The SpaceOur lakeside holiday home is spacious, fully-furnished, clean and comfortable, making your stay in this lovely part of Victoria relaxing and enjoyable. The house has magnificent views of the Goulburn River and Nagambie Lakes area, and is surrounded by an abundance of native flora and fauna. Inside, the open living room, dining and kitchen areas are large enough to cater for nights in, barbecues, and family time with the kids. The kitchen is fully-equipped for cooking and serving, while the living room opens out onto the patio and barbecue area for entertaining. The bathroom is clean and functional, with space to move, a nice shower, separate adjacent toilet, and large laundry sink. The two bedrooms have plenty of room to accommodate suitcases and personal gear, with one room having substantial wardrobe and hanging space. Quality linen, bedding, bath towels and bath mats are provided. Bedroom one has a queen-sized bed, while bedroom two has one double bed and one single bed, comfortably accommodating families, two couples, or a small group. The house is thoroughly warmed by a well-stocked wood fire in cooler months, and has two air conditioners and natural lake breezes for comfort in summer. Set well back off the road with a large front yard and long driveway, the home has a sense of privacy. Meanwhile, the backyard has a nice patio, lawn area and picnic table overlooking the lake, and is *literally* on the water's edge. The landing is shared with one neighbour, and is large enough for mooring a boat on the lake, or to use as a platform from which to fish, swim or launch a canoe. Overall, our holiday house is ideal for active families, couples and small groups who want to make the most of their holidays and time off, all the while enjoying stunning views, water sports, relaxing barbecues and dinners, and a great tourism and recreation region. As locals, my husband and I can meet you personally to show you in if preferred, and we are close enough to help or give advice if needed. Otherwise, we can arrange to leave the key nearby for you, giving you complete privacy and solitude until you drop the key off as you leave. Let us know how much privacy or assistance you need in advance, and we will make sure you have just the right kind of stay! Living locally, my husband and I are not far away should you need assistance. However, as travellers ourselves, we also appreciate the need for privacy! 5-10 mins. drive from Nagambie, the house has direct access to the Goulburn River and Nagambie Lakes for watersports and great scenery, and is only a short drive from a host of top wineries including Tahbilk, Mitchelton, David Traeger Wines, Murchison, Dalfarras, McGee Wines, McPherson Wines and Twelve Acres Winery. Beyond lakeside, there are fascinating historical sites such as the Balaclava Mine, while the Whroo forest and surrounding areas offer diverse landscapes from which to enjoy the local wildlife and gorgeous sunsets. In addition to water sports, the area is also great for cycling, bush walking and horse riding. Or, for the more adventurous, why not try sky diving and ballooning? Pick up at front door Not far from the train station Other Things to NoteMy late husband Hugh and I had a Caravan Park, the Calder Caravan Park in Mildura for 11 years and then managed the Echuca Caravan Park for 10 years. We loved Echuca and it is so nice to have a place where my now partner and I can go when time permits but still be able to share it with others.

