The SpaceThis is a one-bedroom apartment with one full bathroom, a kitchen, and a living area that will comfortably fit two people. The furnishings are very minimal.
Bedroom: The bedroom has one queen-size bed with a Tempurpedic mattress. There will be five pillows available. The sheets are freshly washed, and there are extra blankets available should you need them. There is space available in the dresser and the closet to store your clothes.
Bathroom: The bathroom contains one shower, one sink, one toilet, and one mirror (not full length). Feel free to store your toiletries under the sink if you wish. The towels hanging on the door hooks and on the towel rack are clean. Should you need more towels, you will find them in the linen closet. Please use whatever towels you'd like and put the used ones in the laundry basket in the bedroom. Also please feel free to use any of the bath products and/or toiletries that you find in the shower or under the sink (shampoo, conditioner, soap, new razors, cotton balls, Q-tips, etc...). I only ask that you put everything back where you found it.
Kitchen: The kitchen has a range, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator/freezer, a dish washer, and a coffee maker. Dishes and silverware are available for your use, as are pots, pans, bakeware, and cooking utensils. The refrigerator and freezer will most likely be empty, so if you wish to utilize them you'll have to stock them yourself. The kitchenette area has a small square table with three chairs. You will also find a small ironing board and an iron in the corner of the kitchenette area.
Living area: The living area contains one three-person couch, two end tables, a coffee table, and a desk. THERE IS NO WORKING TV. I do, however, have wireless internet. There is a balcony. Guest AccessGuests will have access to all of the things listed in "The Space", above. If you find it in my apartment, feel free to use it. Interaction with GuestsI will be present for "check-in" and "check-out". Other than that, you'll have the place all to yourselves. The NeighborhoodThere's a bowling alley and a bar across the street. There is a grocery store (HyVee) very nearby. It is a low-crime area. Getting AroundThe apartment is located about 2 minutes from the L-street I-80 interstate exit. MapQuest says it takes 16 minutes to get to the Century Link Center (downtown Omaha) from the apartment. Other Things to Note- I own a cat, but he will NOT be at the apartment while you are staying. Neither will his litter box. However, if you are allergic to cats, I do not recommend renting this space. The space will be vacuumed, dusted, and all of the linens cleaned prior to your arrival, but if you have allergies to cats I do not suggest staying at my apartment
- This space is scantly furnished and decorated.
