The Space A short distance from over 1 million acres of Federal Wilderness. The scenic Beartooth Highway and Yellowstone National Park are nearby. Unobstructed panoramic views of the Beartooth Mountain Range. 23 private and pristine acres adjacent to a 30,000 acre ranch. Wildlife. Wildflowers. Spring fed ponds. Glorious sunrises and breathtaking sunsets. Guest AccessEverything on the property. Access from the property to adjacent State & Federal lands. Interaction with GuestsKeys to the property are located at the site. I can be reached by cell phone at anytime. Detailed instructions about the Airstream and the property are provided in the House Manual section once you book your stay. The NeighborhoodA rustic slice of heaven located at the base of the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountain Range, where the Custer National Forest, 1 million acres of Federal Wilderness, and a 30,000 acre ranch are your backyard. Easy access to some of the most beautiful hiking you will ever find on State and Federal land. Mountain biking trails and great fishing also nearby. The former mining town of Red Lodge is only 8 miles away on Highway 78. We often grab a couple growlers (64 oz.) of beer at Red Lodge Ales to enjoy with dinner as we watch the sunset over the mountains and the adjacent ranch. Peaceful. Relaxing. Getting AroundYou will need a vehicle to reach the property. The county road as well as the road leading directly to the property are accessible with a standard vehicle. Other Things to NoteIn order to truly experience this property as intended, you should enjoy camping and being out in the country. The Airstream is your "basecamp to the Beartooths" and is intended to provide shelter from the elements, clean and comfortable beds to sleep on in a sleeping bag at night, and a large table to eat meals at. The Airstream has all the amenities you will need: air conditioning, a large RV fridge with freezer, a microwave oven, a drip coffee maker, a toaster oven, table fans, and lamps/night lights throughout the trailer. There is a strong well with clean mountain water for drinking, cooking, cleaning. Good cell service available with Verizon. The interior of the Airstream provides numerous electrical outlets throughout for charging your cell phone/laptop, etc. Storage space provided above and below the beds in the rear bedroom for belongings. The 12V system in the Airstream does not currently work so there is no running water inside the trailer. There is a separate and private bathroom/toilet in mid section of the Airstream that is functional but you will need to bring water in from the well. The front area/bed and back beds can each be partitioned off for privacy with a retractable curtain. I provide a propane fired Zodi shower + Pahaque privacy tepee with floor drain so that a hot shower is available at the end of the day after hiking/mountain biking/fishing/sightseeing or in the morning before you begin your adventures. I provide 3 sleeping bags - 1 for each of the beds in the rear of the trailer and 1 for the bed in the front of the trailer. These bags are very comfortable and designed for more moderate temperatures so you won't be too warm when using them. Also provided are lounge chairs and a table for enjoying meals outside on the property while taking in the breathtaking mountain views. I provide my Guests access to camping equipment if they would prefer to prepare their meals outdoors. This equipment includes a small propane fueled Webber grill for grilling, a Coleman cook stove for heating water for cooking/cleaning/preparing meals on, and a Coleman workstation to work on when preparing meals, washing dishes, hanging towels to dry, etc. There is a 10% Lodging Tax that I am required to collect for each night of your stay (7% to the State Of Montana & 3% to Carbon County Montana). This is in addition to the base rate.

It became the project managers home during this historic undertaking in highway building. The Rendezvous offers a true sanctuary to one family or multiple families. Many use the home as a gathering point for reunions, celebrations, workshops and retreats. The kitchen is well appointed, roomy and the counter is enriched with 4 bar stools for all to gather. Here is a galley where it is rare to utter "Get out of the kitchen!" The dining area is conveniently close to the kitchen. With the lodge pole ceilings, wagon wheel chandelier, a nice art collection, comfortable furniture and a stunning hearth, the great room is, well, great. It is a place you'd expect to have a brandy with Teddy Roosevelt or Bill Cody. The 4 bedrooms are tucked away in their own world, with down quilts, and exceedingly comfortable beds. Each has its own esprit, from playful (twins and kids) to the grand master bedroom, with a walk in closet, built in dressers and a log frame king bed. The Rendezvous is situated in a park like setting, surrounded by low rock walls. The patio, complete with table and barbeque grill looks out towards the Beartooth Range. The hot tub (4 associates, 6 good friends), shares the large patio, and is only a few feet from the door. A stay at the Rendezvous, with its splendid ambience is an experience that touches your soul. Here, the past is always present; it is Montana after all, the last best place. The Rendezvous Lodge has a bedroom with a king sized bed, two rooms with a double bed in each, a room with two twin beds and the den with a double sized futon. It is a single story log home with two remodeled bathrooms. Additional amenities include: firewood provided, dining and livingroom, easy access, whitewater rafting, nordic skiing, full range, queen bed, coffeemaker, seasonal city pool, park, ice skating, 24 hour on call maintenance, double bed, large yard, tennis courts, horseback riding, scenic drives, charcoal or propane provided for the grill, towels/linens provided, washer/dryer, wildlife viewing, biking, iron/board, suitable for children, 2 twin beds, paper towels/ toilet paper provided, hiking, dining, snowshoeing, beartooth all american road, breakfast bar, double sized futon, king bed, fishing, skiing, atving, golfing. Welcome to the Buffalo Lodge! This large "shop" home is situated on a private 16-acre parcel in Clark, Wyoming. There