Will have nearby contact person for questions, problems, etc. Otherwise, out of town. The NeighborhoodPeaceful,serene, meditative, and great retreat with feeling of being far away.
At same time, a few hundred feet from main historic road and easy access to many sites, skiing,hiking, shopping, etc. Getting AroundCar is necessary unless one is great cyclist.
Amtrak about 50-60 miles and car rentals available. Same with Albany International Airports.
Long distance bus service about ten miles aiway and not dependable. Other Things to NoteSouthwestern Vermont is idyllic. Many sports, musuems, galleries,and events year round. Great farms. Locavore. Equi rental nearby.
Cottage is one mile from Shaftesbury State Park with lakes and hiking. Great book collection and DVD's as well as Netflix,Amazon Prime streaming etc.
