The location could not be more perfect if you want to enjoy Sydney's beautiful harbour-side and be close to the best that Sydney has to offer in night and day-life. The NeighborhoodIf you're new to Sydney, you really cannot beat Elizabeth Bay/Potts Point/Ruschcutters Bay as a location. If you don't stay at my place, stay somewhere nearby! I've lived in the area for over 6 years and simply love it. The local area really has everything: cafes, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, harbour parks, weekend markets and great transport links. Getting AroundYou are spoiled for choice: 2 mins walk to buses, 6 mins walk to King's Cross train station, 30mins walk to CBD, goget/zip/car share pods in immediate proximity. Easy access to Bondi and other beaches by bus or car. Transport options from the airport to the apartment are: a) Train: $15 per person & takes around 40 mins (including 10 min walk) b) Taxi: Approx $50 and 15 mins door to door (cost and time depends on traffic). I almost always take a taxi (after a flight the last thing I want to do is hope in another big metal tube with lots of strangers), but both options are easy enough. Gorgeous tree-canopied streets, beautiful art-deco architecture and distinctive character make it "pop". Great shopping, beautiful parks, cute cafés and trendy restaurants are its hallmarks. A demographic mix, fashion and flair abounds. You will love Potts Point !. If you want to laze at Bondi beach, a short 15-minute Uber/Taxi ride will get you there. Getting AroundVery much like Manhattan, everything you need is right outside your door!: from grocery, pharmacy, banks to art and fashion. There is a go-get car for hire by the hour on the street. In a scenic fifteen minute walk you are at the Botanic Gardens, Gallery of NSW, Australian Museum, CBD and many tourist sites. There are plenty of public transport options too: Kings Cross train station is five minutes walk away and buses are moments away. Cabs/taxis are plentiful. For proximity to the best Sydney has to offer, Potts Point is an unbeatable location. The iconic Opera House is a 10 minute taxi away. The famed Woolloomolloo Finger Wharf with its plethora of harbourside restaurants is a walk or short taxi away. Harbour-side parks are within walking distance. It is near the fabulous suburbs of Potts Point, Darlinghurst, Kings Cross, Wooloomolloo, Surry Hills and the stunning Elizabeth Bay. Kings Cross, can get busy on the weekends but there are great little holes in the walls that only locals know, plus we have an actual dvd store and vinyl store in Darlinghurst. Have a swim in the nearby baths. There are so many great restaurants, bars and cafes around, and if you feel like going elsewhere the transport available makes it easier. Including the bus that takes you to the Opera House where you can have a nice wine as the sunsets over the harbour bridge. The apartment is in the perfect location for a traveller or someone here on business, with lots of public transport at your doorstep or the city within walking distance. Getting AroundLOTS of transport. The apartment is equidistant from Kings Cross and Edgecliff train stations, plus you have access to three buses that will not only take you straight to the city, but to the hidden baths. Otherwise pack some walking shoes, because everywhere is walking distance. Other Things to NoteSydney has a lot of things going on. Festivals, Mardi Gras AND great weather. Numerous famous restaurants are nearby. All the conveniences of our inner city locale are at your doorstep. Public transport, both bus and train, car rentals, and major banks are all within 200 metres of our hotel. Due to the heritage of the building we are unable to have a lift.

The location is arguably the best and boarders all the hip suburbs like Potts Point, Paddington and Darlinghurst, literally seconds away from great Darlo restaurants, Potts Point bars and the night life of Kings Cross. The apartment is centrally located to everything, including supermarkets (a 3min walk on the same street) and wifi cafes, which are literally next door at The White Wall Cafe. Walk 17min west and you'll be in the heart of the city, 10min walk south and you'll end up on Oxford street, 10 min east and you'll be exposed to incredible harbour views and parks, the Botanic Gardens and Opera House are also walking distance with the night life of Kings Cross only steps away. Feeling lazy? Kings Cross train station is less than a 5min walk and will get you in the city within 7min and only 2 stops away from Bondi. A walk around the headland to Darling Point Wharf is a must, a coffee in the well used cafe opposite in Rushcutters Bay Park is a delight. Kids and families enjoy the area - a bright and happy space we enjoy thoroughly. Getting AroundDirectly outside our building is a bus stop to the CBD. A short 10min walk to the ferry or train, only moments from the CBD. Transport is very convenient, 20minute walk into the city. Other Things to NoteThis room has hanging space for clothes. The NeighborhoodThe location is between the Potts Point cosmopolitan hub and the serenity of Rushcutters Bay Parkland and Marina. Getting AroundThe closest train station is Kings Cross, which is a 5 mins walk away. The bus stop to the CBD and Sydney Harbour icons is less than 5 mins walk away. The CBD is 20mins walk away. A cab fare to/from the airport is AU$45-50 or alternatively trains and buses will also get you there. Other Things to NoteThe bed is a double (not a queen). There is only 1 (big) bathroom to share, but this has not yet been a problem for me or anyone. You will have your own cupboard with shelving in the bathroom. I have mine. The NeighborhoodWe love our location because of its serenity. We are within metres Kings Cross and Oxford Street yet our apartment is on a leafy quiet one way street with a real community atmosphere. Take a walk down to Rushcutters Bay, hip Surry Hills, a quick train trip to beautiful Bondi or take a ferry over to Manly Getting AroundIf you can't get where you want to go on foot. Kings Cross train station is a five minute walk. Oxford Street is also a five minute walk where you can find buses that will take you most places. Circular Quay is either a few stops on the train from Kings Cross train station or a twenty minute walk from our place. Taxis are available on surrounding streets. Other Things to NoteWe live in a hub of great restaurants, cafes and nightlife. Hip and famous cafes and just around the corner, word class restaurants are up the road and look out for the small, hidden bars of Darlinghurst and Surry Hills!
