The SpaceWe have a private comfy room within our apartment, with its own entrance and with its own private bathroom! the room is located by the living room which is barely used. The whole section is sectioned off with doors that make way into the other side of the apartment making it entirely private. The room itself has a new bed frame, a new full sized memory foam mattress perfect for two guests, new pillows and sheets/bedding. There's also a closet and dresser, and two windows which beautifully let in natural sunlight. Guest AccessOur guests will have access to the shared living room, which has a lovely smart tv that they are welcome to use. Of course our guest has access to the wifi, their own set of keys. Interaction with GuestsWe respect out guests privacy entirely as well as ours. We are thoroughly committed on helping our guest with anything they might need, and the guest can always reach us via Airbnb messages. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is conveniently equipped with all of the essential places you might need. We have two supermarkets only two-three blocks away. A laundry mat a block away. A very tasty Colombian Bakery, and dollar store at the corner along with a public library at the opposite corner. There are many restaurants in the area, and a lot of "deli's" and "bodegas"/ convenience store. There's a United States post office within a 5 minute walk, and we're 6 blocks away from Junction boulevard, which is a boulevard in which you can find anything you might need like pharmacies, banks, and a bus line that takes you along the boulevard to Laguardia Airport, the train station/MTA, or the mall/ shopping centers. Getting AroundThe train station is located 10-15 minutes walking from our house. This is the 'Junction Blvd' stop on the convenient 7 train line, this train will take you directly to the iconic 42nd Street Times Square, Bryant Park, Port Authority Bus Terminal in approximately 45 minutes, even less when you take the the express line. At the opposite direct this same train will take you to the also very well known Flushing Meadow Park, World Fair Marina, USTA National Tennis center (where the U.S Open is held annually), and Citi Field! the home of the New York Mets. We're a few blocks away from a bus that will take you to and from Laguardia Airport. Other Things to NoteOur family is extremely thrilled about going off on this venture. After backpacking through Ecuador for a month, I found myself incredibly content after continuously staying in the homes of amazing families that only looked out for me and always made me feel at home. Those experiences solely inspired me to get back home and involve my parents with the plan and idea to turn our spare bedroom into a place where guest can arrive. With that we went out and bought a new bed frame a new comfy full sized memory foam mattress, new sheets and pillows. Again we're throughly happy about offering all that we can to those who are visiting the Big Apple!
