The SpaceHi there! My partner and I live in a modern two story townhouse in a fantastic location (only 8 kms from the Melbourne CBD!!) We are within walking distance of all forms of public transport. There is a huge shopping centre close by and we live very close to Lygon St (famous for Italian Restaurants), Brunswick St and Sydney Rd (both famous for cute little boutique shops, bars, cafes and restaurants of all cuisines). The airport is only about a 10 minute drive. We have a good sized room with an extremely comfortable queen sized bed, as well as built in wardrobes and shelves to rent out. It is ideal for another couple....or a single person...or two singles (if you don't mind sharing a bed!) If there are more than two of you travelling together, we also have a very comfortable double air mattress in a separate bedroom, as well as a very comfortable leather couch! We are flexible and are happy to help out as much as we can. You would have your own bathroom (including bath!) next to your room. We will provide fresh linen and towels and basic breakfasts of tea, coffee, cereal, toast and fruit...or you are welcome to take advantage of the two famous breakfast cafes that are a very short walk from our house - they are both amazing!! We have unlimited filtered water for you to enjoy. The house comes complete with reverse cycle air-conditioning, so it is cool in summer and warm in winter, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine. There is ample street parking and it's an extremely safe (and friendly!) neighbourhood. We have wireless internet and literally thousands of movies, TV shows, stand up comedy routines, documentaries and many other genres all stored on our hard drive, so there is always something to watch - the choice is endless! (But I can't imagine that you'll be spending too many nights at home when there's a fantastic city right on your doorstep to explore!!) There is always so much to see and do in Melbourne and we are more than happy to give you advice/tips/local knowledge etc. We are extremely fun, friendly, welcoming people and we will ensure your stay is a memorable one! We love meeting new people and would feel honoured if you stopped by to say hi and spent some time with us. Stay for a night or a month - our door is always open! Did I mention we have a pool? In summer we crank up the barbeque and the tunes and spend our summer days and nights relaxing around and in the pool with friends and neighbours, usually with a glass of wine or a beer bottle in hand - true Aussie style! We have even worked out a way to heat the pool and turn it into a spa for those chilly evenings. You have to see it to believe it! We have a four wheel drive and love to go off road as much as possible and explore this beautiful country! We would love for you to come with us! Or if four wheel driving and the outdoors is not your thing, there are plenty of other things to see and do here. The choices are endless. If you are interested in visiting us, please get in touch! Anything I forgot to mention, please ask away! We can always work out all the finer details at a later time, but we are pretty flexible and laid back. We look forward to meeting you soon! :-)
