Screened in porch if you prefer that. great neighbors and quiet neighborhood! Neighborhood is quiet with lots of families with young kids. Great restaurants within a 15 minute walk to Shaker Square. Can get the RAPID transit (subway) at Shaker Square to go downtown to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, the Science Museum or to see the Cleveland Indians, Browns or Cavaliers. Kitchen is not available for cooking. Can make breakfast with cereal, milk, fruit, toast. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the bedroom and the kitchen, depending if I"m in town or not. The SpaceThis is a 3-bedroom apartment, 1 bathroom with a fully equipped kitchen. It's a simple, comfortable space, located over an arts center in an urban neighborhood. One bedroom has a long full bed, one has a twin bed and one has a king sized bed. Each bedroom is rented separately to a single guest, with keyed entry. If a couple is interested in a room, please inquire for pricing. The entire apartment can be rented (when available) to a single family or group. It can comfortably hold about 7 to 8 people if the pull-out sofa in the living room is used. Please see my listing here on AirBnb for the whole apartment and to rent the other 2 rooms, should this one be booked. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, above a small community arts center. There is an enclosed back porch with a table for dining and/or studying, which is good for use in warmer months. The neighbor in the other apartment is a professional and musician, so expect a little music a couple times per week. Guest AccessThe 3-bedroom apartment has a shared bathroom and kitchen with an electric range, a full-sized refrigerator, and dishes, pots and pans. There is a living room/dining room, as well as a small enclosed back porch for sitting. There's a washer and dryer in the basement for use for a nominal fee. Interaction with GuestsAs much as I can be, I will be available to answer questions via phone, text or email or in person. I work in the building and I live 2 blocks away, and can offer information or assistance. I tend to be quite busy, and will not impose should guests prefer. The NeighborhoodI love the diversity of my neighborhood, and its "perfect imperfections." This is an urban area with street traffic (though not too loud), and, though it is close to the border of Shaker Heights, it is in Cleveland. The neighborhood can have a bit of an edge and is not for everyone, but I feel safe and comfortable here. It's one block to Shaker Square with its restaurants, coffee shop, cinema, supermarket, Saturday farmers' market, summer music series, and ample public transportation. Getting AroundThe apartment is a short walk (3 minutes) to the RTA light rail system and bus lines. You can take the bus or rapid train, walk or ride your bike. There is a place to put your bike inside of the building. I do my best to set up carpools between the guests and neighbors. If you are from a city with a great public transportation system, you may be disappointed, but the Shaker Square area offers buses and trains (light rail) to many areas of the city and inner ring suburbs. You can get details on the the RTA website. You can take public transportation or about a 25 minute walk to University Circle, the Cleveland Museum of Art, Severance Hall (the home of the Cleveland Orchestra), the Cleveland Clinic, etc. and one train ride to downtown, and 2 trains to the airport. One bus to Cleveland State University. The neighborhood is a great base for exploring the city
