The SpaceOriole Cottage is located at Holiday Acres, a family resort with a restaurant and coffee shop. Guests have use of all the resort facilities. Horseback riding is just a short 1/2 mile walk away, and summer planned activities are offered in July and August.
Oriole has a double bed in one bedroom and a two twin beds in the second. Linens and bath towels are provided. It has a gas fireplace and an equipped kitchenette with an open concept living area. It's picture windows look out on an open field, surrounded by woods. It is a great place to watch for wildlife, as well as play lawn games.
The dock, boat and motor for Oriole Cottage is in back of and just across the street. It is about 300 yards away.

The NeighborhoodWe are located on 6000 feet of Lake Thompson, just a couple miles east of Rhinelander, WI. Shopping, entertainment and community services are minutes away. Holiday Acres Resort neighborhood is a friendly and relaxing place to be active or just enjoy the fresh air and calm.
Rhinelander is the Home of the Hodag, and the spirit of fun and relaxation is a part of our town! We are a small town with big city amenities, but our cottage, in it's woodland location, is the best of both worlds.
Holiday Acres' Three Coins Restaurant and Patio Coffee Shop is just a block away if you do not feel like cooking. Holiday Stables and Petting Zoo is a half mile walk away.
We love the casual atmosphere of the Northwoods, and offer a unique "camp for families" ambiance. Getting AroundWe are just minutes drive away from town, but you won't have to worry about traffic! If you plan to fly in, we will be delighted to pick you up at the Rhinelander Oneida County Airport(RHI), which is serviced by Delta Airlines, and is 15 minutes away.
Other Things to NotePets are allowed and welcomed with permission and an extra charge of $18 per night. Of course, cleanup and consideration for neighbors is expected. Breakfast rides, horseback trail rides, Hodag hunts, pontoon boats, kayak, canoes and food in the restaurant are all optional extras. Both state, county and local taxes are included in the listed rate.
