    Too cute! Casa de Castillo Fully furnished 2 bedrooms + 1 bath + cellar Newly renovated 1932 Spanish guest house with just the right mix of vintage charm and modern amenities. Coved ceilings for those that love them. Completely new kitchen with granite countertops, range, microwave, refrigerator, fully outfitted with dishes and all. Original vintage tile in place in the bathroom for those that appreciate all things vintage. Comfy bedroom with 1 queen sized bed and a TV. Second bedroom has cool bunk beds with a twin bed in the upper bunk and a full size bed for 2 on the the bottom bunk. This room comes with a writing desk for you to work on your laptop or use as an office and take breaks on the bed. ;-) Outside lounge area with hotel quality furniture for that afternoon read, outdoor lunch,or BBQ. The Port of Los Angeles is one of the world's largest port with huge shipping containers, cruise ships, and tours to Catalina. The town is made up of long term residents from predominately Croatia, Italy, and Mexico. It is a very eclectic mix of people who are proud of their port town.

With a modest 430 sqft, the view will most definitely be your favorite part about the unit. Imagine getting sleepy, watching the city lights and listening to the waves crash. But it's also definitely well outfitted with the best of everything. Queen size tempurpedi-like mattress with down feather topper on wood sleigh bed. The comforter is down as well. Community balcony outside of front door. Lots of name brand stuff. Yes ladies, my Cortex High speed hair dryer will have your hair dry in minutes! New bevel edged subway tiled shower enclosure. Sheer & block out window shades. Stove, small refrig, toaster, french press, coffee grinder & maker, utensils, knives, & cookware. 52in flat screen on rotating arm. Comfortable suede L shaped couch with chaise & bar with 2 modern stools. Easy access! Contact host within 24 hrs of your stay to receive the codes for both entry to bldg & unit. The suite door locks & unlocks by entering the code, getting the green light, & turning the knob. Password for Wifi is on the house manual in the kitchen. Netflix ready. The ihome player will play iPhones 4 through 6. Nice towels, Lotions, Shampoos, conditioners, soaps provided. Laundry Room coin operated & conveniently located down the hallway. Parking lot in rear. There is no cleaning fee but you are expected to leave unit in the same condition received, sparkly! My cleaning lady is available if you don't wish to clean but don't make a terrible mess. Leave $30 or a note for her to clean if you wish to use her services. Absolutely no smoking inside my place. There is a 14.00 % CA and Los Angeles tax rate on stays of 30 days or fewer. Guest AccessThere's no keys! Entry codes are available upon request 24 hrs prior to arrival. The entire unit and the laundry room and community balcony are there for your use. No chatting on the balcony past 10pm. Getting to the unit: The parking lot is at the end of an alley that's accessible from Pacific, between 38th and 39th St. The gate to the building is the ornate brown one with the key pad on it. Contact host for code within 24 hrs of stay. To get to the unit, stick to the right, taking the 8 steps toward the screen door. You'll pass thru an outdoor patio doing this and the laundry room, which is the first door on the R side. ($1.50 for wash, $1.75 dry). The unit will be on the right side at the very end of the hall, #8. When you walk in, the light switch is located above the refrigerator on the right side The balcony can be used 8am-9pm for relaxing, enjoying a glass of wine, reading, etc. After 9pm a talking voice transmits into bedrooms of neighbors. Interaction with GuestsYou might run into residents of the building, The Riviera, so when you do, say "Hi!" With the access codes, there's no need to meet me. You can come and go as you please. Check-in yourself, anytime after 1pm. Ask for access codes & arrival info within 24hrs of arrival. Becareful, if you decide to sit on the balcony & take advantage of the view, do so before 9pm as a talking voice travels thru the windows of my neighbors bedrooms. The NeighborhoodBeing so close to the beach is great but during the summer months the beach does tend to get a little noisy- hence! the ear plugs on the bedside table or bar. No crimes in the area last I looked. Its located in a unique little corner of coastal San Pedro called Point Fermin. You'll notice, driving down Pacific, how it changes from the downtown area to the beachy end town. Tons of movies and tv shows are filmed in the area. Definitely check out my guidebook which I spent hours on putting together which has all my recommended places to go to in the area. Getting AroundThere's a bus stop a few small blocks away at Pacific and 36th but in LA you will want a car to get around. Parking is at the rear of the building and on the streets. I recommend using Uber or UberX for transportation or renting a car. I love Uber! Ask for my promo code & get $15 off your first ride Easy walk down to Cabrillo Beach & great breakfast hot spots Lighthouse Cafe & Pacific Diner. A short drive will take you to Rex's, The Omelette & Waffle Shop & The Corner bakery. In the mid-afternoons, when the wind picks up, you can see wind surfers in the Cabrillo Beach cove, outside the front windows. Dolphin sitings are common. Alcapulco's near Ports O'Cal is a great place to watch the cargo ships pass by in the harbor. All full detailed guidebook of all my recommended places to go is on Airbnb.     