The house is approx. 100-years old in Historic Federal Hill, is insulated, and this apartment has many new windows. A full-size bed (for 2 people), night stand, and chest of drawers in one bedroom; and a single-sized bed (for one person), a desk, and chest of drawers in the second bedroom, both bedrooms have closets, the apartment has one bathroom. The living room has a love seat (not a sleeper) and chairs, and free Wi-Fi access is included. The spacious eat-in kitchen is supplied with the basics and is equipped with a gas range/oven and full-size refrigerator. The kitchen has a pantry closet and an attached galley-style kitchen area. Central heat (gas heated hot water baseboards) keep the apartment toasty in the cooler months, and an A/C window unit keeps the apartment cooler in the warmer months. If the calendar is marked with some dates that are unavailable during the period of time you wish to visit, please ask me about it as I might be able to make it possible for you. The apartment is located just steps from the Downcity area of Providence and walking distance to the infamous Atwells Avenue, fantastic restaurants, cafes, shops, museums, theater and arts district (Providence Performing Arts Center PPAC and Trinity Repertory Co., AS220, etc.), Providence Place Mall, etc. The WaterFire free event, typically held various weekends in Providence during the months of May through November, and named one of America’s Top 100 Artistic Events, is a big hit bringing out thousands of spectators, and is within walking distance. Staying in Federal Hill is a perfect destination for business people, vacation travelers, college students, as well as visitors to Brown University, Johnson & Wales University, Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Providence College, and other schools in the area. Providence is a highly desirable destination during Thanksgiving, Christmas and the holiday season, and during university graduations and other festivities. Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence is the location of the renowned Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular during the month of October.

RIPTA city bus station at Kennedy Plaza and Amtrak/MBTA train station are both conveniently located downtown. "Peter Pan Bus Lines" is nearby (with stops at Kennedy Plaza). Many of the main City streets have marked bicycle lanes.
