Three large bedrooms; Queen bedroom (main house) next to brand new bathroom with the Family sleeping retreat (one metre across courtyard) Queen bed and own bathroom, with full sized King sized bunks in separate adjoining room. For those where a good nights sleep is all important, the beds are the same luxuriant type as those found in Westin Hotels. You'll also find a new gourmet kitchen with everything you need, with lounge/dining seamlessly flowing onto the new enlarged deck via sliding doors. Guest AccessLocal Attractions From the house, nature and bush abounds, there is excellent bird watching with both rainforest birds and birds of prey, you can even feed the local family of kookaburras by hand. Quolls and koalas are also native to the area and can often be seen towards sunset. Children and pets are most welcome and are well catered for in our relaxed beach cottage, there is lots to keep them entertained with swimming, surfing, fabulous snorkeling in the marine reserve and rock pool exploring. Then there are the sand dunes at Treachery and Lighthouse beaches, rocks to climb and great biking through the national park. Adults can enjoy the surf or lake fishing, take walks along the beach or relax under the trees on the grass. Foster with its many restaurants and amenities is only half an hour away - grab a table by the water and some seafood for lunch at the fishing co-op while you are there! The Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse precinct offers 3 self-contained heritage cottages nestled on the hill below the lightstation. Built in 1875, they offer newly restored and beautifully appointed old world charm. Our Headkeeper's 3 bedroom cottage sleeps up to 6 comfortably (8 maximum) and 2 Assistant Keepers' cottages, both sleep up to 4 comfortably (6 maximum). All cottages have modern conveniences including flat screen TV, DVD, electric heating, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Your cottage will be prepared with bed and bath linen for your stay. Each cottage has an abundance of outdoor space with private BBQ facilities. All cottages - accept 3 night weekend stays (from 2.00 pm Friday to 10.00 am Monday) Summer, Autumn and Sring school holidays - accept weekly bookings only Headkeeper's cottage - accept 4 midweek night stays (from Monday to Friday) Assistant Keepers' cottages (2) - accept 2 midweek night stays either Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday. Guest AccessEach of the 3 cottages is completely self contained, including fully equipped kitchen and bathroom ... your cottage is prepared with bed and bath linen for your arrival. The cottages lie within a National Park where by day visitors enjoy walking up to the lighthouse. However ... when the Park is closed between sunset and sunrise ... the wonder of a working lighthouse is yours to privately behold. Interaction with GuestsOur onsite office is open 7 days for guests' convenience. We respect our guests' privacy ... however, many like to pop into the office for a chat. The NeighborhoodSeal Rocks is a sleepy unspoilt fishing village set in Myall Lakes National Parks. Guests are attracted to Sugarloaf's natural beauty, pristine long beaches, rocky coves ... they swim, dive, snorkel, fish, surf, beach comb, discover hidden rock pools and outstanding views to the horizon. Getting AroundAccess is by road (the final 2 klms of are currently being sealed). Guests' vehicles are garaged within the lighthouse area, a short distance from the cottages. Williamtown Airport (Newcastle) is 1.5 hours to the south where vehicle hire is available.

                      The SpaceNorma's is one of the premier beach houses in Seal Rocks with incredible ocean views towards Smiths Lake, Boomerang each, Blueys beach and beyond. The house is situated right on tranquil Boat beach - so close you can nip back to the house for extra ice for your G&T on the beach as the sun sets. The shop is 100m up the road and Number 1 beach and Lighthouse beaches are both also within walking distance. Treachery and Yagon are up the road. Location Seal Rocks is around three hours drive north of Sydney and remains unspoilt and virtually unchanged by time. Surrounded by Myall Lakes national park the area is known for its pristine beaches, fantastic fishing, spectacular diving, and breathtaking coastline. Seal Rocks is the perfect getaway. Seal Rocks also provides easy access to the Great Lakes and scenic regional towns including Smiths Lake, Blueys Beach, Boomerang Beach, Pacific Palms and Forster. Booti Booti National Park is a short (15 minute) drive and is highly recommended as is the Wallingat National Park -including Wallingat creek if you have a small boat/dingy and incredible veiws from Whooti Whooti look out. There is good mountain biking in the fire trails and gravel roads around Seal Rocks and the nearby national parks - ask the owner for a few tips. The NeighborhoodSeal Rocks has some of the most pristine beaches in the world. There are 3 beaches less than 1km from the house (walking distance) and 2 other beaches within a 5 minute drive. Boat Beach and Number 1 Beach are the nearest to the village and are great beaches for kids. Lighthouse and Treachery Beach are the main surf beaches although Number 1 also has waves in the right (Northerly or big SE) conditions. You can drive a 4WD onto Lighthouse Beach. Yagon is at the end of our road and is less frequently visited so can be quieter. It also has surf and you are more likely to get a wave on your own here. Did I mention surfing? Well the best thing about Seal Rocks is that its on the end of a Peninsula. That means, whatever winds are thrown at you, you'll probably find somewhere good to get a wave and surf. There is plenty of rock and beach fishing on many of the beaches. Boats can access the deep water fishing by launching from Boat Beach (requires good conditions). Getting AroundSeal Rocks is only accessible by car. You can park out the front on the grassy area at the bottom of the stairs.
