The SpaceEnjoy a stay in a quiet, comfortable, safe, downstairs apartment midway between Ajijic and Jocotepec, and a short walk from the balnearios (geothermal water parks), the beautiful Lake Chapala lakefront, and the town of San Juan Cosala. Lake and mountain views offer additional peace and enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings.
The apartment features a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, living room, basic kitchen, dining alcove, bathroom, and small front porch. It's located one short block from the bus to Ajijic, Chapala, and Jocotepec. It's a 15-minute hop into Ajijic for local attractions, art, activities, restaurants, and more. It's an older, comfortable property-- nothing fancy.
The apartment is 638 sq. feet or 59.2 sq. meters. Guest AccessYour stay includes the use of the geothermal hot tub heated five days a week from our own well, a pool, an outdoor palapa dining area, an outdoor grill and seating area, and laundry facilities. The downstairs apartment shares the property with three other apartments, all occupied by nice, quiet, helpful people. Secure parking for one guest car is available. Interaction with GuestsWe're respectful of guests' privacy and also on-hand to answer questions and ensure any needs are met quickly and efficiently. The NeighborhoodWe're located in a quiet area midway between Ajijic and Jocotepec. The beautiful Lake Chapala lakefront is a short walk away, as are the town of San Juan Cosala and a nice walking trail in nature. Our property is secure, comfortable, and provides several outdoor seating areas to enjoy the surroundings. Getting AroundThe property is one short block from the bus to Ajijic, Chapala, and Jocotepec. We are on the mountain side, so the one-block walk to the bus does include a hefty incline and is not suitable for people who have trouble walking. Other Things to NoteThere are three medium-sized dogs on the property, as well as one Chihuahua. The bigger dogs are quiet, friendly, old, and will not bother guests. The Chihuahua is a recent rescue and will try to make himself at home if you let him. Additionally, we have three, free-ranging hens that provide a surprising amount of entertainment, tranquility, and fun.
