We are a middle aged family with a 3 1/2 year old daughter and old labrador dog. We live at the northern end of the Gold Coast, 5 min walk to the water and short stroll to the corner shop. 10 Min walk to restaurants and cafés. Bus stop at the end of the street. 10 min drive to Griffith University 5 min drive to large shopping center. we have a large modern kitchen with large open plan 4 bedroom home. Two external entertaining areas, so we can all enjoy the out doors. Pool and spa & BBQ outside and large spa in main bathroom. Nice quiet street , we are easy going people and love good food cooking eating and entertaining. plenty of room to get away from one another so you feel like you have your own space.

I live in Runaway Bay Gold Coast Queensland. I am a mother to two beautiful daughters. We live very close to all amenities. Including bus stops. Great public transport. Shop's, schools and close to geting onto the highway to go South or North. We are a family of three girls so would only be interested in hosting a female. I am a fantastic cook and will look after you as part of my family. We have a two story home which has plenty of room. We have a swimming pool and tennis court and are situated in a gated community which gives us great security. I would love to show you around and you would be very welcome to come on family outing. We adore swimming and walking and have a great outdoor lifestyle. Your stay would be a very happy one.

The Space*Our 4 bedroom 4 bathroom double level waterfront home located in Paradise Point on the Gold Coast is available for holiday rental. *Available all dates negotiable *The property is the end house on a canal so has beautiful views down the waterway. *The property has a large waterfront pool area, the pool being solar heated keeps the chill out of the water. *It has its own jetty for tieing up a boat or jetskis which is also a perfect spot for fishing in the summer. There is also a sandy beach out front for kids / animals to play. Guest Access*The house has a main master bedroom which is extra large with a king bed and extra large ensuite with double shower, double vanity and bath. *The second bedroom is again extra large with a queen bed although if required there is plenty of space to accomodate additional beds. *The third room is a large double room with a queen bed. All three of the bedrooms upstairs have amaizing views down the canal. *The second bathroom upstairs has both a shower and a large two person spa bath complete with massage jets. *The fourth bedroom is a small double room downstairs complete with large ensuite with both shower and large bath. The SpaceYour apartment is unique in Couran Cove which, as of late 2016, has undergone a complete refurbishement. It is the only waterfront apartment that has an extended kitchen with dishwasher and indoor seating for 5. At 75sqm, this is a very large apartment with a separate kingsize bedroom and two sofa beds in the loungeroom making it ideal for two adults and two children (three if two can share a double sofa bed). The huge marble bathroom has twin sinks and a bath separate from the shower (even the toilet is in a separate room!) Remember - even though you are booking through the owners, you have the same access to all resort facilities like any other guest!! This resort is so big that you do need the bicycles we supply to make the most of it. This can represent a significant cost as the bicycles are $15/day, which adds $60 to a weekend stay for a couple. NEW OPTIONS FOR EATING OUT as of Spring 2016 - The fully licensed Spa Island restaurant is still serving great, inexpensive meals. The all new fine dining restaurant (open during busy periods on weekends) has moved to the refurbished Surf Club to make the most of the untamed, majestic surf beach and ocean views. The old restaurant site over the water in the marina has been replaced by a modern Tavern - The Marlin Bar. The boardwalk cafe has been reopened as the Shingle Inn where you can enjoy coffee, cake and more with waterfront views over the marina. Guest AccessYour apartment is part of the Couran Cove Island Resort and you get to enjoy full use of all facilities as would any guest of the resort. Sporting equipment and activities on the island are complimentary. Guest AccessThe eco-cabin has 2.5 bedrooms, with a loft attached to the second bedroom. It features a fully equipped kitchen with cooking facilities, large living area, fully screened verandahs, cosy gas fireplace, gas BBQ and a 42" LED television. As the island is mainly flat, bicycles make for a truly relaxing and enjoyable way to get around the island. Couran Cove Island Resort offers bicycle hire at a rate of $30 each per day. However, as our guest we would like to welcome you to enjoy the use of our personal bicycles to use throughout your stay saving you even more on your holiday! As bicycle protective gear is not provided by us, we recommend hiring some from Couran Cove Island Resort or alternatively bringing your own. It is a condition of booking that guests use the bikes for their appropriate use and any damages will be charged to the guests. There are locks provided and it is recommended that these are used when bikes are left elsewhere on the island. Loved the quiet atmosphere, bikes, kangaroos, quality fit out of the apartment , friendly staff, surf beach, sports facilities and feeling of general opulence" - Brook Felsenthal Your apartment is in the Couran Cove Island Resort which, as of late 2016, has undergone a complete refurbishement. Remember - even though you are booking through private owners, you have the same access to all resort facilities like any other guest! This is a spacious, luxury, air-conditioned unit that has its own kitchenette - double gas stovetop, microwave and 3/4 size fridge. You will be pleasantly surprised by the huge double sink marble bathroom with its separate full-size bath for relaxing - after a hard day walking the beach or cocktailing by the pool! It is such a huge resort with much to explore that you need your own bikes to get around. If you were staying through the Couran Cove Island Resort, this would cost extra, but we include bikes that could otherwise cost you more than 20% of your accommodation to hire! NEW OPTIONS FOR EATING OUT as of Spring 2016 - The fully licensed Spa Island restaurant is still serving great, inexpensive meals. The all new fine dining restaurant (open during busy periods on weekends) has moved to the refurbished Surf Club to make the most of the untamed, majestic surf beach and ocean views. The old restaurant site over the water in the marina has been replaced by a modern Tavern - The Marlin Bar. The boardwalk cafe has been reopened as the Shingle Inn where you can enjoy coffee, cake and more with waterfront views over the marina. The following facilities and activities are available: - 25m heated lap infinity pool (refurbished in Sept 2016) - children’s heated pool (refurbished in Sept 2016) - children’s playgrounds and gym - tennis and squash courts (refurbished in Sept 2016) - kayaking - lawn bowls and boule - giant chess board - BBQ’s in the Broadwater picnic area On top of all this there are many lovely walks including the beautiful rainforest boardwalk and lookout. Then there are the running/walking/cycling tracks. And then there's the fishing - you have the broadwater on one side and the ocean on the other. Getting AroundThe only way to the island is by ferry or water taxi from Hope Harbour on the Gold Coast. Transfers are readily available from Coolangatta airport. Once you are on the island, as no vehicles are allowed in the National Park, the only way around is on foot or bicycle. Fortunately, we supply bikes as they are not cheap to hire. The NeighborhoodOur location is surrounded by beautiful parklands, walks, canals, bay beaches, excellent restaurants, shops and all the amenities you could wish for. Getting AroundBus stop just around the corner. This will take you to Runaway bay shopping centre & from there you can change bus to go to Surfers or Harbour town & beyond. Dreamworld & Warner Brothers theme parks are within 20 mins drive of the property. Tambourine mountain & the hinterlands are about a 30 min drive away. Other Things to NoteThe centre of Paradise Point has lots of cafes & restaurants within 5 minutes walk from the flat, less if you drive. If you're into keeping fit, there are public exercise machines all along the parklands . Or just go for a brisk walk along the board walks, you wont be disappointed. The sunsets/sun rises are amazing here. We have a dog and cat on the property but you will probably will not see or hear them as they do not access anywhere near the apartment. The cat is an indoor cat, so if you see him (colourpoint rag doll) let us know because that means he has escaped :)

