The SpaceThe lodge is located in Cooper Landing, a scenic two-hour drive south of Anchorage (where you are most likely to fly into).  Our three cabins sit on 18 private acres and are tucked away in the Chugach Mountains and overlook the world class Kenai River. Guest AccessWith each rental at Alaska Heavenly Lodge you have access to our Russian River Cabin with pool table, flat-screen TV with DVD and VHS library, sauna and outdoor hot tub; additionally we welcome you to enjoy our 18 acres of property with private hiking trails, groomed lawns and flowers, large fire pit, and yard games. Interaction with GuestsDo all your day trips from the lodge........Perfect base camp for your Alaskan Adventure!  Let us help you plan your daily excursions from the list of tours and activities based right here in Cooper Landing, or the surrounding area.  Whether you want to fish the world class Kenai River, see the whales and sea otters of Prince William Sound, or observe the brown bears of the Peninsula, Alaska Heavenly Lodge is your home base for the trip of a lifetime!  The NeighborhoodCooper Landing is a small community of only 500 residents in the winter months. In the summer it is an outdoor enthusiast dream destination! Settled amongst the Kenai River and Chugach Mountains, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, kayaking, rafting, and horseback riding are a few of the activities available right here in town. Getting AroundWhen traveling to Cooper Landing you will want to rent a car, as there is no public transportation available. The community spans approximately 10 miles of the Sterling Highway, so once here it is easy to drive from the Lodge to local restaurants, activities, and shopping. Other Things to NoteAlaska Heavenly Lodge is made up of three cabins spread out on a beautiful groomed landscape.  The lawn is great for yard games, and if you wanted to bring a baseball and mitt, football or frisbee, many of our guests love to pass the time enjoying these activities. We also ask that our guests remove their shoes when in the cabins, so a pair of house shoes/slippers may be something you would like to pack from home.  Cooper Landing is two hours south of Anchorage, where you are likely to fly into.  We have a small mom-n-pop grocery store here for items like bread, milk, and eggs, but you are much better off doing the bulk of your grocery shopping in Anchorage upon your arrival.  Any Fred Meyer's or Carr's Safeway will do, and they are distributed all throughout Anchorage.  We do not have guest laundry services on the property, however there are three laundromats in town, so you may want to add laundry detergent to the shopping list.
