The SpaceThe Beachouse has three floors and is eclectically furnished. A few antiques and painted furnishings add of cottage charm! We hope you like the whitewashed pine walls. Hardwood and ceramic flooring throughout make it easy to sweep up the inevitable beach sand!
The main floor has an open-concept living, dining and kitchen area. High ceilings and many windows create a bright and inviting atmosphere.
The livingroom features a new Ashley Furniture sectional and a 46" Sony Bravio TV, complete with cable. A new sofa-sleeper allows you to sit or snoozes in front of the wood stove. Bio-bricks are provided, if you would like to have a cozy evening fire.
The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare great meals on the stovetop or in the wall-oven. For your convenience, there is a microwave, coffee-maker, four-slice toaster, blender, food processor and mixer. Paderno pots will make cooking a breeze. A new Whirlpool dishwasher will help you with clean up.
On the main floor, there is also a good size bedroom. It has a comfortable Queen-size bed and a cozy electric fireplace. The bedroom is right across from the bathroom, which comes in handy for some guests. A front-load washer and dryer are easily assessable as they are located in the main floor bathroom.
A large master bedroom is on the top floor of the house. It is a lovely room with a king-size bed. The best part are the beautiful views through the skylights and off the balcony. The spacious balcony is great spot to watch the sunrise, relax and listen to the birds (there are lots of them!) or sunbath.
Another great place to relax is in the sunroom which is located off the main floor. There are lots of comfy couches and chairs. One couch opens up to be a sofabed which is great if you want to sleep out there. This part of the sunroom has sun shade blinds and a privacy curtain.
The downstairs has a large family room with a reclining couch and chair and a 40" RCA wall-mounted TV. A sauna is located in the second bathroom off the family room.
A "reading room" with a large bookcase full of books is next. If you are in the middle of a good read when it is time to check out, please take your book with you. You can bring it back the next time you visit! This room also has a single daybed for sleeping.
There are two bedrooms off the reading room. The larger has a set of bunk beds, double on bottom, and a single bed. The other bedroom has a set of bunk beds. All are new and have good quality comfortable mattresses.
When it comes to the Beachhouse, cleanliness and comfort are priority. The house is carefully and thoroughly cleaned for each group of guest. All linens, including duvet covers, are freshly laundered and line dried. Towels and pillows are kept in tip-top shape.
Summer is short, so outside is where we want to be! Besides the balcony, enjoy the large back deck that has tables and seating enough for everyone. There is a well-maintained four-burned BBQ just off the deck. The yards surrounding the house create a spacious and safe place for children to play. Well-established flower beds are often visited by birds and butterflies.
In the evening, enjoy a camp fire with the new fire pit. Around the new pit, complete with horseshoe bench seating. There is even a bit of wood to get you started!
There is a small shed on the property that has outdoor games including washer toss, and camp chairs that can be used at the beach or around the fire pit. Please bring your own beach towels.