The SpacePlease note that my business caters to long term accommodation. Therefore, I can't accept bookings of less than one week more than a month in advance so please don't request. Sorry for any inconvenience! The apartment is totally blocked off from the main section of the house, with complete privacy and its own access. This property is directly across the road from the private hospital and 800m from the public hospital. It is in a very quiet and peaceful area of town, and the apartment itself is newly renovated. Guests have available to them a private remote garage, featuring a lovely fernery. They also have a large private lounge, master bedroom, ensuite and WIR. Free wi-fi is also provided and the apartment is airconditioned throughout. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, which include a toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave for your convenience. I am onsite for any queries, although guests have their own privacy throughout the stay. Should you need to contact me, just SMS and we'll catch up when convenient to us both. The neighbourhood is one on the quietest in town. As I'm across from the private hospital, there are no sirens from emergency vehicles. There are parks nearby and if staying for an extended visit there is a laundry close by. There is a bus stop just outside your door. I have two dogs who live with me in my section of the house, but they're very well behaved and are never allowed in the guests section. The SpaceThis quirky circa 1940s one-bedroom cottage with old style red brick verandah is lovingly referred to as 'The Mansion' in our family. The Mansion adjoins a working orchard and overlooks farmland. It is fitted out with the latest split system air conditioner to keep you warm in winter & cool in summer as well as ceiling fans for those in between times. Breakfast pack included in first night's stay with full kitchen/cooking facilities for self-catering. Tea & coffee is supplied. The TV has a built in DVD/CD player. The queen size bed is fitted with an electric blanket. Secure shed parking available for special vehicles/motorcycles on request. Car/bike washing facilities also available. Ample free parking for cars, caravans/trailers. Sleeps up to 4 but ideally suited for a couple. Additional Guests could be accommodated in "The Pad" -please see my listing on airbnb. Guest AccessLemnos is on the east side of Shepparton and renowned for its world class fruit growing orchards. Shepparton's SPC Factory Sales are only a short drive from The Mansion. The lovely village of Dookie is to the east of Lemnos and is well worth a visit especially for the wine lovers. If you are visiting for sports, the Sports Precinct is only a few minutes drive along Ford Rd from The Mansion. There are many attractions in and around Shepparton, for further information, see the Greater Shepparton web site ; attractions . After checking out Shepparton's many attractions, Guests can feel free to kick back and relax with a drink under the leafy-shaded BBQ area beside The Mansion. Interaction with GuestsOur main Homestead is separate from The Mansion thus guests will have plenty of privacy. I am more than happy to help out any way I can. I regularly go for morning walks along the beautiful country roads to take in the wild life & fresh air, Guests are welcome to join me. The NeighborhoodWe are in a lovely, quiet, rural neighbourhood with the space of the country while still being close to town. Kyabram is also the home of the Kyabram Fauna Park, again within walking distance. It has the second largest collection of Australian Fauna in Victoria. It also has a popular sheltered picnic/BBQ area and children's playground. The two guest bedrooms are in a separate wing of the house. Each guest bedroom has a queen bed and a single bed, so can accommodate up to three people. (Pricing based on two sharing; extra person sharing is $30 extra). Guests from both rooms share the breakfast/sitting room which overlooks the garden and river. Access is via a separate ramp and entrance. We love to chat with our guests over breakfast, or share a glass of wine in the evening. The Horseshoe Lagoon reserve is adjacent to the property, offering a pleasant twenty minute bush walk around the lagoon to the Moama wharf and back across the boardwalk. We are ten minutes walk from Moama and half an hour's walk from Echuca. Trains and coaches come to Echuca from Melbourne. We are happy to provide transport to the Captain's Cottage from Echuca station should it be required. We have an unfenced dam and the river, so the property is not suitable for young children. The SpaceOur flat is the perfect home away from home. We have just refurbished the flat with fresh paint, new carpet and all new furniture including a new bed. There is a TV & DVD player with sound system in the lounge room and another TV & DVD player in the bedroom. Both the lounge room and bedroom have split system air conditioning and ceiling fans. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances and crockery and cutlery & basic pantry requirements. The flat is perfectly suited for a couple or single person only. Maximum two people. Sheets & towels included. The flat is behind our own home but with a private entrance and your own car port. You will have your own privacy and space while still being close to all of Shepparton's amenities. Guest AccessAs our guests you will also have access to our swimming pool, tennis court (including racquets and balls), barbecue and outdoor dining area under the pergola. The flat is covered by our wifi. We are ideally situated in Kialla on the southern side of Shepparton, with plenty of space, but only 4km from the centre of town. Attractions include SPC Ardmona Factory Sales, Shepparton Art Museum and Shepparton Motor Museum. We are a 700m walk from Riverside Plaza; with Coles and Liquorland, Degani Bakery Cafe, and many other food and specialty shops. The Broken River path as well as the nearby Kialla Lakes are both lovely places for a walk. If you're coming to town for one of our many sporting events, the Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club (venue of Shepparton Easter Tournament and Goulburn Valley Junior Championships) and the venue of the Challenge Half Ironman are only 3.5km away. Interaction with GuestsWe are more than willing to have a chat over a drink with our guests. We have two young King Charles Cavaliers, both are very friendly. The NeighborhoodWe are in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood with the space of the country while still being close to town. Getting AroundWe are only 4km from the centre of town and it is an easy place to find your way around. We have a map available for your convenience. If you don't have access to a car, there is a supermarket and shopping plaza only a 10 minute walk away. Other Things to NoteGuests are able to use the tennis court and swimming pool during daylight hours. BBQ and outdoor dining area is also available for use.

