The NeighborhoodThis is a quiet tree-lined community blocks from the Severn River. Safe on-street parking is included. I am 7 miles from Annapolis, 17 miles from Baltimore and 39 miles to D.C. Getting AroundThere is bus transportation to Annapolis, Baltimore and D.C. I can help with that too, if necessary! Uber , taxi's and Lyft is also available in the area. I am also sometimes available to transport guests for a small fee. Other Things to NoteIf I do allow a pet, there will be a $100 non-refundable cleaning fee added. There is also a $100 cleaning fee added if reservation is longer than one month. I welcome long term guests at an affordable rate or weekend visitors. Long-term rentals (1 month or more) require a $100 security deposit, depending on length of stay. Children are also welcome.

You will have your own house key and can lock your bedroom. The NeighborhoodThis is a quiet, water privileged community. My home is a very short walk to The Severn River and beaches. And have you been to Annapolis? - it is fantastic! Getting AroundYou will be a short walk to public transportation for Annapolis and Baltimore. Uber , taxi's and Lyft are easily accessible. I can even sometimes help with transport for a small fee. Other Things to NoteNo candle burning please. There is a $100 cleaning fee charged for guests who stay one month of more.

The SpaceI have a 4 bedroom home, with plenty of space for privacy, as well as common areas. I have 3 bedrooms that can be rented. There may sometimes be other guests, so you would have to share the bathroom. Each guest is given a bathroom tote so you can keep your toiletries with you. Bathroom sharing always seems to work out. All rooms have private locks. Guest AccessGuests will have use of the entire home. Just ask if you need to cook, use the refrigerator, or do laundry. In nice weather, enjoy a quiet screened -in porch or a walk to the Severn River. Interaction with GuestsI am out of the home a lot, but will be available to you when needed! I enjoy my privacy, but also love to interact with guests. Your privacy will be respected. I know the area well, so have a wealth of information about MD.-D.C. The NeighborhoodMy neighborhood is in a quiet town, just minutes from the Severn River. I am just 7 miles from Annapolis (but no parking hassles here!), 17 miles from Baltimore, and 35 miles from D.C. I have lived here along time, so just ask if you need info about this lovely part of the world! Getting AroundThere is public transportation to Annapolis, Baltimore and D.C.     The SpaceThis house includes a master suite with a king size bed, bathroom and office area , a 2nd bedroom with two twin beds, large walk in closet, family room with queen size sleeper sofa, a 2nd full size bathroom, spacious kitchen with all the cooking essentials, and sunroom/dining room. The deck has comfortable lounge chairs on which to enjoy the beautiful water views and relax with the sounds of nature. There is plenty parking in the driveway, and there is one space available in the carport to keep your car out the of elements. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire house, with exception of the basement and an unfinished room in the back. The deck and gazebo is also available for your enjoyment. The pier may be used to launch your own kayak or for fishing after signing waiver. Interaction with GuestsI will be available for assistance if needed, otherwise my guests will be free to enjoy their stay without my presence. The NeighborhoodThis cottage is located in a quiet waterfront neighborhood. Grocery store is a 5 minutes drive. Restaurants and other shops are less than 10 minutes away at the intersection of Route 100 and Mountain Road. Other Things to NoteThis is a single family home, so please be respectful of the property and neighbors. No smoking allowed in the house. No parties allowed.

