The SpaceCabin #1 - Peak Perspective has two cheerfully decorated bedrooms – one with a queen-size bed and one with twin beds (optional conversion to king-size bed for a nominal fee). In the living room, you’ll also find a futon with an inner-spring mattress that folds out to a queen size bed. The cozy Swedish nook can serve a dual purpose for reading or snoozing near the remote-controlled gas fireplace. From the screened 12' x 12' back porch, you’ll have short and easy access to the meadow, trails, gardens, berry bushes, campfire pit, and spectacular starlit skies. On the first morning of your stay, we will deliver freshly baked warm cinnamon twists to your doorstep, nestled in a picnic basket. We'll knock lightly to let you know your delivery has arrived. The NeighborhoodNestled on 112 acres bordering the Green Mountain National Forest, our cabins are conveniently located near Middlebury and a short distance from Middlebury College’s Main and Bread Loaf Campuses. We are located “off the beaten path” on a dirt road that’s well maintained throughout the year. Our driveway is approximately 0.4 miles long ….. just long enough to leave all of your cares behind. Getting AroundRental cars and taxis are available from the Burlington airport. Or ask us - we may be able to pick you up. Other Things to NoteWe have five 4 season cabins available. Guests also have access to a common area/rec room that we have dubbed "The Loft". It's a perfect place to gather together as a group. In The Loft, you'll find DVDs, exercise equipment, games, books, a large screen TV with satellite reception and more. The 37" TVs in the cabins are for DVD viewing. Two of our cabins, Cabin #4-Serene Outlook and Cabin #5 - Owl's Branch are pet friendly. Cabin #5 is also handicap accessible. Pet fee is just $15/night for each pet. There's a two pet maximum unless approved in advance. If you'd like to bring a pet we'll create an AirBnB special offer for you with the pet fees included.

The SpaceIt's a magical place to be. Guest AccessBilliard Table and Air hockey Use of an ATV (with instruction prior to use, and wearing a helmet).. walking distance to Middlebury River.... And available for any immediate assistance. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is very quiet and private but alive with sounds of nature. Lots of owls. Getting AroundMiddlebury Shuttle Bus stops across the street and will take you to the Snow Bowl or downtown. Other Things to NoteThe 3500 sq ft house with a fully finished basement. There isn't a great deal of natural light in basement, but it's cozy and private with its own entrance and full bathroom. It could easy accommodate up to 4 more people with sleeping bags or Inflatable beds.

The SpaceThis home has its roots as the first B&B on Robert Frost Mountain. It was not built as a B & B, but evolved into one, to accommodate folks who wanted to stay in the mountains just outside Middlebury. The space consists of a very large bedroom with king bed, sitting area with couch, and comfy chair and wood burning fireplace. Attached to the bedroom is a study with two desks, bookcases, and reading chair. There is ample drawer and closet space. The bathroom with two sinks and shower/ tub/ jacuzzi is in the hallway a couple steps away, and is exclusively yours. Common spaces include the kitchen and living room. Air mattress available for additional guests. Guest AccessYou will have access to the entire house and are welcome to cook in the kitchen, or read and play games in the living room. I welcome you as I would family......actually, better than family! Interaction with GuestsI do also live in the home with my miniature poodle, Pepper, who is a certified therapy dog. Depending on when you arrive, there may be other guests in the home as well. I am available to help you plan your stay and arrange excursions or reservations. I am available as needed and will always respect your privacy. The NeighborhoodThe home is located in Green Mountain National Forest in Ripton, VT. The local hotspot is nature! Hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and nordic skiing are literally steps away. Snow Bowl and Rikert Ski Center are 15 minutes away. Breadloaf Campus is 10 minutes away. Dinner can be booked at the Chipman Inn located on Ripton's main drag, where you will encounter the hosts, Joan and Chris. Just across the street from the Chipman Inn is the Ripton General Store, a must see bit of old time Ripton charm! Another great place for dinner is the nearby Waybury Inn and the towns of Middlebury, Bristol, Brandon, and Vergennes have their share of interesting shops and restaurants. Burlington is 45 miles away. Getting AroundBecause we are in the mountains, a car is needed to get around. Other Things to NoteThe home about 4 miles up a dirt road. The road is typically very well maintained. It is about a 20-30 minute drive to Middlebury College and Porter Hospital (where I work). It is about 10 minute drive to the Breadloaf campus.

    The Vermont House consists of a a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2 story Main House; and a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 1 story Annex. The sections are separated by lockable double doors in the living rooms and kitchens. The sections may be rented separately, or as a combined unit. The Annex is a private 1-story, 1-bedroom unit that is bright and welcoming: The 30-foot combined living room/dining room has 2 easy chairs, a queen-sized sleep sofa, a china cabinet, flat screen TV, Blu-Ray player and stereo/CD player. The dining area has a dark wood trestle table with bench and 2 dining chairs. The spacious Annex bedroom has a queen bed, large chest of drawers, two night stands and a large closet. Bedding for the sleep sofa is stored in the closet, as is a small fold-out child-sized bed. The Annex galley kitchen has a full-sized 4-burner stove, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. Toaster, waffle iron and Mr. Coffee are provided. Dishes are the Charter Club Summer Grove pattern. The Annex bathroom has a combined tub/shower with glass enclosure.

Or head for the very top of the lodge to the lofts-a place we call the "Tree Tops" because you're literally right among them. There's a daybed up here, as well as a full bed under the sky light for start gazing, and a "secret Room" with giant sized foof bag for escaping with a good book. In fact, the lodge is full of hidden nooks and crannies. Weather not ideal? No problem! Follow the smell of popcorn down to our game room. This large but cozy space has everything you could need for a rainy day in.     The SpaceThe White Room has a very comfortable full size bed, desk and ample space for your stuff. It also has a working wood burning fireplace. Bathroom is downstairs and may be shared with one other person. Guest AccessYou will have access to the entire house and are welcome to cook in the kitchen, or read and play games in the living room. I welcome you as I would family......actually, better than family! Interaction with GuestsI do also live in the home with my miniature poodle, Pepper, who is a certified therapy dog. Depending on when you arrive, there may be other guests in the home as well. I am available to help you plan your stay and arrange excursions or reservations. I am available as needed and will always respect your privacy. The NeighborhoodThe home is located in Green Mountain National Forest in Ripton, VT. The local hotspot is nature! Hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and nordic skiing are literally steps away. Snow Bowl and Rikert Ski Center are 15 minutes away. Breadloaf Campus is 10 minutes away. Dinner can be booked at the Chipman Inn located on Ripton's main drag, where you will encounter the hosts, Joan and Chris. Just across the street from the Chipman Inn is the Ripton General Store, a must see bit of old time Ripton charm! Another great place for dinner is the nearby Waybury Inn and nearby towns of Middlebury, Bristol, Brandon, and Vergennes have their share of interesting shops and restaurants. Burlington is 45 miles away. Getting AroundBecause we are in the mountains, a car is needed to get around. Other Things to NoteThe home about 4 miles up a dirt road. The road is typically very well maintained as it is a school bus route. It is about a 20-30 minute drive to Middlebury College and Porter Hospital (where I work). It is about 10 minute drive to the Breadloaf campus.