    This modern stylish home away from home suits guests wanting a restful break any time of the year no matter the season. Perfect for a couple, friends sharing a getaway or the extended family holiday get together. The spacious open living area adjoins the dining area which can comfortably seat 6 people. The kitchen features a 900mm cook top and oven perfect for the entertainer. All necessary equipment is on hand. Supermarkets are located a short 5 minute drive away. Regular Sunday morning markets are located a short stroll from the property. The Moama Bowling Club is located a quick 2 minute walk away and local takeaways, cafes and restaurants are also within a short drive or phone call away. The beautifully appointed main bathroom with luxurious deep bath, will see you soaking for many a peaceful hour by candlelight. Upstairs you will find 3 spacious bedrooms (Queen sized beds), each bedroom has its own spilt system air conditioner and ceiling fan to keep you comfortable. Master bedroom has own private ensuite complete with walk in rain shower. All linen provided along with basic bathroom necessities. There are two downstairs living areas each complete with TV/DVD. Relax in the private rear secure courtyard with fully equipped outdoor kitchen to sit back and enjoy our renowned sunny warm weather. Smoking permitted outside using ashtrays provided.         The SpaceThe guesthouse aka King Billy Retreat, is a renovated shearing shed although the interior design is more reflective of an intimate gallery with art-work and cosy furniture in every room. The main kitchen and living area lead into a bedroom with queen-sized bed and large bathroom. The bedroom comfortably sleeps two people with an additional double sofa bed in the living space for children or an extra adult. The living area also leads out onto a lovely big north facing verandah decked out with comfy chairs and dining table for outdoor living. Guest AccessContinental breakfast is provided with the booking and guests have access to the organic orchard, vegie patch and chicken coop to prepare their own meals. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the landscape architect designed gardens and walk throughout the 40 acre property and surrounding bush-land which is especially good for bird-watching. Two mountain bikes are also available for (free) use on surrounding tracks. Interaction with GuestsIf we are present, we allow guests to have complete privacy unless they want help or information about anything in which case we are more than happy to oblige. The NeighborhoodOur neighbors are trees, fields and wide open spaces but the small village of Rushworth is only 3kms away and has all basic needs covered including a supermarket, chemist, bakery, butcher, cafe, pubs and most importantly, ice-cream shop! The Waranga Basin is also a short distance away for folks who enjoy water sports. We are 2kms from a nine hole golf course and a short drive (10mins) to the historic gold rush area of Whroo where you can learn about the gold rush and spend time in Box-Ironbark National Parks. Getting AroundParking for three cars is available at the guesthouse and Rushworth is approximately 2hrs north of Melbourne. For car-free travelers, a daily bus service leaves from Southern Cross Station, Melbourne (Mon-Fri) 4pm and arrives Rushworth 6.40pm. (Sat & Sun) leaves 5pm and arrives 7.30pm. From Rushworth a daily bus leaves for Melbourne at 8.50am and arrives at 11.30am. Echuca Back 9 Golf Club is just a couple of hundred metres from the door, while the historic Port of Echuca is an easy walk. 4 Bedrooms (King Master, 2 x Queen and 1 King or 2 King Singles) as well as 2 bathrooms (2 person spa) and two living area's make this a joy for couples catching up or families. Get outdoors along the walking/bike track, just a stones throw away, or unwind indoors on the over-size leather couches or 2 person spa. All facilities including BBQ with roasting hood to enjoy the outdoors and 10 person outdoor setting are on hand. Eyre Lodge allows you to be totally self-sufficient if you really just want to escape it all. Double remote lock up garage as well as off street parking for an additional 4 cars is available.
