The SpaceLong and private gravel driveway amidst a forested tunnel of trees. And lots of lawn space for playing. This is one of the quietest places in the Seattle metro area, great for artists, writers, musicians, or professionals who want some quietude after a workday in the busy city. The house was built in the 1980's with very modern amenities and purposely has a classic, retro look to resemble a french country cottage, albeit with modern, clean polish inside. It has been a non-smoking, no pet, "no-shoes inside" home. Guest AccessYour room has a queen bed, closet and drawer space, and is connected to a spacious, bright bathroom with shower and tub. You will receive fresh linens and towels.
The Downstairs is the common space for your enjoyment. It has a beautiful luxury kitchen with all Viking appliances, including 2 ovens, extensive granite counter tops and new updated cabinets. It connects to a lounge area that has large windows and a wood burning fireplace. Dining room with french doors that access a very large wrap-around deck and beautiful views of the creek, woods and sky. Living room has a cozy gas fireplace, and ceiling projector perfect for screening movies, TV or internet. Most of the floorspace is hardwood floors. Powder room, laundry/supplies room, and a studio office room with recently carpeted floor, office supplies and ethernet connections. For the preference of true relaxation seekers, wi-fi is available per request only, and tv cable is not enabled in this house.

The NeighborhoodExpect to see horseback riders meandering down the road, heading to the interconnected trail system that surrounds our home.
This neighborhood is small, quaint, and full of nature lovers. People really respect the environment and quietude, so you don't really have anyone running leafblowers around here. Most neighbors keep to themselves, yet are friendly and helpful when encountered. The plentiful neighbors are wild, ...deer, coyotes, foxes are common, and there is the seldom black bear or lynx sighting, right from the living room.
Getting AroundBus transit connecting to Bellevue, Seattle, and really anywhere is 1 mile away. An amazing food co-op, nail spa, fitness center, dry cleaning service and Starbucks are a minute away. 4 miles down the road is a big library, an outdoor mall, Whole Foods, Target, Home Depot... fortunately or not. Bicycle trails are all around, and what's really big around here is horseback riding, with several trails starting just a stone's throw from the backyard. Woodinville's hot air balloon routes fly right over the house in the summer and fall.
We can provide a ride to and from the airport for $40 each way. Other Things to NoteThere is no sink compressor, therefore food scraps need to be collected and placed into the trash.