    The SpaceBuilt in 1904 as the boat house for the community, this craftsman style house was torn down to its foundation several years ago. The exterior was rebuilt to its original structure, and the interior is now a huge open-floor-plan space . All windows and stunning water views, it is the perfect retreat for a holiday with family or friends. Over 3000 sq.ft. plus deck and screened porch. The 1400 square foot main room boasts: -Huge professional open kitchen, fully appointed with service for 20. All appliances you'd need, including coffee maker, Vitamix, Breville Juicer, etc. Blue Star professional oven with 6 burners/2 ovens/grill and pot filler -Dining table comfortably seats 10 -Large fireplace -Comfy living room overlooking the water -Large screened porch and deck overlooking the water -In-ceiling Bose sound system with zones Alongside, our sunken den has a huge TV with cable, all the movie channels, Netflix and Amazon prime, and surround sound. 3 large bedrooms sleep 10, plus a nursery. -The master bedroom is located on its own floor above, with a firm queen sized bed and a zen bathroom featuring a huge airjet tub, shower with steam room, and a heated toilet seat. - A small nursery is also located on the master floor, complete with crib, humidifier, and sound machine. -On a level below the main floor (not basement) are two additional bedrooms each with a large full bath ensuite. Both bedrooms sleep four, with two beds in each room. Exterior has fenced yard for dog, large gas grill, and firewood. Interaction with GuestsWe rented our previous home in downtown Annapolis on airbnb for several years, so we are very experienced hosts. We are available by phone and email at all times, and have family nearby to help in the event that we are not. The NeighborhoodThe community of Round Bay was originally a summer resort town, built in the early 1900s. It is unique for its wooded setting along the river. Many of the homes, likes ours, date back to that early time, updated with all the modern amenities you could need. Our house is located steps from the community's "Main Beach," with: -a netted swimming area and diving board -pavilions with electricity and grills - a fire pit - a playground and field for lawn games - toilets The neighborhood also has 3 docks and winding roads for walks. We are just a short walk from the Baltimore Annapolis trail, a wonderful paved pedestrian trail for dog walkers/joggers/cyclists. Follow that trail 1 mile up to Olde Severna Park for amenities such as restaurants, coffee, ice cream and shopping. We are a 15 minutes drive to Historic Annapolis, less than 30 minute drive to downtown Baltimore, and 45 minutes to Washington DC. BWI airport and Amtrak are just 20 minutes away. Other Things to NoteWe live on a shared driveway and parking is limited. A maximum of 4 cars may be parked in the driveway, in designated spots. There is additional street parking, but we suggest limiting the number of vehicles in your group to 4.

BWI is just a 20 min drive away. If you're arriving by plane we will be more than happy to collect you from the airport free of charge Other Things to NoteThe Baltimore Annapolis bike trail runs at the back of our house, it is a wonderful facility for running, walking or biking. It is a very short walk into Severna Park, with Annapolis just 7 miles away.

      The SpaceThis unit is an in-law suite connected to a single family home on a couple acres of land. There is a private entrance, the door to the main house has been closed off and a sound barrier put between house and apartment. The unit is scantly furnished, with a good queen size mattress set that sits about 7" off the floor. There are two kitchen chairs in the room, a coffee table, a book table (stacked books next to a bed to be read or to put things on), lights are overhead in kitchen, living room and bath. Overhead and vanity lights, bath fan. Guest AccessFRONT DOOR is your unit. Key is hidden for night time entries, porch light left on. Inside for day entries. Turn key to left then squeeze handle. To lock, turn key to right while pulling on handle. This unit is self supportive with basic amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. If you need something you don't see please check on the left side of the closet where extra supplies are available. Interaction with GuestsNo one is in the main house your unit is connected to. I will probably not be around but will be available by phone. If you see a grey suv outside it's just me there for something in the main house. The NeighborhoodThis is a little bit country but not open country. Large oak trees dot the acreage and if you stop and listine you can hear Roosters and sheep. Getting AroundYou Drive everywhere. There is no public transportation but Uber will pick up in the area. Other Things to NoteYou are in the country here. You may hear or see wildlife at night, deer and other animals roam around day and night. Don't be alarmed by them, they are more afraid of you. There also seem to be more bugs in the country, but don't worry, they're just trying to get out of your way.

Other Things to NoteOur home has 90 stairs from the backyard, down to the beach area. If you have any mobility issues taking stairs, then this house is not the house for you.

            The SpaceWe are just North of Annapolis (10 - 15 minutes to downtown) and about 45 minutes to an hour to Washington DC or Baltimore. We have lived in all 3 areas and can assist you with ideas about attractions, restaurants and travel plans. We live next to the Magothy River and there is easy access to any type of water activity and one of the best live music venues in the country community pavilion which is right on the water and ha- Rams Head. It is a very intimate 300 seat club. We live walking distance to our homeowner's fire pit, great views of the water and many spectacular sunsets. Guest AccessGuest will have access to the entire house including the kitchen, the hot tub and pool deck. The only area that is not available are our private quarters and office. Interaction with GuestsGuest interaction is totally based on your preference. We will greet you at check-in and be available to assist you in any way we can. We can also prepare dinner with a little notice and your food preferences and we can cook on the charcoal grill most of the year. The NeighborhoodIt is the most spectacular area we have ever lived. No matter what your interest there is always something to do and many things in the area are very low cost or free. This is one of the premier areas in the world for boating and water activities and with Washington and Baltimore nearby there are a wealth of activities and many of the best restaurants in the country. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation in this area so a car is necessary. Both Baltimore and Washington have mass transit/subway. We do have good taxi and Uber service. Other Things to NoteMake your plans now for the October Annapolis Boat Show (Oct 6th-16th) and the April Boat Show (April 21st-30th). We have 2 rooms and can accommodate 2 couples.
