The SpaceWhat makes our space unique is that it is connected to a fabulous restaurant and bar where you can enjoy lunch and/or dinner Wednesday-Sunday. We are also just 20 minutes from MASS MOCA in N. Adams, 20 minutes from ZOAR kayaking in Charlemont andn 20 minutes to Wilmington and 25 to Mt. Snow area. And being 20 minutes from everywhere means you are somewhat in the middle of nowhere and that means peace and quiet amongst the Green Mountains of Vermont. Guest AccessFree wi-fi. Keurig coffee. While formally listed as a bed and breakfast, we only offer coffee. Muffins served on holiday weekends. Interaction with GuestsDepends on when I am working in the restaurant and bar. You can come and stay with us and not see me at all, with your own private entrance or you can come to the restaurant and bar and chances are you will find me and I would love to chat with you. The NeighborhoodIf you blink, you will miss Readsboro, which is a good thing. We are a tiny town in Vermont but with all you need-- our Inn, our restaurant and bar. There is also a general store/gas station in town. And there is a cute little breakfast place too with great food. What more could you want! Getting AroundThere is the free Vermont MOOVER which picks up directly across the street from the Inn, twice a day. Other Things to NoteFor winter skiing, we are just 25 minutes to Mount Snow (in West Dover, VT) 30 Minutes to Berkshire East (Charlemont, Mass). One hour to Stratton Mountain. (Manchester, VT)

The SpaceLocated right off Route 100 in Heartwellville VT, this home offers access to both southern VT, and the northwest corner of Mass. Willamstown is close by, as well as MASS MOCA 15 minutes away in N. Adams. Also, Manchester Vt is full of quality outlets, and is only about a 45 minute drive. Summer's coming, and that's the nicest time of the year here. Cool breezes on our south facing deck. Plenty of Vermont's nicest natural attractions close by. Harriman Reservoir, Mount Snow, Bennington Monument and more. Step out the back door, and your ready to hike in the Green Mountain National Forest. The home is well maintained with a clean bath, 1 dbl bed in 1st bedroom, and 1 pull-out couch in second bedroom, plus futon and couch in living room. WIFI, microwave, Streaming netflix & Local TV Channels, gas fireplace. Supermarket, Shopping (Walmart - small shops), and movies all within 15 minutes in North Adams MA. General store with gas, and VT liquor outlet 5 minutes south. The beauty of Vermont, with all the conveniences close by. Guest AccessWasher and Dryer on site. Good, reliable wi-fi. Cozy cottage with complete privacy on 142 acres and borders Monroe State Forest. Cottage offers 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, large living room, eat in kitchen, deck with grill, TV and DVD. Hiking and biking is available right outside your door. The Dunbar Brook Trail boasts great hiking and a grove of Old Growth White Pine and Yellow Birch trees. Night star gazing is amazing in this area. The cottage is located 15 minutes from downtown North Adams/Williamstown in Monroe Bridge where there are many cultural activities to include Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Arts (MassMOCA), Clark Art Museum, Williamstown Theater Festival, to name a few. Monroe boasts the Deerfield River where there are many opportunities for outdoor adventures; such as kayaking, white water rafting, canoeing, or tubing for all skill levels. Zoar Outdoor and CrabApple Whitewater Rafting are 2 of the outfits that run water adventures in the area. Zip Line adventures are also available nearby at Zoar Outdoor or Berkshire East Ski Area. Berkshire East also has a new mountain coaster. There are many opportunities to go out and do things or just sit and enjoy the quiet. We are 5 1/4 miles north of the historic Mohawk Trail (Route 2) which will take you West to North Adams/Williamstown or East to Charlamont/Shelburne. The Mohawk Trial is well known as a destination for picturesque mountain views as well as fall foliage drives. We are located on a dead end road with 5 homes located on the road but offering privacy from one another. There are many activities both adventurous and cultural. It is a great place to sit and relax, read a book, or go out for a bike, a hike or an adventure. There is room for 2-3 cars in the private driveway and a large yard. A car is a MUST in this area as there is no public transportation available.

The SpaceOur home has been renovated. It is an old post and bam farm house and the ceiling beams have been exposed. It is somewhat of an open floor plan on the main level with a wood burning stove (with window). So cozy in the winter time. The property is just of four acres and has a stocked catch and release pond with a gazebo. All who enter feel immediately at home and cozy. Guest AccessOur living spaces are shared with our guests. We have a TV, but stream our programming with a ROKU. We have subscriptions to Amazon Prime and Net Flix. Our guest may also walk the property in summer or snow shoe in the winter. The kitchen and dining area are available also. Interaction with GuestsOne of us is available nearly all the time for any questions. The NeighborhoodAlthough there are a few neighbors you can only see one other home from our windows. Across the road is national forest. It is truly a piece of heaven on a relatively quiet back road. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation close by and we have ample parking in our driveway. Other Things to NoteDon is an avid fisherman and is willing to organize fishing excursions to local rivers, ponds and lakes. Jane is an artist and can offer watercolor safaris for the day or weekend. The Space3 country bedrooms, master has on suite full bath, living room, dining room, kitchen, full bath down stairs, deck, and 3 season porch. Guest AccessMake yourself at home, all linens, sheets, full kitchen, bring your own food, but the basics are there for you, full use of home, pet yard, litter box, well is pristine, 1868 house, original well delicious water, icy cold, house is cozy, very comfortable, you'll like it! THIS IS A SMOKE FREE HOME, SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE HOME NOR ON THE PROPERTY. Interaction with GuestsI am available by text, by phone, I work out of town so I am unable sometimes to be home when you are there, my neighbors will greet you and tend to your needs. The NeighborhoodPanoramic mountain views are beautiful, I have never tired of looking at them in 28 years. My neighbors are friendly and my town is terrific. I have enjoyed being a member of Readsboro, people are great! Getting AroundParking is in the driveway. There isn't any public transportation. The nearest airport is Albany, New York. Other Things to NoteMy home is near the Massachusetts border so enjoying the Berkshire is something I've always done. Lee, Lenox, Stockbridge, Williamstown, are all near, as well, Bennington, Willmington, Brattleboro, to enjoy. I've always loved how my home is so assessable, easy to get to civilization, and yet still enjoy beautiful, peaceful, Vermont. I love Vermont, as I am sure you will too!

4 bedrooms/2 bath home plus bonus room that sleeps up to 13 people. House was build in 1850 and backs up to the Green Mountain National forest. Relax on the front porch and watch the hummingbirds while drinking coffee. Only minutes away from Wilmington Vt, Mount Snow and local spoonwood creamery and Honora winery. Take a picnic and swim or boat at Ward's Beach or go fishing in one of several local brooks or lakes. Snowmobile, hike or ATV from front porth to well maintain trails for hundreds of miles. Deer, wild turkeys, fox, geese, ducks, hummingbirds, etc. found regularly on this property. Wonderful place to see the beautiful stars without the city lights.
