The SpaceGatesi Villa is a stunning, tastefully furnished, spacious ambassadorial villa located in the picturesque town of Rwamagana which is just 45 minutes' drive from Kigali City. The villa boasts four bedrooms, three of which are standard bedrooms that also have wooden wardrobes. The villa has a main, master-ensuite bedroom that features a king-size bed. The spacious living room boasts comfy lounge sofas, large windows and flat-screen television set. There is also cable television to help enhance the entertainment factor. An airy dining area for eight is also provided next to a fully equipped modern kitchen. Within the compound is a self-contained servant quarter and an African kitchen.

OR Rent the whole house for $80 USD per night. Guest AccessJust 15-20 minutes up the main dirt road from Kaborando to Akagera National Park, Rwinkwavu's Eco-House is a two-hour drive from Kigali. Rwinkwavu is less than 25 minutes from the gates to the National Park. You can easily make an early morning game drive without having to be up before the sun. A detailed map for access will be provided for guests as the neighborhood roads are being upgraded currently. The NeighborhoodThe town of Rwinkwavu is home to one of the Partners in Health supported hospitals and the Wolfram mines. Rwinkwavu's hospital is a 10 minute walk from the house. The landscape is littered with old Belgium houses from the mining company for an interested walk through the neighborhood. Venturing out a bit further, you can hike the surrounding hills for views out over the landscape. Lots of little shops for groceries and supplies and a few local bars and eateries are there to choose from as well. Other Things to NoteInterested in being ecological in your travel? The Rwinkwavu Eco-House is a compressed earth block house built by a local social enterprise. The house is modern in design with the comforts of home, including a water tank, pump, refrigerator, freezer, and hot water heater. The toilets are designed as dry composting toilets that local farmers capitalize on for fertilizing their crops. The cleaning staff comes daily. Laundry service is included at the guest's request at no additional charge.