The SpaceStep back in time with this fully restored 1924 California Bungalow. Located in a quiet neighborhood of Vista del Oro in San Pedro (next to Averill Park.) This house features 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, a living room, dining room, fully equipped 50s style kitchen, bathroom, high speed wi-fi Internet access, a small television, a large back yard with patio furniture, outdoor cooking appliances and heaters. A long driveway and large garage allow parking for multiple cars. The adjacent communities are Palos Verdes, Long Beach and Redondo Beach. Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Venice, LAX and Culver City are about 30 minutes away depending on traffic. San Pedro has a small Downtown with quaint independent shops, a coffee house, theatre, its own brewing company, a few good restaurants and plenty of awesome ethnic foods. Ports O’ Call down the street in the harbor offers many fun eateries and fish markets. The bluffs on the west side of the peninsula are spectacular and provide many hiking trails. Cabrillo Beach offers a sand beach and of course, the marina is where Transpac and other sailing races take off from. Depending on why you’re here, I can give you plenty of recommendations of what to do or see, when and where. I go out a lot and I’m plugged into the music and art scene in and around the city. LA is so big that without an insider, it’s easy to get lost and miss out on the really cool and fun (and often times, free!) stuff to do. A note about San Pedro. San Pedro is a suburb of Los Angeles situated at the southern end of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Many residents have Italian and Croatian origins, as well as Portuguese, Mexican, Irish and Greek, in part because of the commercial fishing history and also the similarity in landscape and weather to the Mediterranean. It’s a small coastal town with a little Downtown, with restaurants and bars, fish markets, independent shops and plenty of local color. There is also a vibrant artistic community who came to escape LA’s overcrowding, traffic and high rents. San Pedro could be the last real village in Southern California. If you want to book the house for yourself, you need to book it for two; that's my minimum. Also, I'm now only accepting reservations for a minimum of 5 days. Finally, please note that I've set my prices on the low end so please don't ask for a discount.

My apartment has cable tv with very fast internet all through the (URL HIDDEN) is located within 30 miles of all of the best places to visit in LA, so if your visiting from out side the country it's the perfect spot to be in. I'm 30 miles from, LA, Disneyland, Hollywood, Hermosa beach, Redondo beach, Orange county, Torrance and Long beach.       The SpaceThis large private bedroom is approx. 12 feet X 16 feet it has a great very comfortable full size bed with a box spring and almost new (URL HIDDEN) has lots of closet space . You are welcome to join us in the living room where we have a large 50 inch new flat screen television with approx. 250 channels.The large kitchen has a seating area and all required items for you to cook your own meal or you can eat with us for a nominal fee. , especially if you like mexican food.the shared bathroom is next to your bedroom and has a tub and and a stall shower and wc. we are situated near the los angeles harbor in san pedro about 5 minutes from the port cruise ship terminal. long beach is approx. 15 min. beverly hills, hollywood, santa monica, venice beach and malibu approx. 45 minutes by car after the heavy morning traffic. the beaches are approx. 10 min from our place and the bus stops on the corner. Several local restaurants ,coffee shops and markets are within walking distance. We are in a quiet residential area with lots of street parking. there is a patio in back with a large bbq for your use if so desired. we can pick you up from the local airport or cruise ship terminal for a fee if required. There also are several museum and art galleries nearby and of course disneyland and knotts berry farm is about a 45 minutes ride (ask us about discount tickets). Besides english we speak spanish and dutch and some french which may be of help to you. we will try to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible and interaction is all up to our guest, we are gay friendly. los angeles airport is approx. 45 min to our place but if you have a chance to go via long beach airport that would be highly recommended because of the traffic situation. I grew up in Southern California and can give you tons of suggestions for things to do. Long Beach is approx. 15 min. over the bridge. Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Malibu are approx. 45 minutes by car after the heavy morning traffic. The beaches are approx. 10 min away. My favorite beaches, Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach with tons of great restaurants, bars and volleyball are 30 minutes away. Take full advantage of the deck with amazing views of the harbor. