A large plasma TV with Dstv/cable and wifi are included. The kitchen is fully equipped with a smeg oven, fridge, microwave and washing machine. The spacious patio with views towards the ocean, and Signal Hill, create an opportunity to enjoy some outside space. The bathroom has a trendy shower, soft towels, as well as beach towels provided, so you don't need to pack these. There is also now a fan for those hot summer nights and gas heater for cold winter nights. Over all an amazing studio apartment that is spacious, light, bright and stylish, ideal for one or two people. The apartment is a three floor walk up in a secure small apartment block with one off street parking bay, located in a quiet trendy area, walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the beach front promenade. There is no lift in the block so just a note, it is a three story walk up, or one can use the back entrance where its a two story walk-up.
Coffee, tea and wine and of course me to welcome you. Guest AccessThe guests have access to everything in the apartment, full access into the apartment block using their security tags supplied. There are no other amenities in the building, this is glorious Cape Town, you want to be out and about :) Interaction with GuestsI meet all the guests, and provide a welcome pack, that includes a bottle of wine, and includes a list of favourite restaurants, tips on what hot in the city, fun activities, suggested wine farms, hikes, beaches etc. Always happy to interact when and if a guest needs or want me to. Have taken guests up Lions Head and Table Mountain on walks, and happy to do it again. Love my city, happy to share it. The NeighborhoodWhat I love most about the neighbourhood is that it is so close to everything. One of the most beautiful promenades along the ocean where one can walk, run, or cycle for miles, is within walking distance. Each morning and evening it is a delight of fit, healthy bodies running, walking and exercising along the strip. This same promenade, known as the Sea Point Promenade, leads to the WaterFront, a glorious combination of world class shopping and incredible restaurants, with ocean and mountian views. We are also within walking distance to the famous Soccer Stadium surrounded by beautiful parks, for your indulgence. We are on the bus route, and easy driving distance to Cape Town glorious beaches, sunset strip of Camps Bay, the city and Table Mountain. Three Anchor Bay is a trendy residential area, where you will meet locals rather than tourists. Within walking distance is an array of popular coffee shops, breakfast bars, restaurants and a selection of grocery shops. Getting AroundThe apartment is on the My City Bus Transport route. One has to buy a pass for the bus, which is easy to do, either at the airport or at various locations in Cape Town. Once you have the bus pass, the bus is easy to use with the City, to the beaches, Camps Bay and now Hout Bay. Being so central there are many taxis services, number which I would provide in the apartment. If you are driving, the area is central and easy to get around, plus you have a parking bay. If you enjoy walking, you are really within walking distance to just about everything. We do have cheap local taxis,called Mini Taxi that you can jump on and off between short distances, especially from the apartment to the beaches close by. They are quick and safe during the day, but not advisable in the evening, or for long distances. Uber is very active and a cheap option. Other Things to NoteShould you require a cleaner can be provided at R200, the apartment will be cleaned, should you require a change of linen the cost is R350 for all.
The apartment is on the third floor, and it is a walk up with no lift access. It's an easy walk up, and I have had guests of all ages and lots of luggage, with no problem.
