further west is Aphrodite's Beach (Asprokremos), a particularly good beach with a welcoming taverna. In the hills above nestles the large and pretty village of Neohorio (Latchi area), the gateway to the Akamas National Park and the starting point for some excellent walks. From here the views are spectacular. This is definitely a region for those seeking a more peaceful Cyprus, an area where a car is a necessity. Villa Anemone consists of two floors.                                   Prodromi Gardens is a small, select development situated between the coastal resorts of Polis and Latchi. With a commanding view of the sea and a magnificent mountain range backdrop, the property is ideal for just 'chilling out', or for the more adventurous, taking advantage of the nearby facilities for water sports, golf, trekking or exploring the miles of unspoilt beaches. Eating out locally is easy as there are numerous tavernas, bars and restaurants catering for a wide array of tastes and children are welcomed everywhere. Language should not be a problem either, as most Cypriots speak very passable English, although it is fun to try to pick up a few Greek phrases (especially the children) to impress friends and family upon your return home. If you choose to self cater for the whole stay there are many local shops/kiosks and two large well stocked supermarkets (from where we recommend that you try one of their delicious cakes for 'afternoon tea'). Driving in Cyprus is also easy as they drive on the left, as in the UK. The road signs are all in Greek and English and the roads on the whole are well maintained. Cycle hire is available for those of you who have some energy left and this is a wonderful way to view the breathtaking scenery. Troodos has craft shops and the lace and linenware is a must for gifts to take home. The monastery at Kykkos is well worth a visit but gentlemen please remember to wear long trousers! For winter sports fans - there is even a ski resort in the Troodos mountains during the winter season! The Akamas peninsula is a protected area of hills, valleys and rocky shores. There is a 30 metre pool at house A4 on the same site. Adjoining this pool is a children's pool where families can bathe in safety. A car will let you explore the coast and hills but for those who simply want to stay local the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. ÂŁ150 refundable security deposit. Cleaning and laundry at the end of your holiday is included in the cost but if you would prefer to have your cleaning and/or laundry done for you while you are there this can be arranged. ÂŁ50 non-refundable deposit to secure booking. Full payment one month in advance. For those looking for activities in addition to the pool, gym and jacuzzi there are many walking or cycling routes. The Akamas National Park is only a few miles away with dedicated trails etc. Full details of this and other local attractions are easily obtained fron the Tourist Office just off the "town square" where the main retaurants and shops are. Bikes etc are available for hire. Also within a kilometre or two are mini golf, go karting, ten pin bowling and Minthis Hills Golf Course is about thirty minutes away. A major pleasure of Cyprus is the food, not only the local variety but a full international selection. Polis is well catered for - literally. A large upper terrace offers a delightful place to relax and admire the lovely views over the rolling hills and unspoilt countryside, a perfect place to enjoy your sundowner and to watch the sun set over the Akamas Hills Polis This is the principal town for the region that is still untouched by the modern age, stroll along the ramshackle streets, enjoy a local coffee (if you're up to it!) in one of the many Tavernas. Chill and relax with a mouth watering Cypriot salad in the quaint town square and wonder where the day went. The town offers all the facilities you will need for your stay in this unspoilt part of Europe. For families there is a laid back beach with restaurant and bar set amongst eucalyptus groves, just watch you don't burn. Steni Steni is located between mountains and plains and much of the village history relates to the river that flowed across the community with five oil mills situated along its banks, the oldest dating back to the 16th century. The bridge that crossed the river connecting the two parts of the village was the meeting point for locals during the evenings, who would sit chatting while listening to the flow of the river. Even though the river no longer flows through the village, Steni still enjoys a laid back atmosphere. The village is evolving with the times but its developments are controlled so it still retains much of its natural charm and character. The open plan living area leads out to the large private patio, with a table, chairs & parasol, for al fresco dining. The development is in a very peaceful location, yet is only a 10 -15 minute walk from the Town Square, with all its cafes, restaurants and bars. There are several shops, a large supermarket, a bank and an internet cafe within a 5 minute walk. The property is ideally situated for exploring the countryside and beaches of the Akamas Peninsular as well as the surrounding hills, villages and monasteries. Latchi Marina, with all its great restaurants and tavernas, beach and water sport facilities, is a mere 3 kms by car. You can even walk there in 30 minutes along a coastal path starting at Polis Beach/Campsite. 