The SpaceWelcome to Melbourne!!! I bought my dream home last year and wanted to share it with the Airbnb community! The large double room with queen size bed is in this distinctive light filled architecturally designed townhouse. The difference is apparent, the appeal is immediate. Curved contours and polished concrete floors complement an entrance foyer that sets the style agenda for inviting downstairs spaces including two double bedrooms, each enjoying the benefits of an effective light well, both served by a downstairs bathroom with Balinese style sunken shower. Upstairs, northern light, polished floorboards and reverse cycle heating/cooling enhance generous living/dining areas accompanied by a spacious open plan kitchen and powder room. A sunny study space appreciates a zone all of its own while a substantial north facing terrace with outdoor heater creates the ideal context for entertaining with the Richmond streetscape, and a glimpse of the city, providing a superb backdrop. The famous and very trendy Bridge Rd shops, cafes and restaurants are only 100 meters away with direct access to the city, St kilda or Fitzroy by tram also only a moments walk. If you wanted to visit the Australian Open tennis, the Botanical gardens or any event in the CBD, you can either walk or take the tram and arrive in minutes. This really is the most convenient place in Melbourne to stay while visiting as everything is literally at your doorstep. If you have any questions about the space please feel free to drop me a line. The NeighborhoodRichmond has more bars, restaurants and cafes than you could possibly eat or drink at. Public transport is so close an you can literally get anywhere in Melbourne in one connection or less. Getting AroundTransport here is as good as anywhere in Melbourne. Other Things to NoteI have travelled extensively and speak a little Spanish so would welcome visitors from any country and would love to touch up on some Spanish when possible

We are absolutely in ❤ with Melbourne (and Richmond especially). Both of us are working full-time in web industry. Although we wont be around during office hours, we are just a call or text away. (Will's office is only 10 minutes from the apartment). Since both us live just next door, we will often visit and check on our guests. We speak English, Indonesian, Chinese and conversational Japanese. Both of us have keen interest in other cultures. Love to learn about where our guests came from & what brings them to "the worlds most liveable city". The Neighborhood LOCATION Great amenities in the vicinity: • Excellent access to public transport, South Eastern Freeway • Literally footsteps to the Yarra River, bike trails, running tracks and parkland. • Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre is right across the street, in fact, the shopping centre is visible from our balcony. (IKEA, Coles supermarket & Hoyts Cinema) • Excellent fashion shopping & cafes along Bridge Road • Asian, especially Vietnamese eateries aplenty along Victoria Street • The Abbotsford Convent (great farmer's markets monthly, open air cinema during summer) and the Collingwood Children's Farm (great outing for the kids). • The Richmond Recreation Centre is about a 1km walk from our doorstop. Great selection of group fitness class (Yoga, Pilates etc.). • The Gleadell Street Market runs every Saturday from 7 AM - 1 PM with fresh fruit, veggies, bread and fish, this market is friendly, small and local. Getting Around ♪ TRANSPORT ♪ Our place is exceptionally well serviced by public transport right on the doorstep and only 3.4 kilometres from Melbourne’s city centre. • Route 109 tram stop is only 2-minutes-walk away. Route 48 tram stop is only 8-minutes-walk away • Both tram routes will take you directly into CBD in about 15 minutes (ZONE 1). • If you had a night out in the city and missed the last tram, there is also the NightRider buses (1.30am to 4.30am). To reach our place by transport information, you need to go to the Melbourne city then to Richmond. ...from the AIRPORT If you're arriving via the airport (Tullamarine or Avalon) then you can get the SkyBus to Southern Cross station (where the SkyBus terminates). Ticket prices are $17 one way, $28 (URL HIDDEN) TRAM Right outside the Southern Cross Train Station, you will find tram stop on Collins Street (corner of Spencer and Collins streets). Please take route 109 tram towards Box Hill. Get on this stop 1 Spencer St/Collins St (Melbourne City) Get off at stop 24 Burnley St/Victoria St (Richmond) If you have a lot of luggages, it is better to take taxi :) Remember to buy Myki card before you get on the tram. Richmond would have to be the most central and convenient location in all of Melbourne where you can get pretty much anywhere with a short tram ride or stroll. The property itself is amazing, it has a fresh architectural approach to townhouse design giving it wonderful light filled spaces and a distinctive edge. Curved contours and polished concrete floors complement an entrance foyer that sets the style agenda for inviting downstairs spaces including two large bedrooms, each enjoying the benefits of an effective light well, both served by a semi ensuite bathroom. Upstairs, northern light, polished floorboards and reverse cycle heating/cooling enhance generous living/dining areas accompanied by a spacious open plan kitchen and powder room. Everything is literally at your doorstep and you won't ever need to wander too far to find what you're looking for. Getting AroundThe most convenient location transport wise in Melbourne. Trams, trains, walking paths etc are all within a moments walk. A Cab ride from the city is around $12. Other Things to NoteGuests have full use of the BBQ and entertainers balcony which is very large and has a very comfortable day bed on it. There is free WIFI, an unlimited number of movie options with Netflix on my smart TV and a washer and dryer for your use.

