The SpaceSTAY IN HAYES VALLEY...where all the cool people hang out. The place itself is on a quiet street (to help you get a good night's rest), but the bustling neighborhood is in the heart of the city. Everything is just steps away. In one direction you have Civic Center, including the SF Symphony, SF Opera House, SF War Memorial, City Hall, the Asian Art Museum and the SF Main Library. In the other direction you have the eclectic shops and fun restaurants of Hayes Valley! All of which are less than a five minute walk. BART and MUNI (buses, underground trains & street cars) are all easily accessible and within walking distance, too. My 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo is one of 4 units, located on the first floor (above ground level storage units) of a small, quiet building with a secured entry and intercom. All units are owned and occupied by friendly, considerate, respectful individuals. The unit's interior is the perfect size for 1-2 people. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking at home when you don't feel like going out. The living room has satellite TV, Apple TV, DVD player and a window with a view of the neighborhood. There are plenty of bed and bath linens, as well as a washer/dryer combo, making long stays even easier. There is also a heating unit if you're not used to those foggy San Francisco nights. Maid service is available upon request for an extra charge. The shared garden is accessible to all. Due to SF laws and zonings, there is no smoking allowed in the garden, the unit, or any other part of the building. However long your stay, I will do my best to make you feel at home and to accommodate your needs. San Francisco Short-Term Residential Rental Registration Number: STR-(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Possession of San Francisco Short-Term Rental Residential Certificate certifies that the registration certificate holder has agreed to comply with the terms of the San Francisco Short-Term Residential Ordinance(SF Admin. Code Section 41A). This ordinance does not require an inspection of the unit by the City for potential Building, Housing, Fire, or other Code violations. Guest AccessParking is not available, but a parking garage is located right across the street. The garage has daily and monthly rates available. The NeighborhoodHayes Vally is great. I've lived here for 10 years and love it. Great places to eat and shop. Biergarten, Smitten Ice Cream, Blue Bottle Coffee, Miette Candy Store, Gant, Steven Allen, SF bike rental and the list goes on. It's such a great neighborhood. Getting AroundSo easy to get around. The bus line is a block away and Muni and BART stops are 3 blocks away. If you're up to it, Union Square is a 20 minute walk.

The SpaceWelcome to 'Chez Valley' - a large, contemporary studio in the geographic heart of San Francisco. Beautifully remodeled, fully furnished and located on the ground floor of three story classic 1896 Victorian, the approximately 600 square foot space has its own private entrance and a wonderful open layout. The studio has ample room for two adults and a small child (bring your own travel cot), with an incredibly comfortable king-size bed with designer linens. The over-sized private bathroom features heated floors, his & hers sink, a deep luxurious tub and a separate walk in shower - perfect for unwinding after a day of shopping and sightseeing. We offer plush robes and 4 sets of towels for your comfort and convenience. The suite does not have a full kitchen, but we do provide a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker and toaster. You will also find two wine glasses, cereal bowls, dinner plates and basic utensils. Please note, dishes will need washing in the bathroom sinks. Chez Valley does not include a television, but you should be able to watch your favorite shows on tablets or laptops using the high-speed wireless internet. The suite is also stocked with maps, tour books and local publications to help you plan your daily adventures. Longer term rentals are welcome. Guest AccessGuests will have full access to the unit. If needed, there is plentiful storage accessible from the unit. Interaction with GuestsI live in the middle floor flat and should generally be reachable via phone or text during your stay if you need me. We like to greet guests upon arrival (if requested) and if you are interested, I'm happy to tell you lots of great things to eat and things to see. We can also leave you be if that's your preference. The NeighborhoodHayes Valley has been continuously voted one of the top neighborhoods in San Francisco for its vast array of restaurants and boutiques. The perfect place to live and even better place to visit. There is a small park just a few blocks away in the heart of the neighborhood with a biergarten, the world's most delicious ice cream stand, and a coffee bar. Ideally located for everything in the city, but also good for commuting south as we're only 2 blocks from the entrance to the 101 freeway. Just a step beyond Hayes Valley are some of San Francisco’s most bustling and exciting neighborhoods - walk five minutes east to the Civic Center, with the SF Opera, City Hall and several museums; ten minutes west and you’re in the heart of the Castro; and fifteen minutes south to the sunny Mission district, with its famous restaurants, murals, taquerias, and coffee shops. Getting AroundAll Major transit (Muni, BART, Street Cars and Buses) are within a couple blocks from the apartment. Very centrally located and extremely easy to get around. No car needed! Other Things to NoteYou can hear minimal street noise. You may also hear some noise (e.g. walking around) from our apartment (where I live with my husband and our one-year-old son), though we are a shoe free house and generally spend time in the back side of the house which isn't above the unit. However, ear plugs are provided for the light sleepers or sensitive to sound among you :)

