Better in Belize Ecovillage is located in a tropical rainforest on vibrant Vaca Lake, part of the Macal River Valley, in the spectacular Cayo District of Belize, Central America. Our Belize eco community is located 10 Â˝ miles southeast of the village of Benque Viejo Del Carmen. The land is hilly as it is part of the foothills of the Maya Mountain range. The headwaters of the Macal River originate in the Maya Mountains and flow down past Better In Belize to the town of San Ignacio.
