The SpaceThere are two 3-bedroom apartments on the property both offering something unique to our guests. One of our units is tailored to provide wheel-chair access without being imposing while the other 3 bedroom 2 bathroom villa offers a large upstairs deck with a private barbeque grill and outdoor lounge chairs for sunbathing. The 3-bedroom units are spacious and comfortable. They both have jacuzzis in the master bathrooms and a second full bathroom which is shared between the other two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a queen sized bed while there are double beds in the other two bedrooms and an optional pull-out bed if requested. Our charming open floor-plan allows the large, fully equipped and well stocked kitchen to flow into the living and dining areas. The furniture is comfortable and Caribbean while the décor is brightly coloured and reflective of the true Barbadian experience. The 3-bedroom villas are fully air-conditioned and satellite television is available on our large screen televisions. There is daily housekeeping. Internet access available to all guests.     The SpaceOur three bedroom, traditional beach house is perfect for a holiday in paradise. Made of coral lime stone, with shuttered windows, wooden flooring and solar panel heated water. The house is situated on "Little Welches" Beach and crystal blue Caribbean Sea. Enjoy the breezy garden with shade from the coconut and frangipani trees. In the evenings relax on the back veranda and watch the sun set, while the turtles swim in the waves. (On a few special occasions we have enjoyed watching the journey of hundreds of baby sea turtles as they make their way into the ocean for the first time). Guest AccessTHE BEACH - Guests have access onto "Little Welches" Beach from the garden. (Although all beaches are public in Barbados, Little Welches is a mile long, quiet beach, which is used only by the residents with property along the beach). THE GARDEN - Guests can enjoy our breezy garden, shaded by the coconut and frangipani tree's. We have sun chairs and tables for BBQ's or lounging in the garden. The NeighborhoodLocated in the heart of Oistins, the property is within walking distance of the local fish market. On a Friday night it becomes the "Fish Fry", where you will find locals and tourists enjoying great BBQ fish, cold beer, music and dancing. The sights and smells are terrific and the people are friendly. Also within walking distance (two minutes from the house), is a local supermarket, petrol station, cab company and post office. Just a short car journey from the house are an abundant amount of restaurants, bars and nightlife, all ranging from traditional Barbadian "rum shacks" to fine dining establishments. Some favorites are "Pisces" and "Waterside" in St Lawrence Gap. Getting AroundThere are many cab companies. Cabs are readily available at anytime. There is a very reliable bus system, or "z vans" (which is a smaller public mini van service) which is available all over the island. Other Things to NoteThe airport and capital city, Bridgetown, are both a 15 minute drive from the house.

Barbadians, the inhabitants of Barbados, are friendly but not intrusive. Just a few hundred meters is a small kiosk where you can quickly stock up on refreshments or a small snack. A huge supermarket (Massy Stores Supermarket) with a wide variety of local and many other products can be found in less than 2 kilometers down the hill at Warrens Roundabout. Getting AroundRenting a car is highly advisable so that you can independently explore the island. Nevertheless, there are plenty of opportunities to use public transport. It is worthwhile to take a bus or large taxi that brings one for little money to the other end of the island.       The SpaceThis apartment is in a safe neighborhood & close to the University of the West Indies. This is a self-contained apartment - one unit part of a larger townhouse complex (4 buildings, 8 units total) & unlike many of the other listings in the area this apartment is located in a tranquil upscale neighborhood & is not connected to the landlord's house. Apartment in gated townhouse complex, full laundry, patio, BBQ & beach gear (umbrella, chairs, cooler, raft, bocce ball, paddle ball, snorkel equipment). If I am in island - of course I will come to meet you! Most of the time I will not be there as I travel frequently and I rent it when I am out of the island. I am always available via email and by phone as well. Also I will provide you a list of other local contacts (my landlord, taxi man as well as the numbers of some of neighbors & friends in the area) in case you need anything or have any questions during your stay! Quiet & serene yet close to west coast & amenities. Close to the University of the West Indies, West Terrace School and Holders Hill, St James. Bus #3 is very close (less than 3 min walking) to the apartment but I strongly recommended that you rent a vehicle to get around as the apartment is not on the main bus route. You can rent a car from a local rental agency or perhaps my personal jeep. I have a local taxi man that can pick you up from airport or for use during your stay. He is an honest guy & good friend of mine as well! I will have in apartment a list & map of my favorite places & things to do in Barbados to help make your stay in Barbados great!!!                                     Caribbean sea front two bedroom apartment located on the prestigous Barbados west coast in the Parish of St James. Located on a small cliff buff this has some of the best views in Barbados with 180째 views of the beautiful Caribbean Sea from all 3 balconies and roof terrace. The apartment comprises of two air conditioned en-suite bedrooms (one with a double queen size bed and one with two single beds), both have sea views and one has a balcony overlooking the sea. Air conditioned Lounge with balcony overlooking the sea, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar, powder room and balcony off the dining area with seating overlooking the sea. Spiral staircase goes down to the bedrooms and a spiral staircase goes up to the roof deck. The roof deck is a round open terrace equiped with 4 sun loungers, small side tables, parasol and is very private. Direct access to the sea can be made via stone steps leading directly into the shallow sea. A tidal beach is sometimes in front of the apartment depending on the time of year, but the beautiful white sandy beach of Batts Rock Bay and Paradise Beach can be accessed by walking through the shallow sea or a 2 minute walk from the apartment. Parking for one car is available directly outside the apartment entrance. Coralita has wonderful views of the cruise ships arriving in the morning and departing in the evening, catamaran cruises stop daily in the bay directly in front of the apartment and jet ski's can be flagged down for hire. The West coast is spoilt for choice with an abundance of fine and casual restaurants. Holetown is just 3 miles away whilst the prestigous Sandy Lane Resort is just 1 mile away. A rental car is recommended although there is a bus stop outside the apartment that can be used for going along the West Coast to Holetown, restaurants or Bridgetown. From the time you arrive at Coralita, you can't help but relax, chill out and watch the world go by with all the activity on the sea. The apartment is serviced two mornings a week which comprises of cleaning and changing the bed linen and towels. Due to the spiral staircase and steps down to the sea, this would not be suitable for children under the age of 10 or anyone with mobility difficulties.