is room for parking an RV (no hook-ups) and cars. The lodge is ideal for 10 guests but has room for more at an additional cost. Experience the joy of Bennett creek and the small pond, both perfect for cooling off in the summer heat. Bennett creek is slow moving but fast enough to float down on inner-tubes, wade, or even fish. The pond is great for swimming, fishing, floating, or just dipping your feet in to cool off. Just off the patio is a shallow area perfect for younger children to sit in the water and play. There is also a small playground and sand pit. Bring your horses for an additional fee and ride on the property or explore the many trails to the east and west. The lodge features an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining and living room. French doors lead off the living room to the patio. There are four bedrooms and three baths on the main floor. The upstairs has additional sleeping arrangements, another bathroom, and plenty of floor space for the less-discerning guest with a sleeping bag. One end of the home is a large bay with cement floor and collapsible tables and chairs. This is a perfect location for large group gatherings and cook-outs. Stay where the buffalo used to roam! This is real Wyoming! This land used to be part of a working buffalo ranch. Now Snowflake Ranch offers lodging on 16 acres of prairie and creek. Enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains and prairies; the Beartooth and Absaroka Mountains to the west and north, Big Horns to the east and Heart Mountain to the south. Plan some time to relax and watch the wildlife – ducks, eagles, hawks, rabbits, antelope, white tail and mule deer, coyote and fox. Bennett Creek runs through the property year round and there is a pond that provides opportunities for fishing, floating or swimming. The rugged and beautiful nearby Clark`s Fork River and Canyon is a must for fishing, hiking, photography and sightseeing. Look for moose, elk, mountain goats and big horn sheep in the nearby mountains. The Clark’s Fork Fish Hatchery is just two miles down the road and visitors are welcome. We are so excited to have you come enjoy the beauty of Wyoming! We want to share some additional information to help you prepare for your stay at the Snowflake Ranch in Clark, Wyoming. This is a wild and rugged—Real—Wyoming. This means that some of the luxuries of the city will be left behind. For instance, the closest grocery store or restaurant is nearly 30 miles away! The road to the ranch is gravel and dirt. The ranch is easily accessible by car, but you will travel approximately a mile and a half on a bumpy, dusty road. There are a few hazards that you need to be aware of. Our property is bordered by barbwire fences that are sharp. Cell phone service is limited. If you stand on the bridge, hold your head, hand, foot, ear, toe and tongue just right, you might be able to make a call! The good news is that text messaging works well and the home includes a landline phone for incoming or local calls. Bennett Creek and the pond provide beauty and fun but can be hazardous to small children. Always… always supervise your children. There is no life guard on duty. Life jackets and water equipment may be available, but you enter the water at your own risk. We have never experienced bear on our property and very rarely see rattle snakes. However, this is the wild prairie and there is a possibility of undesirable wild creatures, especially mice, harmless snakes, skunks or raccoons. Snowflake Ranch is a place of simple comforts; not fancy, but clean and comfortable. There is no air conditioning. Nights in Wyoming usually cool off nicely so you can enjoy the natural breezes and coolness with open windows. Camp fires are allowed in designated fire pit locations only. Spruce lodge, located on the west bench, is a five bedroom, 3.5 bath property that can accommodate up to 15 guests. The home is a rustic yet fully equipped log lodge that overlooks the city of Red Lodge from its enormous east deck. This upper level deck is located off the great room and has two large tables with outdoor BBQ. There are unobstructed Red Lodge Ski Mountain and Beartooth Mountain views to the west. It would be difficult to match the setting of this home and in fact it is the only home in the village of Red Lodge perched on the western bench. The property offers privacy and seclusion on its 13 in-town acres, yet it is mere blocks to downtown Red Lodge. The lodge was professionally decorated by 'Whispering Pines' Boutique of Red Lodge. Most of the furniture and accessories were ordered specifically for this home and the photo gallery speaks to the result. There are living rooms on two levels of this three story lodge, the space is ideal for an extended family or several families combined. This home is welcoming and can deliver an authentic Montana lodging experience. You will get the feeling that you're staying in your own mountain home because the property is not ever used as the owner's vacation getaway. There are no photographs or personal effects that might intrude on your own private vacation experience. The home is arranged as follows: The upper level loft has two queen beds with an additional twin. This level has a full bath. The main level contains the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, open great room, dining area, master suite, laundry room, half bath and ski room/reading nook entry. The master suite with a king bed is on this main floor and its bath has a walk-in tiled shower. Additionally there is large closet / dressing room en suite. There is Wi-Fi throughout the house and a MAC computer in the great room. The lower level has a living room with TV plus three bedrooms and a bath. Two of the bedrooms have a bunk with a queen sized bed and a twin. The third bedroom has two twins. All of these bedrooms have enormous closets. Access to the covered 6 person hot tub, patio and seasonal outdoor shower is from this lower level. There is ample parking for six vehicles. It would be possible to park a large motorhome for which there would be an additional charge. There is parking on the road outside the main gate for additional parking but we don't solicit or sanction large gatherings....indoors or out.