20% non refundable deposit required to secure booking. A 'Welcome Pack' can be provided; please enquire for further details. Polis is a very traditional Cypriot town, whose 'heart' is the Town Square. The Square is a pedestrianised area of coffee shops, restaurants, tavernas, bars and a few shops. This area is only a 10 minute or so walk from the property, so it's very convenient to stroll there for a meal, or just for a relaxing drink, at any time of day. There is a plentiful choice of restaurants in Polis, serving a wide range of food, from traditional Cypriot fare, through to very good International dishes. A few of the restaurants worthy of mention are Moustakallis (very friendly), Finikas (pleasant atmoshere and good value 3 course meals), Archontariki (lovely garden setting, live music Fridays) & Arsinoe Fish Tavern (specialising in fresh seafood). But don't just stick to the area around the square. There are some terrific tavernas in the side streets, particularly going in the direction of the beach. These can offer really friendly hospitality, wonderful food and great value for money. Latchi Marina is only a short drive away and it has a whole array of restaurants, particularly specialising in locally caught fresh fish. At the Marina there is a very good diving school, a variety of water sports and you can hire a boat to explore the coastline of the Akamas Peninsula. If you drive beyond Latchi, look out for the signs for the Baths of Aphrodite, which has wonderful views over the bay. From back in Polis, if you head out towards Argaka, stop off at 'Lisa's Place', or the 'Halfway House', where you'll receive great hospitality and wonderful traditional food. Continue on the coast road and you'll come across the 'Fly Again' Irish Pub. Take a seat on the open decking overlooking the beach and the sea, and enjoy good food whilst keeping cool in the wonderful sea breeze. On alternate Sundays they serve a Sunday Roast & have live Jazz music at lunchtime. If you're looking for a round of golf, the nearest course is about 30 minutes drive from Polis at Tsada. The Tsada Golf Course' claim to fame is that it was the first 'grass' golf course in Cyprus, opening in 1994. The course is a 6855 yd par 72, said to be 'challenging' because of its sloping hills. It has a beautiful setting amongst vineyards and is next to a 12th century monastery. If you want to get out and about, but crave fresh air rather than the car, you can always try mountain biking. There are lots of bike trails around the Akamas, suitable for people of all abilities. There's a company on the Akamas who will offer guided bike tours, or you can go it alone and just hire a bike from them (safety gear included) which they'll even deliver to the property for free. A lovely 2 bedroom townhouse on a small development with a shared pool. Situated in a quiet & peaceful location on the outskirts of Polis. Local shops & a large supermarket are within 5 minutes walk. The Town Square with all its Restaurants & Bars is a 10 minute walk. Ideal area for relaxing, walking, cycling, exploring the hills & villages, water sports & enjoying good food

                                                            The Apartment Our home is in the Charapolis complex which fronts the coastal road of Latchi yet it is deep enough within the complex not to suffer from any noise of cars or night life. It is on the ground floor with a large veranda overlooking Akamas Peninsual and a side view to the sea. It has its very own barbeque area and clay oven. The high garden wall gives it privacy from its neighbours and the covered veranda provides both shade and cover from the apartments upstairs. A wooden table and seats for eating or playing around with your computer and sun beds for soaking up the sun. Perfect for relaxation, it is our most favourite spot especially in the evenings with the sea breeze sweeping away the heat of the day. The communal big swimming pool is very near for a quick dip to cool down and you can have a shower in the outside bathroom. The entire apartment is air-conditioned with Wi-Fi and satellite television. Latchi Area The picturesque harbour, the many tavernas serving everything from local specialities to standard meat and fish dishes. The supermarkets where you will find everything you need to cook your own barbeque or gourmet meals at home are right on our doorstep. As are the crystal clear waters of the Latchi beaches complete with sun beds, umbrellas, beachside pubs, water sports, boat rides and diving lessons. You do not need a car to reach any of these. The Region This is truly one of the most beautiful areas of the island. A car will allow you to discover the countless scenic spots within easy driving distance. Turn left and head upwards for the village of Neo Chorion on its breezy hillside with the many tavernas. Or downwards towards the Akamas peninsula, lovely beaches, aquamarine waters. Visit the mythical baths of Aphrodite and walk on the cliffs of Akamas - an area that inspired legends. Turn right and head for the little town of Polis. A small walking area fronted by quaint pubs, ice cream parlours, cafes and more tavernas. It also boasts a small shopping area. Well worth more than one visit. Further left is a different kind of coast, long beaches perfect for a stroll at sunset. Jagged rocky shoreline, small relatively unspoilt villages. Pubs and seaside restaurants aplenty. The large town of Paphos is a short 35 minute scenic drive away. It is cosmopolitan and buzzing with life all the year round with many cultural events including the yearly open air opera in early September which is held at the ancient castle area right on the harbour and attracts its audience not only from Cyprus but also from the whole region. Paphos is the mythical birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty. In Greco-Roman times Paphos was the island's capital and is full of archaeological sites to visit among which the famous Mosaics, the Tombs of the Kings, Courium, the Temple of Apollo and many others The town of Paphos is included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage.