My cats won't be here during your stay, but their furniture will be. Travelers with kitties welcome! Guest AccessYour stay includes: - Living room with surround sound and projector - Kitchen with gas stove and industrial strength hood - Real central heating (it's chilly in SF) - Heated floors in both bathrooms - Washer and dryer right in the house - Business class high speed wireless internet - Fireplace (Sorry, no TV or hairdryers available) Interaction with GuestsI will not be home, but I have the Airbnb app on my phone, so I will respond promptly should you need anything. The NeighborhoodAwesome places nearby: With less than 2 minutes of walking, you'll find Le Petit Crenn, Blue Bottle & Ritual Coffee, Octavia & Hayes park, Smitten ice cream, Chantal Guillon Macarons, and numerous restaurants, cafes, bars, and stores. Also within walking distance are the Symphony Hall, Opera House, Alamo Square, Lower Haight, and City Hall / Civic Center. Getting AroundAcross the street is the 21 MUNI bus, and within blocks are the 5, 6, 22, and 71 buses. The subway is a 10-minute walk. Pro tip: fastest way to downtown, other than Cab/Uber/Lyft, is a 10min walk to subways + 5min subway ride =) There are ZipCar pods 2 blocks away, and we're blocks away from HWY280, 101, and 80. Cabs are plentiful too. There is only street parking, and it's very crowded, so I would not recommend bringing a car here Other Things to NoteThere is only street parking, and it's very crowded, so I would not recommend bringing a car here STR-(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)

The 21 bus gets me to SOMA, and Bart gets me to the airport conveniently. The architecture in Hayes is some of SF's most classic, as many of these buildings have withstood the many earthquakes and fires that destroyed other parts of the city over the past 150 years. Be sure to stroll to Alamo square to see the Painted Ladies from the Full House and check out the Burning Man art in Patricia's Green. In addition there is an inflatable raised queen sized Aerobed that can be set up in the living room. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the studio, backyard, and washer/dryer in the garage The NeighborhoodHayes Valley is simply one of the city's most exciting enclaves. Just over a decade ago, Hayes Street lay under the shadow of Highway 101—but then city planners tore down the overpass and turned it into a lovely urban park called Patricia's Green. Now Hayes Valley is thriving at a truly remarkable rate, with every week bringing new restaurants and boutiques for a growing audience of foodies and fashion-forward locals. Getting AroundSan Francisco is one of the most walkable cities (if you don't mind the hills) in the country, and this apartment is an easy stroll to neighborhoods like the Lower Haight (5 minutes on foot), the Mission (10 minutes), Duboce Triangle (10 minutes), and the Castro (20 minutes). Public transportation offers many viable options for getting around, with close access to multiple bus routes leading all over the city. The Van Ness Muni (i.e., subway) station is five blocks away, and the Civic Center BART (i.e., light-rail) station is an eight-block amble. If you're a fan of bikes, rentals are available at Patricia's Green, and the city offers a number of cross-town bike routes for exploring on two wheels. (Street parking is available, but not recommended—spaces are limited and legal guidelines can be confusing for non-locals.)

The SpaceLocated on the top floor of an 1800's Victorian, this one bedroom apartment floods with natural light, has friendly neighbors and sits in one of San Francisco's cutest neighborhoods; Hayes Valley. There is so much to do close by that I doubt you will stay inside for most of your visit. However, I have done my best to organize this tiny space so that you feel at home during your stay. I do currently live in this space, but I travel often. Although I ask that you respect my personal items in the house, I do not mind sharing most of them. Please be courteous and leave personal items like clothes/shoes alone, but if you'd like to check out my record or book collection, use the stereo or play the instruments in the apartment, please help yourself! Guest AccessYou will have access to whole unit which is made up of the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies for your convenience. I cook often and have a wide variety of tools to make a delicious feast. Sitting by the kitchen window, the sun rays shining in, with a fresh brew is one of my favorite ways to start the day. Interaction with GuestsI will meet you upon arrival with keys and be able to answer any questions you may have. I will not be around during your stay, but will only be a phone call away if you need anything. The NeighborhoodHayes Valley is in the middle of everything! Right outside the front door is a small market with just about anything you might need, open 8-8. There are cafes, restaurants, bars, yoga studios, gyms and parks all within walking distance. You can rent bikes near Patricia's Green; the closest park and check out the bike paths to Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach. Walk to the Civic Center farmers market, Alamo Square Park, Haight Street, Market Street and The Mission all within minutes. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop a block away that will take you downtown or up towards Haight street. The Muni train is only a 5 minute walk and Bart is a 10 minutewalk. The closest Bart stops are Civic Center and 16th Street, this apartment is right in the center of the two. If you are driving, parking in Hayes Valley isn't too hard to find, there is usually street parking available with a short drive around the neighborhood. It is easy to find a cab at the nearest corner and of course there are always cab companies like lyft, uber and summon available. Other Things to NoteThis is a 1 bedroom with a private bedroom and kitchen. The bathroom is shared with my neighbor. The shower room is separate from the toilet and I never run into conflict of who's turn it is when it comes to using the bathrooms. The bathroom is located right outside the door of my unit. There are 3 units on this floor and two of us share the bathroom. The front unit has it's own amenities, the two back apartments are my one bedroom and my neighbors studio. My neighbor is great, she's in her 30s, very tidy and keeps to herself. Please respect this communal space and keep it tidy during your stay.
