Soak up the morning sun and have a Cypriot breakfast around the large wooden table on the side terrace, enjoy the barbecue and traditional kleftiko oven in the outdoor kitchen area or watch the sun set over the hills as you sip a chilled glass of local wine! In addition to the generous terrace, the house also has a good-sized garden planted with herbs, pomegranate trees and of course vines. The garden is securely fenced and has a lockable gate to ensure total privacy. Facilities Double glazing and wooden window shutters throughout help keep this stone-built house cool. Please note there is no air-conditioning but floor fans can be provided on request. Heating, washing machine, dish-washer. Neighbourhood The Vineyard House is located just outside the village of Mallia at the heart of Limassol’s wine region. You can take a short walk into Mallia, a small peaceful village with a traditional coffee shop or “kafeneio” that also serves food, there is also a winery which is open to visitors. 5 minutes-away drive away is the village of Vasa which boasts two excellent tavernas and an award-winning boutique winery which is well-worth a visit. Also 5 minutes-drive is the larger village of Omodhos with its medieval monastery, cobbled square and twisting alleyways. Omodhos is a very popular place to visit for tourists and locals alike, there are a plethora of wineries offering tours and tastings, gift shops selling locally-produced handicrafts, a wide range of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and tavernas with live music events in the evenings. There is also a small supermarket and a bakery where they make traditional local bread. Mallia lies equidistant between the mountain resort of Platres and the port city of Limassol so is a great base for exploring the island. Heading down the wine route you reach Erimi in around 20 minutes, the village is home to the island’s wine museum. The nearby village of Episkopi offers a large supermarket and a number of taverns and bars. A further 5 minutes’ drive along the coast and you will reach the ancient city state of Kourion with its fascinating archaeological remains and Curium Beach which is popular with swimmers, windsurfers and kite surfers, there are three beach restaurants serving food and drinks. Public Transport Public transport is extremely limited, particularly in rural areas. We highly recommend that guests hire a car from our recommended suppliers to make the most of their stay in this area. Taxis, rural taxis and shared taxis are available, but would need to be booked in advance. The total price of this apartment includes crisp white cotton linen for three bedrooms and fluffy white cotton towels for six people. 5* hotel standard cleaning is a must for all our properties, but if you require extra… Mid stay cleans or a change of linen and towels this can be paid for during the booking process in ADDITIONAL EXTRAS. All our properties have the same high quality linen so you can be rest assured of the same YNA standard every time you stay with us. The official check in time is 3.00pm. The official check out time is 10.30am. Early Check In... We try to be as flexible as possible and if you arrive early and the property is free and prepared we can check you in early. If this is before 9.00am there is a 30 Euro surcharge. If your property is mid-preparation we will let you drop your luggage at your property and let you know as soon as it is ready. Late Check In... Please note for guest arrivals at all accommodation there is a 30 Euro charge for arrivals between 9pm and before 10.30pm and a 50 Euro charge for arrivals between 10.30pm and midnight. (Unfortunately we cannot waiver this fee for any type of delay including delayed flights and traffic issues) Please note we cannot accept arrivals after 12.00am/ midnight. In the case of delayed flights please inform us if you cannot arrive within the check-in time limit of 12.00 am/ midnight and we will arrange to meet you at a convenient time the next morning. PLEASE NOTE: YNA International can provide a letter for your insurance company stating you could not spend the first night in your booked accommodation due to an unacceptably delayed flight. Notify us of your arrival time... Please note: you must inform your Local Manager of you arrival time within 48 hours of arriving by inputting this in the Guest Lounge or by emailing. You must notify your Local Manager if you intend to change your arrival time. If you do not notify your Manager of a change of arrival time a 30 Euro surcharge will apply at your meet and greet. Late Check Out... Again, if we do not have an arrival that day or we do not need immediate access to prepare the accommodation for the next guest we allow you to check out at your leisure that day. If you do not check out at the specified time please understand there will be a £30 charge. Please Note: If a guest does not pay the surcharge for a late or early arrivalat check in then this amount will be charged to your credit card plus a £15 administration fee.If you do not check out at the specified time then the surcharge will be automatically be charged to your credit card. Arrivals after midnight... Please note we cannot accept arrivals after 12.00am/ midnight. In the case of delayed flights please inform us if you cannot arrive within the check-in time limit of 12.00 am/ midnight and we will arrange to meet you at a convenient time the next morning. Informing us of your arrival time... You will receive an email with a link to our Guest Lounge where you can set your unique password. Click on the link or copy and paste the link into your browser. You can then advise us of your arrival time. Getting the address and keys to your property... You will also recieve an arrival email which will have the address of your chosen property and the Managers name and contact number who will meet you at check in. We ask you to complete and submit in plenty of time so we know what time you want to check in. The Local Manager will meet you at the property and give you a warm and informative welcome to your new home and to the local area. Then we hand over the keys and let you enjoy your stay.
