It is considered to be one of the world's large privately financed residential condominium project.
There are several medical clinics, beauty salons, newspaper kiosks, supermarkets, shopping arcades, restaurants and food markets within its vicinity, making it area very convenient for residents.
The Lai Chi Kok Park is a large public area near the estate, stretching along the Kwai Chung Road motorway. The park, mainly built on reclaimed land, contains a children's playground, a public swimming complex, an indoor sports centre, an outdoor running facility, a traditional Chinese garden, basketball courts, squash courts, soccer fields, tennis courts and a skate park. Getting AroundThe apartment situated near the heart of Kowloon , Mei Foo, one of the biggest residential suburbs in Hong Kong.
Transportation is convenient for shopping and sightseeing. Just within 5 minutes walk, you can reach the nearby Mei Foo Station (MTR) A Exit, and the nearby A21 airport bus stop. Heaps of buses and minibus next to the train station . You only need 15 mins to get to Mong Kok , 20 mins to Tsum Sha Tsung , 25 mins to Central or Causeway Bay .
I would say this suburb is the middle of HK, the best place to live! :D
