The SpaceAs owners we look forward to retiring here one day soon, but in the meantime, we warmly welcome guests who wish to experience the peace, beauty and romantic ambience of our secret but well appointed hideaway. Unlike most holiday rentals on Bali, our rates are not seasonal, which means we do not raise them arbitrarily when demand is high. But don't let our low rates fool you, the value you receive in return in accommodation, service, and location is what other places charge several times our rates for. To get the best feel for our villa interiors/exteriors, our manicured tropical grounds, our fabulous beachside pool and our serene and spectacular surroundings, please look through our photos. Located on the north coast of Bali, our villa is "seaside" in the true sense of the word, sitting less than 30 meters back from the Bali Sea. In front of the villa and between it and the sea is our freshwater, freeform, infinity edge pool, an experience onto itself. Our fully furnished villa has 3 bedrooms, all air-conditioned and can sleep up to 6 adults. Most of our guests are couples or pairs of couples, that choose to stay with us for the serenity, remoteness, privacy and romantic setting that our location provides, not to mention the amenities of our property and personalized services of our staff. Our large villa incorporates marble and teak in the interior design and has a master bedroom, with a king sized bed and a large ensuite bathroom; a primary guest bedroom with a queen sized bed, and secondary bedroom with twin sized full length bunk beds; the guest bedrooms share a large bathroom in the adjoining hallway. The master bedroom also has a large digitally coded safe that guest can store their valuables in if they wish. Code is set/reset by guests. Our villa also has a living room with flat screen TV (satellite channels including CNN, Discovery, MTV, several English language movie channels, other language channels, sports channels, etc.) The living room looks out to the sea and adjoins a fully equipped European standard kitchen with gas hob, microwave, large refrigerator, toaster and water cooler with unlimited complimentary drinking water, plus much more. Uniquely, the villa is surrounded by it’s own lotus/fish pond, providing elements of Feng Shui and serving as a natural insect barrier. Sitting in the middle of the lotus/fish pond, our villa also has an “Alang Alang Bale” (grass thatched gazebo) with teak table and cushioned teak chairs where guests can choose to take their meals, laze away reading, or smoke if they wish. Smoking inside the villa is not allowed. Our beachfront open-sided “Ganesha” restaurant serves a selection of Indonesian and Western dishes and is the perfect place to take meals while watching the local fishermen go by in their outriggers. Guests can of course cook their own meals in the villa kitchen if they wish, though because of the convenience of our restaurant, quality of food and the relative low cost of our menu selections, it is rare for guests to choose to cook their own meals during their stay with us. The only two-story structure on our property is the open air sea-side meditation and wellness building; the downstairs is a favorite location for guests to read or meditate and the upstairs is where we offer our guests massages and facial treatments. Our property is unique and in a relatively remote, unspoiled, and unpolluted area of Bali. We are well away from the main tourism areas, and guests mainly come to stay with us to get away from it all. Literally at our door steps is a spectacular living coral reef (our house reef), that offers great opportunities for our guests to step out of their villa and right into the welcomingly warm Bali Sea for snorkeling. The seabed near the shore in our area of the north is mostly pebbles and coral, but the water is 1-1.5 meters deep for about 30 meters from shore then gradually drops to 3 meters, 6 meters and then into the dark depths. With a simple mask, snorkel and fins, guest can swim among the many tropical fish that abound here. With two additional villas on-site, we can accommodate larger parties, as well as host and help plan the perfect private wedding ceremony (legal or traditional) for guests wishing to have an unforgettable event at an idyllic location. We are located just off the quiet, picturesque north coast road in the village of Sambirenteng. Our location is a 45-minute drive from the former capital of Singaraja, and 90 minutes from Ubud, with Ngurah Rai International Airport, where all international flight arrive and depart at, being 3-3.5 hours drive. We have our own certified, insured and air-conditioned vehicle, and an experienced and licensed driver and can arrange for Airport pick-up/drop-off or pick-up/drop-off transfers from anywhere else on Bali. Guest AccessOur Sea-Side restaurant with a menu of mainly Indonesian and Balinese dishes, with a smattering of western favorites. Our Sea-Side Spa overlooking the Bali Sea. Interaction with GuestsWe have on-site staff and a sea-side restaurant offering full menu of Indonesian, Balinese, Thai and Western menu items and beverages. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte all day (7am-10pm) all of which can be served at our the sea-side, open plan, restaurant or brought to your villa (at your gazebo, outside patio area or inside living room). The NeighborhoodWe are located in the small Hindu village of Sambirenteng, population around 500. No shops, no bars, a couple local restaurants, no distractions other than the sun, the sea, and our infinity-edge pool overlooking it. Step into the warm Bali sea at your doorstep...hip deep for 30 meters then s gradual drop over coral reefs and then a drop into the depth. Great snorkeling and an abundance of sea life literally meters from your villa. We have a selection of masks, snorkels, and fins, but many of our guests bring their own. Life jackets are also available. Getting AroundFor transport to and from almost any location on Bali we have our own licensed drivers and insured vehicle and can arrange for fee based pick-up/drop-off of guests as well as ½ or full day excursions. Our staff can assist in renting scooters from our village. We recommend you have your own helmets and be familiar with driving/riding conditions on Bali. Other Things to NoteWe have two sea-kayaks for rent at very modest rates (one single and one tandem).