The SpaceIt is studio accommodation with Q. bed and 2 lounges,one a day/night couch. A comfortable large room with attached separate bathroom. Small kitchinette, table and chairs, TV, and air con. Plenty of light and attached balcony. Ideal for guests for comfort, peace and quiet privacy. Interaction with GuestsMargaret is happy to help guests with their visit to the Coast regards sightseeing, transport etc. The NeighborhoodMariner Quays is close to the Runaway Bay Shopping Centre with many shops including Coles & Woolworths and food outlets. Within 5 mins walk is 7/11 and 2 coffee cafes and an ex. restaurant. We are away from traffic noise and have quiet neighbours. Getting AroundThe bus stop is across the road in Bayview Street however only runs hourly. We have parking facilities for guests.

Getting AroundGETTING THERE Travel to the resort is either by resort ferry, water taxi or private boat. No cars are allowed on the island (except with a special permit). Private boat Mooring fees are as follows (per night) and vouchers can be used at the restaurants: Vessel size: Under 4meter/jetski - $20 - $10 voucher 4 meter to 8 meter - $60 - $20 voucher Over 8 meter - $100 - $40 voucher Water Taxi: Steve's Water Taxi or Margarita Cruises. GETTING AROUND ON THE ISLAND You can hire bicycles from the resort, bring your own bicycles over on the ferry (extra cost) or catch the resort train to the surf beach. It's 2km so you can also walk. The SpaceIf you are a couple please make sure that you book for 2 guests! The Theme Parks are all nearby. Summer is beautiful here on the Gold Coast. With Tranquil, Waterfront, Gold Coast you have your own large bathroom with bath and shower. Own toilet, and I am happy to share the rest of my very comfortable townhouse on the Gold Coast with fellow Aussies or people from further afield. All nationalities welcome. Single or couple; male or female; Gay Friendly. Please read "Other Property Reviews" from my previous listing. I have been around for awhile! The townhouse is situated in a very tranquil setting and has absolute waterfront. It guarantees you a wonderful night’s sleep and yet it is close to everything. You have your own very comfortable private room with Queen Size bed, wardrobe and computer table and your own large bathroom with bath AND shower and your own toilet next to your bathroom. Linen, towels, hair dryer and iron are all provided as well as a yummy breakfast with home-made strawberry jam and home-made marmalade and I have been told that the coffee is pretty good too! I am a single, retired, young at heart female. I will accommodate no more than 2 guests at the one time and of course singles are welcome. A Major shopping Center is 400 meters away with 3 Super Markets as well as Major retailers, boutiques, coffee shops, fast food, liquor stores, 9 banks and Post Office. It has a large Food Court with 8 different eateries including McDonalds and KFC and many other conveniences such as a bus terminal with buses coming and going.There is an abundance of restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Chinese cuisine all within a 1km range. All the Theme Parks are no more than a 20 minute drive away. Surfers Paradise is 10 minutes and the airport only 31.5km. Harbour town shopping center with over 200 specialty discount outlets, restaurants and cinema 7 minutes drive away. The Gold Coast is also home to the largest market in the Southern Hemisphere with over 500 stalls. I always look forward to meeting new people.
