The NeighborhoodSeapoint is a very metropolitan part of Cape Town. Along main road you will find shops, grocery stores, restaurants and pubs. Just a short 200m walk down the road to Beach Road will have you on the atlantic seaboard promenade. Getting AroundThere is a MyCiti Bus stop just at the bottom of the apartment block on Main Road. The MyCiti bus will take you anywhere in Cape Town. Be sure to check the routes online. Alternatively I recommend using Uber as a taxi service if you don't have a car and don't want to use the public transport. An Uber into town will cost you around R50. And an Uber to the beach will cost you around R50 from the apartment aswell. Other Things to NoteThe apartment is currently undergoing some construction. So if you book now the apartment will look a bit different when you arrive. Same structure etc. just a bit of a facelift. Check back on my listing in a week to see the updated pictures.

There is a hip restaurant below the apartment called La Vie as well as many fantastic restaurants and shops within a 3 minute walk! A fantastic promenade & beach is literally on our doorstep and its a lovely 20 minute walk to the V&A Waterfront . Getting AroundMyCiti bus stop in front of flat and mini-busses and taxis along Main Rd. We are super central!

      The SpaceThe flat is fully furnished and equipped and the available room is furnished with a double bed, cupboard space, a table and chair. Uncapped wireless internet is available at no additional charge and satellite TV is available in the living room (not that you’ll want to spend your time in Cape Town in front of the TV). The bathroom is shared (with me) and has a bath and shower (in the bath). There are plenty of bath and beach towels if you need them. Parking is available on the street outside the building. So you can easily get into the city, the Waterfront, to the amazing beaches, and explore the fantastic suburbs of Camps Bay and Hout Bay.

      The SpaceCompared to other flats on the Atlantic seaboard, ours has a frontal sea-facing balcony (many only have side views); a top floor location which is very safe; and an indoor parking spot in the garage which is hard to come by - parking on the street is more risky in regards break-ins. It is a stone's throw away from the beach and promenade but yet much quieter as it is not directly on beach road. Lastly the 2 full bed- and bathrooms make it comfortable for 4 people and the well equipped kitchen plus barbecue an excellent spot for a lazy lunch or dinner on the balcony if you don't feel like going out... Guest AccessThe entire flat, the communal areas (hallways, lift, reception), the garage. Interaction with GuestsWe will try to be here to welcome the guests; if we can't we will ask a friend to do this for us. We have a welcome and information pack ready with all kinds of useful tips including for the flat, the area and Cape Town in general. There is a Red Hop On, Hop Off Bus stop within 5 minutes walking distance. There is a steady supply of metered taxis a few steps from the front door of the building. Uber is an excellent, safe, fast and affordable way to get around the city; from the apartment to the Waterfront or City Centre it takes approximately 10 minutes (around R30). The whole apartment is newly rennovated, making sure you stay in the newest taste and luxury. I tried to cover the most important aspects of a travellers desires: great bedding with fresh and cosy linen, a modern bathroom with an amazing shower, and a gourmet kitchen that teases you to make use of it. When arriving at self catering units one usually has to buy salt pepper oil etc.. just for a week or weekend. Not this time! This kitchen is fully stocked with every condiment and spice you would desire, and if it doesn't have it, just write your needs on the chalk board and our swift and skilled team will gladly make it appear. The bialetti coffee pot on the smeg gas stove makes the most amazing coffee imaginable, and being a coffee fanatic, I make sure I supply you with the best. The shower is white and crisp with a nice strong flow and amazing shower head, something that is always important to me when travelling. The big open balcony is also a winner, ensuring you can stand outside and smell the fresh atlantic breeze coming in, or just enjoy a nice breakfast or romantic dinner outside. And just to add the finishing touch, with spectacular views of lions head mountain from the front of the apartment, this makes for amazing sundowners or early morning coffee. The NeighborhoodThe apartment is situated in one of the trendiest areas of Cape Town where you will always find a unique hussle and bussle. Amazing restaurants, night clubs, spas and convinience stores are all walking distance away. In the mood for a run or just a walk next to the ocean? The Sea Point promenade is well known for being the spot to enjoy a nice run next to the ocean, and is situated 100m away from the apartment. There are many west facimg beaches in the area as well, which makes for amazing sun downers. This is truly one of the greatest areas in South Africa, let alone Cape Town. Getting AroundIn Cape Town we have a public bus system called mycity bus. It is a convinient way to travel from the airport and in and around the city. There are two mycity bus portals situated near my apartment, each being about 150m away, which makes travelling extremely easy. Rental cars are also often used by my guests and have never had hassles in the area, it is extremely safe and rental car friendly. Taxis are also often used and i recommend either excite taxis, uber or unicab, all great, safe and respected companies.

      This is a really good well run 4* hotel with first class facilities including 24 hour reception service, concierge facilities, 18 hour room service, babysitting facilities, fully equipped business centre, laundry, shoe shining, ironing and valet services, off street parking as well as satellite TV and Internet access. A great place to stay if you want to be close to the sea and Cape Town's best beaches. AHJ0608 A modern building that has recently been renovated. It is eight storeys tall. The excellent Cape Manor is located in the beautifully tree lined Marais Road on the Sea Point promenade in Cape Town. With spectacular views of Table Mountain and the breath taking Atlantic Ocean, the hotel is beautifully located between the cdity centre and cape Town's best beaches. It is a 5 minute drive to the Victoria & Albert Waterfront.

      The SpaceThe apartment is a large (150m-sq) airy space. There is an open balcony overlooking the promenade and ocean with full-retracting sliding doors leading into a large communal living area. Elegant minimalist design throughout. It has 2 large en-suite bedrooms as well as a separate study which includes a comfortable sleeper-couch. In addition there is a separate bathroom for visitors. Centrally located on Beach Road, one can really enjoy the all the conveniences of Seapoint with shops and great restaurants just a short walk away. 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to both the V&A Waterfront and Clifton Beaches. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the full apartment. The apartment includes access to laundry and an off-street garage parking for one vehicle. Interaction with GuestsMyself or my sister Karin are always on hand to welcome guests on arrival, show you around and tell you about interesting things to do and see in the area.