The SpaceHi I'm Bella, My gorgeous cottage in Richmond has been my home for the last 18 years. It has a great 2nd bedroom to accommodate a fellow traveler visiting Melbourne. Please note the king single bed is great for the extra length required for tall people! It's just a hop, skip & jump away from.... BRIDGE RD & VICTORIA ST RICHMOND - with its numerous cafes, bars, pubs, & restaurants, so there's no need to go far! But if you decide to, the city is a short walk away or just hop on a tram on Bridge Rd, just up the road and you're there in no time. It's only a couple of short tram rides away from the Grand Prix or you could walk through Olympic Park & The Botanic Gardens to get there. South Yarra is a short tram ride away in one direction and Collingwood & Fitzroy is close by in the other direction, but Richmond is so central you can walk to almost all the entertainment venues like the MCG, Rod Laver Arena, and even the Royal Botanic Gardens where you can see live performances all the way through the summer months. This is a great place for guests who want a short stay and the convenience of being close to everything, and perhaps the added bonus of not being far from friends or family during their visit to Melbourne. I expect we'll both be out and about a lot but I'm always available by text or email if you need anything FROM THE AIRPORT - I recommend "SkyBus Airport Shuttle" - door to door service from 5am till 10pm. Some people like to talk and others don't - either way I am happy. The NeighborhoodRichmond is a multi cultural suburb very close to the City. Therefore all the events occurring in Melbourne, especially at the MCG are within walking distance. It is an easy and enjoyable walk to/from the city (about 35 minutes). Melbourne is also a city full of places to go - gardens, museums, galleries, shows & of course many events. However, you cannot pass the restaurants in and eateries in Richmond! They are great - providing lots of different cuisine at all different prices. With all this activity it is wonderful to return to my place, which is a quiet spot and also very comfortable. Getting AroundPublic Transport from my place is very easy. The South Morang Train (stopping all stations) is a 6 minute walk from my place. Very useful if you are travelling to/from the airport - catch the Skybus which takes you to the city - Southern Cross Station, and then catch the South Morang Train (stopping all stations) to the West Richmond Station, which is about a 6 minute walk from my place. Otherwise, you can catch the No 75 tram which takes you down Flinders Street Melbourne or you catch the No 48 tram which takes you down Collins St Melbourne. The return stop is at the Epworth Hospital - stop number 15 (1st stop after Punt Rd). Walking from my place to the Epworth Hospital tram stop takes about 5 minutes. There is also a bus on Punt Road travelling North/South. Bus stops are at the corners of Punt Road with Bridge Road and also Freeman St - (just close to the West Richmond Station). Other Things to NoteI want you to feel relaxed and enjoy your stay! Above all, treat my home like your home, being mindful makes everyone happy:) No smoking in the house No visitors allowed to stay overnight. I ask my guests to observe quiet time after midnight.

Opposite the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground is AAMI Park, the Melbourne Tennis Centre and Olympic Park - hosting almost every sport you can imagine between them. Getting AroundThere are two tram lines right outside the apartment on Bridge Road, both of which take you directly into the city. Extremely conveniently, the #48 tram will take you to/from the Melbourne Airport shuttle (SkyBus) all the way along Collins Street and the #75 all the way along Flinders Street to Etihad stadium. I'm a walker, myself, and on a sunny day prefer to stroll into the city - virtually a straight line down Bridge Road, past the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), through the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens (home to the Fairy Tree, Captain Cook's Cottage and a gorgeous, free, Conservatory). It takes about 30-40 mins but is an excellent way to see Melbourne. The tram to St Kilda (which goes along the entirety of renowned shopper's delight Chapel Street) stops a 5-minute walk from our door, and the very cool Fitzroy and Collingwood neighbourhoods are just the other side of Victoria Street - a few kms away. That's where you'll find an abundance of galleries, cafes, artists haunts and the amazing Abbotsford Convent (yoga, vegetarian social experimental restaurant, markets, outdoor cinema, beautiful gardens and the animals from the next-door Collingwood Children's Farm). All about a 30 min walk around the river, which is a lovely way to spend a morning, afternoon or evening. Getting AroundThere are two tram lines right outside the apartment on Bridge Road, both of which take you directly into the city. Extremely conveniently, the #48 tram will take you to/from the Melbourne Airport shuttle (SkyBus) and the #75 to Etihad stadium. I'm a walker, myself, and on a sunny day prefer to stroll into the city - virtually a straight line down Bridge Road, past the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, through the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens (home to the famous Fairy Tree, Captain Cook's Cottage and a gorgeous, free, Conservatory). It takes about 30-40 mins but is an excellent way to see Melbourne. The tram to St Kilda (which goes along the entirety of renowned shopper's delight Chapel Street) stops a 5-minute walk from our door, and the very cool Fitzroy and Collingwood neighbourhoods are just the other side of Victoria Street - a few kms away. That's where you'll find an abundance of galleries, cafes, artists haunts and the amazing Abbotsford Convent (yoga, vegetarian social experimental restaurant, markets, outdoor cinema, beautiful gardens and the animals from the next-door Collingwood Children's Farm).
