The SpaceThis is a great space with a Latin America flavor. The apartment includes a full bed in the bedroom and a futon in the living room, which converts to a full bed if needed. In addition, you have a full kitchen at your disposal. Guest AccessI will be available for guests as they arrive to show the apartment and the common areas of the house, and to explain the points of interest around the area.
Breakfast is provided, and on occasions if I am at the house, I could prepare something especial for them, but guest would have available cereal, bread, coffee, and juice in the apartment's kitchen so they can prepare their own breakfast. Interaction with GuestsI retired last year after being a teacher and a school administrator for 28 years. Now, I have remodeled the house with the purpose of being able to offer guests a nice stay. I am well read, well educated, I have traveled a few countries in Europe and in Central and South America, and I love to meet new people and learn about their countries and culture. I am constantly seeking to improve myself, I am active in my church, and my passion is to seek new ways on how to help the under served in this world. I will be available to guest for directions, suggestions, and even introduction to local people if they are interested in being more than tourists. The NeighborhoodLindsay is a unique city because it is known for the cultivation and packing of oranges of many kinds. In March and April, the entire area smells of orange blossom, as the orange trees are blooming. This is an agricultural area, and beside the cultivation of oranges, you will find almond, olive, pistachio, and many other types of trees. Getting AroundGuests can park their cars in the back of the house where there is plenty of space. Public transportation is poor in this area, therefore I do not recommend it as a way to get around. I will prepare for each guest, a list of places of interest around the area along with its distance from the house. Other Things to NoteMy house is in the country side of the Central Valley, California; a valley known for its agricultural contributions to the rest of the country and the world. I live about 45 minutes from the Sequoia National Park, about 25 minutes from the Kaweah Lake, and 2 1/2 to 3 hours from Los Angeles.
