The SpaceOur 3 BR vacation rental sleeps up to 7 people. You'll have your own, private apartment with a separate entrance, which is accessed through the back of the house.
In the vacation suite there are 2 large bedrooms, with 3 twin beds each (2 can be pushed together to make a King sized bed, King sheets are available). And there's I small bedroom with a twin bed. All beds are Tempur-Pedic mattresses.
Every room is awash in sunlight since each has lots of windows. Each room also has recessed lights and a ceiling fan.
The bedrooms each have at least one dresser and an ample closet, with shelves and hanging rods. Freshly laundered sheets and stacks of towels await you, the latter stacked on shelves in the mudroom right by your entrance. The yellow bedroom also has a full size washing machine and dryer tucked behind closet doors.
The apartment has a newly renovated, modern full bathroom, with lovely contemporary vanity (with lots of storage) and a stall shower.
The roomy Living Room/dining area has a new L-shaped, comfortable couch, brand-new compact refrigerator & microwave, Keurig beverage maker and is stocked with supplies.
We provide you with light breakfast foods and snacks, which will be stored in the compact refrigerator and sideboard. If you want something more substantial, take a leisurely walk (or very short drive) to Main Street, where there are lots of restaurants and cafes.
This little slice of Westhampton Beach heaven is south of the highway and a short walk to houses of worship.
Included in the apartment are: cable TV, WIFI, Apple TV, compact refrigerator, microwave and Keurig hot beverage brewer. Also full-size washer and dryer.
Outside is: ½ acre back yard fenced in with a small pond. We can provide a Weber charcoal grill. Swing away a lazy day in the hammock, shaded by tall trees. Enjoy eating at the outside dining table and chairs.
Afterward, walk around the corner to the inlet/creek to see ducks and geese and fish and beautiful sunsets.
No smoking anywhere on the premises and no pets, please.

Interaction with GuestsI am always available by email and phone should you have any questions before or during your stay. There will be a guide to Westhampton Beach in your vacation rental, with information about local amenities, restaurants and beaches, shopping, area athletic facilities and more. The NeighborhoodWesthampton Beach is a gem all year round. In the summer you are close to really great white sand beaches along Dune Road. Public parking is available.
There are many other great things to do in the area. Westhampton Beach's main street is really charming. There are cute boutiques and good restaurants. Our favorite is Beach Bakery Cafe, which has soups, eggs and sandwiches, plus an excellent bakery. Their chocolate-dipped macaroons are to die for! We also like Goldberg's Bagels, for bagels and egg sandwiches, salads and more. Main Street also has an excellent bookstore, a nice card shop which also sells some kids toys and art supplies, a place to buy t-shirts etc...and art galleries.
On Saturday in season there's a truly wonderful farmer's market at the edge of town (behind the supermarket).
In town is a movie theater showing current flicks. In Hamton Bays, the next town over, is a 6-screen theater if you want more options. Westhampton Beach also has a good Performing Arts Center right on Main Street, and in the summer frequently has art and crafts fairs downtown.
If you want to venture a little further afield, Splish Splash water park is nearby. So is the Tanger Riverhead outlet center.
The excellent Parrish modern art museum is about a 20 minute drive away, and conveniently located right next to a winery which has an excellent tastings menu and live music.
Near the house are the Westhampton Beach High School athletic fields, with several tennis courts, a basketball court, track around a football field where you can play soccer, too, and a playground.
Within walking distance is the Quogue Nature Preserve, a lovely place to go, with wildlife and walking trails on level ground of various lengths.
If you like to boat, you can rent kayaks right on Dune Road (where the beaches are), on the bay side. Or do what we did last summer, and go on a historical tour with a local kayak outfitter and enjoy the day on beautiful Accabonac Bay in Springs/East Hampton, past Jackson Pollock's house and studio. Getting AroundA local bus travels through the main parts of area towns. We are about 3 miles from the Westhampton Beach stop on the Long Island Rail Road, and there are a couple of local taxi services always available.
Bikes can be rented just down the road from our house. On wheels you can bike to the beaches and to town. Other Things to NoteThe top half of the house is our weekend getaway. We may be on premises or not, or in and out, but are always available by email and phone/text.
