    I live in a 3 bedroom house on the North Shore of Auckland. Very central to all areas and beaches. Decks that look out towards the city lights. You may need a car to travel around. But the bus service is a short walk up the road. Short stays welcome. You can have the large downstairs bedroom. I am an artist with a studio room. Where you can experience painting your own painting. Paint your own masterpiece and take it with you.

    Detached house in Mairangi Bay, North Shore Auckland. We back onto Rangitoto College and walking distance to Murrays bay school, Mairangi Bay school and close to the beach with easy access to bus routes. We are a family of three, with our five year old daughter and we have two cats. Our house consists of three bedrooms and two living areas upstair with additional accommodation downstairs, which is a large bedroom with ensuite and a private living room. we have a large kitchen upstairs with dining room that opens up to our front deck and we also have a large back garden. Down the road you have access to shops, restaurants, and easy access to the other bays, or to the city centre via the express bus to Auckland.

    I live in a house on a main road in a dip on the North Shore of Auckland by myself with my two cats. Easy access getting to everything by bus or walking distance. Main bus terminal 7 minutes walk away. Beaches 15 minutes walk away. Close to supermarkets, shops etc. At night the area is very quiet and you can hardly hear the sound of cars on the main road. I am close to parks also. The house is an older home very sunny in the bedroom and lounge area. The bedroom has a queen size bed and some furnishings. Their is one shared bathroom and one toilet shared. The dining room is in the kitchen area and the living room is separate. I have WIFI and digital TV not sky TV. I also have many movies. I love to go out to open music mic nights or listen to live music or perform if you are keen to join me in the evenings or weekend evenings. The barbecue can be used in Summer. I enjoy cooking so you can enjoy from time to time my food or baking. My children are in their 20's they are living away from me but i have time in the afternoons and evenings and weekends to share my hospitality wtih you. I have hosted and host people from all around the world. I have travelled overseas many times and lived overseas so speak other languages.     I live in a nice, convenient suburb in Auckland, with my husband Matthew and our three children. Our house is situated away from the main streets and is quiet and brightly lit throughout the day. It is nice and cool in summer and sufficiently warm in the cooler months. We are an easy 15-20 minutes drive to the Auckland city centre and has numerous eateries/supermarkets within a short 5-10 minutes drive. We have a double room available, furnished with a queen bed and closet. A light breakfast of toast and a hot drink (coffee/tea) with fruit will be available daily during the period of your stay with us. Additional meals available at extra cost.

      Large 4 bedroom, 2 Bathroom house only 10 min from Auckland city, 5 min to beach, 3 mountain bikes, 3 surfboards available to borrow during stay. House has a large pool and spa pool. Ideal for late 20s-late 30s travellers who want to learn where the locals go in NZ/Auckland. No children or pets, but lovely big outside deck and very warm and sunny house.       The SpaceA large open plan space with three big living area and three bathrooms, our house happily fits up to 8 people. We have a lovely garden backing on to a small bush reserve. Upstairs we have our master bedroom with a modern ensuite featuring a giant double shower. Then we have two lovely big bedrooms which catch tons of sunshine. And lastly a huge family bathroom with bath, shower, large vanity and toilet. Downstairs is the kitchen and living area, plus a large lounge with a gas fire, and a third living space, leaving lots of room to spread out. Off the top living area are french doors which lead to the downstairs bedroom, with large bifold windrows that can be opened right up on a sunny day. There is also our office/study room downstairs, and a small guest toilet. Lastly, we have a garage with a table tennis table which we keep folded up when not in use. Full access to all amenities including unlimited internet, sheets, towels, gas fire, cooking equipment, and basic toiletries. The NeighborhoodWe live in a great quiet neighbourhood, with lots of parks and cycle tracks, and its a quick and easy drive to Albany Mall and Shopping Centre, which has cinemas, restaurants and bars. The North Shore boasts many beautiful beaches, most within a ten or fifteen minute drive from our house. The closest is Mairangi Bay (5-10 mins drive) which has bars, restaurants, a surf club, cafes, and a lovely cliff walk through to the next bay. Browns bay, 15 mins away, has a beautiful big boulevard and park area by the beach as well as a great ice cream shop. Those are just two of the great spots around us. We are also very close to a major bus station, so it's very easy to get to Central Auckland or north to Albany shopping complex. Getting AroundThere is a huge bus station only 10minutes walk away, that has services to Auckland City every 15 minutes. Plus a smaller bus stop right across the road that connects to many large bus routes. Cycle ways mean you can bike to nearby locations with ease, enjoying scenic bush paths. Local shops provide fresh fruit and veg and a well stocked supermarket caters for every requirement. We have parks, a golf course, an art exhibition and of course a lovely beach. Why not engage in true Kiwi fare and enjoy fish and chips on the beach. The house is just a few minutes drive from other bays including Browns, Castor, Campbells, Rothesay and Murrays, Long Bay National Park and the Okura Estuary are just 15 minutes drive. We are only 20 minutes drive from Auckland centre and busses run regularly from a stop just 2 minutes walk away. Getting AroundBuses run regularly and locally to popular destinations including other bays and local towns such as Albany, Takapuna and of course - central Auckland.

Only 15 minutes walk from Mairangi Bay's character filled local 'village shopping' and family oriented beach and coast-line. 15-20 minutes drive to Auckland City Centre and close to the Albany Mega-Centre. This home has a wonderful peaceful ambiance, modest (not flash), but comfortable furnishings and everything required for normal family living, along with BBQ facilities, table tennis table and covered parking. Beneath the main house is a Granny Flat, which may be occupied by a 'granny' at the time of rental. Two cats are used to having the run of the house, but arrangements can be made for them to be denied access and to be fed elsewhere.                                 The SpaceThe master bedroom has a new king size bed and downstairs the first bedroom has a queen size bed and the larger room has bunks with a double and single (sleeps 3) as well as a fold out couch. The bathroom upstairs has a bath and shower and both toilets are separate. The kitchen is well equipped with many appliances, a dining area and the lounge leads out to a deck with a BBQ and woodfire pizza oven! The house is well located for the motorway and North Shore amenities, is down a quiet driveway and is pretty private. Guest AccessThe whole house is open, though only half of the garage space can be used as there is a trailer in there. Half of the drawer space will be available in bedrooms.