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary cooking tools. Feel free to use anything you find in the refrigerator, freezer, pantry or on the bar cart. There is also a microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher. If BBQing is more your style, I have a propane tank and BBQ tools for the common area BBQ. If you need to do laundry, there are coin operated machines on site. I have laundry detergent and dryer sheets that you can use. I also have plenty of beach towels and reusable tote bags if you plan to hit the beach or go shopping. For long term rentals a housecleaner will be included to come in once every two weeks. I will be present to welcome you to San Pedro and show you the property. If you need anything, I am local. Downtown San Pedro has many shops, galleries and restaurants to explore, as well as a "First Thursday" Artwalk on the first Thursday of each month with the famed LA Foodtrucks, (Check out my favorite, the Grilled Cheese Truck) music, and gallery openings. If you are driving in, there is a secure parking space available for you in the garage with remote control access.       The SpaceWe are pleased to offer a Mediterranean style vacation Villa on Catalina island at the prestigious Hamilton Cove Luxury Resort. The Villa is in the most desireable location as it is a true endunit, it is not sandwiched in between other units but has Nature to the north side and only shares the south side with another Unit. You have Ocean and Nature views, it also has a Fireplace which makes for cozy evenings overlooking the ocean. Newly installed Bamboo flooring adds an island touch of luxury along with a designer couch which folds out into a very comfortable queen size bed and a designer leather chair with ottoman. The Villa boasts a very spacious and airy indoor outdoor style of living with 3 double doors (most 1 bedrooms do not have the extra Office/Den with the addtl. set of double doors) opening to a gorgeous balcony with breathtaking views. The resort features 2 Tennis courts a pool, jacuzzi, Sauna, Gym, Volleyball court and croquet court. We also offer the use of our golf cart to get around the island. Please note that the golf cart is considered a free of use bonus to the rental but not a service which we are obligated to provide. In case of mechanical problems with the golf cart we are not obligated to supply a replacement. In case of any emergency please contact us immediately. You need to provide a valid Drivers license and proof of insurance in order to drive the golf cart. On Catalina island Golf carts are treated like regular cars, you have to obey traffic laws (complete stop at stop signs etc.) as the local police will enforce them. We also offer 2 queen-size air beds. We also have 2 single fold-out military-style canvas fold-out cots. The sofas can also be slept upon. We have sheets/blankets for you. Feel free to let us know anything else you may need and we will probably be able to provide it. Kitchen features granite countertops, breakfast bar, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, gas stove/oven, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker. WE PROVIDE: dishes/flatware, kitchen/bath towels, bedding, dish & bath soap/shampoo, and enough laundry detergent for your first 2 loads. The two bedrooms have queen-size beds & bedding. You'll live in the urban oasis of the coastal "Point Fermin" area of San Pedro, perhaps LA's last true "village" town, nestled atop towering ocean side cliffs at Palos Verdes Peninsula's southernmost tip. It's always about 10 degrees cooler here from ocean breezes. There's a mini-mart, The Lighthouse Deli, Pacific Diner, and a bus stop all within half a block. You're also within 3 blocks of the sandy shore of Cabrillo Beach, Pt. Fermin park & outdoor stage, Paseo del Mar (LA's only true shoreline ocean cliffs), Angel's Gate Park, and Fort MacArthur. Walk, ride, or use our bikes! You've probably seen scenes from the neighborhood in various movies (Pirates of the Caribbean, Fast & Furious, Catch Me If You Can, Batman and Robin, The Usual Suspects, etc, etc). Although there is a bus stop (Bus route 246) about 50 yards away, your probably best off with a car to get around. There is a lot to do within walking/hiking/biking distance though, including the parks & attractions and beach. SO MUCH TO DO! Within a couple of blocks you can see panoramic views of the huge cruise ships and cargo ships entering the Los Angeles Cruise Terminal & Long Beach port, the St. Thomas Vincent bridge, the Cabrillo Lighthouse, and incredible ocean views from the cliffs over 100 feet high just a couple of blocks away. 2 blocks to Angel's Gate Park (see (website hidden)). 3 blocks to Point Fermin Park (open green park, live plays, whale watching) - outstanding! 3 blocks to Paseo Del Mar (stunningly beautiful panoramic ocean views) 3 blocks to Point Fermin Park The Point Fermin Lighthouse of San Pedro Harbor - a local historic attraction that is just one of the many things to see at Point Fermin park. 3 blocks to the Los Angeles Harbor Lighthouse AKA Angel's Gate Light is a local historic attraction. This can actually be seen from the street steps from your front door.
