From the Great River Road Visitor & Learning Center in Freedom Park in Prescott, you can clearly see the line where the blue waters of the St. Croix join the dun-colored Mississippi. The Visitor Center is a fabulous introduction to the Upper Mississippi region using interactive exhibits, satellite maps, even an animated eagle to educate and fascinate.
