The SpaceOur adobe brick home is located on the side of a hill overlooking picturesque Lake Chichoj near San Cristobal Verapaz in the mountainous highlands of central Guatemala. Our home has ceramic tile floors, and open ceiling joists revealing the laminated roof above, allowing the pleasant drum of rain on the roof to lull you to sleep at night. Guest AccessOur guestrooms are located in one half of the house, and we live in the other, but we connect in our big central livingroom/patio area. We serve meals either at our open kitchen counter, or at our enormous handmade log table. Interaction with GuestsMy associate Any Flores or myself are always available to answer your questions and help you get where you need to go, and do what you want to do. The NeighborhoodOur home is located in Aldea Nisnic. Our neighbors are primarily Pokomchi people of Mayan descent, speakers of an ancient Mayan language called Pokomchi, and descendants of the Mayan kings who ruled Central America in antiquity.
